This is the second occasion that I have hired skis & poles from Hakuba Rhythm and given the conditions on the mountain they performed exceptionally well. I’d recommend the store to anyone that wants a fantastic ski experience.

Efficient and friendly service. Easy to swap gear. Felt a bit disappointed with the skis I was provided with - very heavy and not ideal for the present conditions. I swapped them later and requested a particular pair that were excellent. All good. Happy to return. Ideally, would love to hire resort telemark gear next time. Any chance of getting this gear over to Japan Rhythm? Cooma has a good range! Saw a fair few Tele skiers on the slopes too. Could be a growing market? Cheers!

Loved Rhythm! Extra extra thanks to Forest at Rhythm Base - super knowledgeable & incredibly patient with all of our questions. His help fixing an incorrect boot fitting changed my whole week of riding for the better. The staff in general were all great - everyone who assisted us throughout the week was very friendly & helpful. Thank you!

Great outlets, good process that makes picking up, fitting, and dropping off easy. Good range of products for rental and/or purchase. Informative, friendly staff that made the whole experience less stressful. Would use again.

The new facility in Niseko is great, staff also fantastic. However, the equipment rented is a bit old and beaten up.

My daughter and my son hired the same size pants, jacket, boots and boats yet you charged me and extra 13000JPY because my daughter is 16. That is ridiculous and totally unwarranted. Left a sour taste in my mouth on Day 1. Went and spent 50000JPY in Burton and Gravity because I didn’t want to spend any more in your shop. On the positive side, the guy that served us was efficient and excellent to deal with. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to him about your illogical policy on rental charges depending on age!

We apologise that our terms and conditions were not clear to you on bookings as children as classified as 13 and below. We base these rental pricing on the factors of age of 13 which is generally when we find that most children will physically start to require adult gear. Good material. We rented premium ski for 5 days but once there we did an upgrade to backcountry ski for 2 days. The upgrade was too expensive taking in acount that we had already paid for premium ski.

The backcountry rentals do require an upgrade fee as it is limited specialist equipment. The upgrade fee is cheaper than renting a whole new package. Excellent service and very easy to organise what you need. They changed our boards half way through our trip for us to match what we needed and they dropped us off at our accommodation which made it so much easier! Thanks heaps

Rhythm Japan rents out very good equipment, the service is very good and they know what they are talking about and they ask all the right questions for fitting and matching equipment. on top of that they have bring-/ pickup services for you or your rental wich is just super convenient. we would definately rent here again.
