The first year they give you a great deal,2nd year cost creeps up .Sell your car and ring them ,they are a complete RIP off. My renewal is due and its bye bye RIAS !!!!

I am a retired scientist and for historical reasons - like having a PhD - I was associated with the title of Dr. Surprisingly, RIAS agent advised me that the premium would be increased if I used the title. Is this ignorance or just plain stupidity?

I renewed. My home / contents and car insurance over 2 weeks ago I still have not received confirmation documents When will I get them . Please advise . Normally your response is good

Motor renewal had increased by a third,which I was not happy with but reduced on query,should we have to phone to get a reduction & why was premium increased so dramatically . I have ticked good because got through quickly and received attention.

Phone call went O K. Only thing 1 I haven't received the policy as yet. 2 I asked to have documented the fact that I wanted an extension to number of days away from home ( this is a one off) And was told it couldn't be done but to phone up at the time and it would be added to my policy. Is this normal??

we have renewed the car insurance with RIAS because they have provided a good charge and are the best on the market at present,hopefully they remain so!

I was sent my renewal for my insurance for £303.00. So as I always do I did a compare the market type search. It came up with a quote of £270.03. The quote was again with RIAS. So I want to know why a renewal costs more than a normal compare the market quote. I think it is very poor service for your repeat loyal customers.

THIS WAS A RENEWAL AND I WAS SENT A QUOTE. AFTER RINGING UP QUERYING WHY THE RENEWAL WAS ALMOST £70 POUNDS MORE THAN LAST YEAR I WAS GIVEN ANOTHER QUOTE WHICH WAS AN INCREASE OF £13. WHY WASNT I GIVEN THIS QUOTE IN THE FIRST PLACE. SURELY I SHOULD BE GIVEN THE BEST PRICE POSSIBLE.

8 days before my insurance ran out I had to phone to find out why I had not received any info. Since time was so short I decided to renew insurance over the phone. I was offered time to try other companies but with the deadline so close this was not an option. Due to time taken to receive new documents I was driving without them for 3 days. WHY was renewal info not sent soon enough: why has my my premium gone up by approx 25% when your Insurance Premium Tax has only risen from 6% to 9.5%? I am not impressed and will certainly hope to find a better insurance provider next year.

You telephoned me yesterday to say that the NCD evidence I had up loaded on line was not adequate you told me you had sent an e-mail advising me what to do but you haven't. 10 out of 10 for value for money 0 out of 10 for proper communication.
