Excellent with Building and home insurance, was treated extremely well, and I was pleased to renew the policey again

I was very disappointed at the uncompetitive price offered by RIAS on one of my policies with them. My husband and I shopped around and got a price half of what RIAS had quoted. We have been RIAS customers for years but will now be shopping around again when my other pokily is due for renewal.

Pricing very competitive. Helpful when we were away until just before renewal and very efficient when post went astray. Tempting fate by saying we have not had to claim so cannot comment here. But, if things stay as they are, can see no reason to change next year.

I received my car insurance renewal notice form RIAS earlier this week. Due to work pressures, I only read it on Wednesday evening. I was somewhat perturbed to note that the premium had increased by what I considered to be an unreasonable amount. I phoned RIAS on Thursday after work, and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. She looked into my enquiry and the upshot is that the premium was reduced, and the amount although not the whole increase, was more reasonable. As long as this is the standard of service received from RIAS, I will continue to give them my custom. Thank you RIAS!

I have had my car insurance through Rias for about 15 years now and have always found them to be very pleasant, helpful and efficient. I also have breakdown cover and home contents cover through them. I can't comment on claims, because I have never had to claim, but I definitely recommend them to anyone who asks.

I found the process easy and the advisor that I dealt with very helpful,knowledgable and responsive to all that I needed. This should,maybe, make renewing in 12 months time that little bit easier as I now have another Company that I can consult before deciding.

I have just received my renewal notice for contents insurance and have been quoted a premium in excess of £320. On contacting RIAS I said how disappointed I was that the premium was around £60 higher than last year when I had made no claims for many years and was immediately offered some type of discount which led to a lower premium being quoted in the sum of £290. I said that I would shop around and approached the insurance company that has been covering my motor vehicle for years and was given a quote of approximately 50% less that the revised premium from RIAS, it also included an extra amount of cover by 50%, £75,000 as against £50,000. With regret I have moved to my new insurers after many years with RIAS. I thank them for their service in the past and hope that I will be happy with my new insurers.

It was quite a good experience. The process was easy and all my questions were dealt with. As you are the only company fulfilling my requirements I am happy to continue with you. In the future when my circumstances change I would be quite willing to stay with your company. I have always found that your staff to be polite and helpful. My only concern, on this occasion, was that I pointed out to the person I spoke to that the date of purchase for my car was incorrect. When my documents arrived it was still incorrect. I phoned again and was assured that this would now be corrected. To date I haven't heard whether this has been done.

I was pleased with the response of the RIAS telesales person, I renewed my car insurance with, who was very pleasant and helpful. However, having paid for the insurance on the 6th February 2016 and the money taken from my VISA account on the 8th February it is now the 25th February and I still haven't received my insurance documents. I called the RIAS office today and they said they were resending them.

I have tried without success to contact you by phone and failed In "Statement of insurance " Question No.2d.......Do you own or have access to any other vehicle" You have typed in ...."Yes"" I request a telephone conversation from your office to clarify this statement

Given contradictory advice on car insurance renewal on two separate days by two different advisors. Given a price by the first advisor which included an additional driver. Was told by taking the additional driver off the policy it would save £86. Phoned back later and asked to take the additional driver off and was told the price of renewal was identical to the original one i.e. the cost with the additional included! I quibbled and got some minor reduction but I won't be staying with Rias next year. I've never made a claim in all the years I've been with them. Very unhappy.

I have used rias car insurance for a number of yaers and have found them to be very friendly helpful and we always finish up agreeing prices

told when update car details a month ago predicted renewal price would be in the £500 to £550 range when renewal came it was £880 after discussion was told best would be £815 for a specialist firm dealing with over 50s i could have got a better deal if i was 25 with two years ncd than a loyal 58 year old with 12 plus years ncd I informed agent that I had quotes of £471 with sainsburys and £372 with direct line and that the price offerred at £815 was a joke and no where near the predicted £500 to £550 given

The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful. The price was acceptable, after I. Had negotiated it for a little less, because I was hoping to get my car insurance after the home and contents. I have been with you many years, hopefully many more if the prices are favourable.
