Terrible customer service! I ordered a lawn mower and I received the wrong item instead. I called for refund and return and was replied in 40 min. It was two weeks ago. I am still waiting. I even called once and after the same waiting time I was finally given a file number but I was told that it could take more than two weeks because each refund needs a special approval from a boss! In the meantime I have ordered and received the right item and due to lack of space I keep the wrong one in my car. It is a nightmare! My money is blocked too. Two years ago I was waiting for an item and after two weeks they realized that have sold it to somebody else! I was obliged to order it again and waited for another week. Don't buy online wit Rona They are just terrible!!

Absolutely brutal on-line service. Ordered planters for parcel delivery. Took 4 days from Rona to let me know that what was supposed to be available is out of stock. Submitted an other on-line order for curbside pick-up a few days ago. Still no follow up Rona on when it will be ready. Called customer service. Got no one live. It's absolutely embarrassing that Rona is a Canadian-owned business. Rona has no business being in this industry.

Ordered a bathromm vanity from Rona's webstore. After one month of waiting for delivery, decided to cancel the order. Went on-line to use Rona's chat function and waited 22 minutes for a representative. Cancelled order without any problems. Refund came through two days after the cancellation request.

Ordered the Verona4 light chandelier on the 21st and it was delivered by UPS today the 26th in a box oven batteries box with the styrofoam and the light inside broken. Called the local RONA for a return label and he informed me that there is no such thing! I am to suck up the $247.47 u til Covid is over. Yet Lowe’s and Home Depot take returns!! So Rick that they even shipped this garbage!!

Customer service at Rona is absolutely awful and at Lowe's is just as bad. The way they handle returns is so stress inducing, the phone lines are tied up forever, it takes weeks to be able to return anything while you wait to get a UPS label. Their prices are insane!! Never again.

There is a TV commercial where a guy doing construction asks another man to hand him something but he can't remember what it's called. You assume he is asking for a tool. It turns out he wants his cup of coffee. It is SO insultingly stupid. I immediately mute it. I can't imagine how someone with dementia would feel. They would probably cringe with embarrassment and hope they don't look so stupid. Please remove this commercial from TV. It is one of the worse commercials I've ever seen and reflects badly on you.

went to pick up online order and been waiting for one hour. Fortunately, a worker named David who noticed my waiting time and helped me get my order. Otherwise, maybe have to wait another hour.

Like many other customers, I find Rona to be using deceptive business practices. Their online system is completely out of whack with the actual inventory in the store. My opinion is they will say they have it just to get your whole order, then cherry pick what they have and hope you will take it anyway. I'm just starting a $50000 reno and my local Rona (Nanaimo, BC) will get ZERO of that. They have pulled this once too often. Will never darken their doors again - and that goes for parent Lowes as well as suspect they use the same practices.

Rona’s customer service needs to up it’s game. Forget the fact that no one ever answers Rona's customer service lines. I have been disconnected from Rona's online support number a number of times and after a wait time . Today I was informed after contacting Rona’s chat number, that the wait for Online Support was 57 minutes. I placed an order yesterday. Fortunately as a Pro customer, my order was ready today. It’s also fortunate I called to inquire because the notice that my order was ready for pick-up wasn’t sent. There is nothing on the Rona site that allows you to inquire about any matter other than two options that were available before the pandemic. I have been trying to order a gallon of Cabot custom tinted deck stain for two days with no success. Rona has had a year and 4 odd months to establish efficient curb side protocol. There is no excuse that answers to a customer service disaster of this magnitude at this point. The pandemic caught everyone off guard but to still be struggling with the basics at this point, is ridiculous and indicative of a lack of will or inclination to step up to the plate.

My wife ordered some chairs to be delivered to a store nearby. Unfortunately that store had a COVID even requiring them to close for a couple weeks. We thought that our items may be delayed 2 weeks. When we FINALLY heard from RONA despite numerous efforts, we were told our chairs would be another 10 weeks. We canceled. So be aware that this company is not customer service centred and it is best to order elsewhere.

I tried to order a set of washer & dryer online, they took my money and I have not received any confirmation. I contacted them after 4 business days and I could not have answer as anyone was able to see the order. When I finally find someone that seems to be able to help, they informed me that the order was not successful and they will give me the money back. after 1 week still have not got the money. very disappointed

Started by looking on line for deckboxes. Found a craftsman deck box drove 60km to purchase 2 of them. Due to covid shopping they brought them out put them in the truck. Put one together go to put something in it. Doesn't fit. Turn out the measurements they give you on line are wrong. Was 6in less then stated. Check on the lowes site they give you the proper dimensions. Needless to say wasn't impressed with the website from corporate. The store itself did a great job during these times

Tonight I went to Rona in Kelowna to buy a box fan. I went to the back of the store and a young man named Brandon immediately asked me if he could help me find anything. I told him what I was looking for and he went to a computer and found what I wanted. He took me to the fans but the price didnt match what he'd found online. He said I would get the fan at the lower price. He then went and got a cart, took two fans off the shelf (I was choosing between two)and put them into the cart, then up to the till. He told the cashier about the price difference, took the fan back that I chose not to buy, and then left.I didnt have to do anything! I have never been treated so well in Rona before. Thank you, Brandon, for your outstanding customer service and for just being a kind, caring person! I'll be back!

Ordered something on line on April 27 paid for it ,waited until may 7 phoned customer service they told me will arrive on May 10 ,l phoned back spoke to another agent who spoke to the Toronto store was told by her that they would call me back No such luck still waiting . May 14 still no part Major lesson learned STAY AWAY AWAY FROM RONA even if you have to pay more it is not worth dealing with this company

Customer service no good., store customer service line never answer. Left voicemail never return calls from their end. Purchase Order online put in my credit card information., they take the funds charge on my credit put in Pending but l didn’t receive confirmation and order number from rona. Now after one week still put my credit card funds on pending payment. Didn’t return or drop the funds. Call in there customer service line and store customer service line they can’t find the order information :( No result not discharge the funds they holding. ( bad experience for rona online purchase)

orders are placed and keep getting cancelled. Sometimes its explained as not available items and other times there is simply no explanation. If an order is accepted and the website specifies that the item not available at the store will take 7 to 14 days to be shipped to it from the distribution center I expect that to be so. Apparently all the stores are just trying to sell their own inventory. Their customer service is a joke as the girl that answered seemed to not understand english or french
