The only reason I give it a “1“ is because there is no minus one option. The end of May I purchased a washing machine to be delivered on June 23. A day before delivery I received a call from the “service” telling me that they cannot deliver as scheduled and they’ll let me know when they can do it. Four weeks later and many visits to the store having talked to several people including the store manager, they still can’t give me a delivery date. I eventually canceled the order, they don’t deserve my business. I went on line with a major vendor and ordered a new unit to be delivered in four days. I never came across so many un-knowledgeable, irresponsible, non-motivated group of people; learn through my experience and stay away. No wonder online vendors are growing at the expense of traditional stores.

Very bad customer service. Not reliable at all. I cancelled my order twice still they shipped my order. No communication between their vendor.

I would give this a zero if possible. We ordered a fridge and stove online weeks ago. On the set delivery date, nothing arrived. We waited on the phone for two hours in order to speak to someone from customer service. The person told us they did not know when our delivery will take place and it may arrive another day if there is not enough time for them to do the delivery. Sure enough, nothing was delivered. We were not contacted either or informed in any way that the delivery was not going to take place. We wasted a whole day. Lucky for us we were not working otherwise it would have been even worse.

I think they should sell to contractors only. They do not care about anyone else. They are also trying to sell the same item to more than one customer.

Purchased 5 appliances, three of which were delivered yesterday, fridge's door has a 3 inch scratch which you cluldnt see in the direct sunlight outside the door. I called the csr as I was told to do so by the store sales rep 6 times 90 mins on hold gor each call and no one answers, left several msgs and no return calls. Traveled 45 mins to the store and was told this is the way. Sonce even the store wouldnt answer the calls. Spoke with the manager and copied him on an email which he has to forward to the appropriate person. The reply I got was that they are busy. I want to return all and try elsewhere. not sure what do do at this point. Absolutely disgusting.

I would like to say the customer service at our local Rona has been found to be excellent every time. I am here to share a product review as i found this option on products advertised at Rona.ca is not available and suggest this be made available. I purchased the Allen + Roth Pergola less than a month. This product is advertised as water and rust proof which is is not. After the first rain I discover my furnishings sopping wet and rust stains on my deck and cushions sopping wet. (The 3 seating swing was pulled center before the rain began to fall). The rain water breaches the joints entering the hollow metal. As it drains the rust comes with. It is beautiful to the appearance however it is not as advertised and quite disappointing. The rust stain and wet furnishing led me to search reviews which confirmed the issues with many customers which has not led to changes in the design nor have popular stores pulled it off their order list.

I placed an order on line for curb side pickup. When I reached the store and called for curb side pickup there was no one answering the phone. After several attempts I got out of the car and went to the door where the person who was managing a very long line there told me curb side pick up is closed?! It was 530pm! No signage to indicate closure. Tried to call the company’s customer service number but got a fast busy signal, so I joined the other shoppers in a very long outdoor line in the hot sun that barely moved for almost 1/2 hr . Not impressed!

Horrible customer service Impossible to speak to anyone! Still waiting on a delivery, and can't speak to anyone... left messages, sent emails, begged and pleaded and nothing. This hands down the worst company EVER. do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Life is too short! I'm cancelling my delivery first thing tomorrow. If ofcourse, someone has the decency to answer my calls!

I did an Online order of wood and other items. Got my email saying the order was ready. I drive 30 minutes one way to have a young man come out and pass me screws and then told me to go around and start picking out the rest of my order ,WTF!!! Only to find out they don't even have any of the wood, that I already paid for, in stock. Now I have to cancel my job and loose $700 dollar that day! Brutal. I'll never shop there again. We are a self employed business and almost always go to Hamilton Home Depot for all our needs, even though we live in Grimsby. Every single time we go to Rona, we wonder why we bothered! Customer service is ridiculous! I ran in recently just because I needed a small item. The girl working in the paint department was so irritated that she had to tell me to go to a center island for customer service to help me. When I got there, the man was helping someone. He was annoyed that I was waiting and let me know that he was going to be a long time with the customer he was helping! By the time I got outside it was so unbelievably unorganized. Cars were going every which way and couldn’t get help. I was about to help myself and load my vehicle but a guy appeared and helped me. He was very pleasant but he helped me before so many others that had been waiting long before me. Then no one was working the gate to exit so people were leaving through the entrance. Total incompetence everywhere. I would give less than one star if that was an option.

Incompetent , non-responsive and just plain dumb best describes the delivery and service process. Never again will I deal with Rona. Clearly Rona has no commitment to the delivery customer service progress since it has not responded to one customer online comment and all conne ta speak to the same issues.

Rona is socks I ordered hidge Trimmer over month ago and it hasn't arrive yet. When called Rona to cancel the order they asked to fill online form. It's waste of time

DO NOT BUY FROM RONA!! Terrible customer service, more than two months waiting for an online order, yet to arrive. No response from customer service after multiple emails. On hold for hours at a time with no agent able to tell us where our package is or when it might arrive.

I ordered bolts, nuts, and washers for a project I was working on. Nuts and bolts showed up over a month after I ordered them which is ridiculous to begin with. It's almost been 2 months now and I still don't have the washers. I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone from customer service. This whole process is infuriating and I highly doubt I will ever order from Rona again. I never would have ordered if I knew the products were going to be this late.

Absolutely abominable customer service. It is near impossible to get through by phone to anyone; wait times are over an hour. Even then, the customer service rep is unable to refund for a purchase or delivery gone wrong -- the only thing he can do is forward your call to another person which means another interminable hold. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Do not buy from Rona

I hired Rona in the spring of 2019 to fix my deck and revinyl it after a bad Kijiji experience. They did a terrible job even though I had assurances from the high ups in Lowe’s that all my issues would be resolved, nothing happened. It is still a mess.... and when I phoned this spring to have warranty issues remedied (the warranty is now up) they wouldn’t answer or return my calls. I would give them a zero if I could. DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLATION SERVICES!!!!

I ordered a $1,200 item and it took RONA one month (I called and emailed multiple times) to finally let me know that they didn't have the item in stock. Very little communication - Just a refund email. And now I have to start over to find my product with another company. I will stay with Home Depot and Canadian Tire from now on.

Horrible customer service! If I could leave 0 stars, I would... We placed a rather large online order about 3 weeks ago and all items were supposedly "in store." We're still waiting for the truck delivery from our local RONA, because 2 items that were available online aren't on stock, and thus the whole order is "on hold" until they arrive because apparently they can't split the delivery, even if we live 10 minutes away form the store and paid $75 for the delivery?!? I call BS! And what's even more frustrating is that the store rep keeps telling us that the delivery department can't be reached right now and they'll call us back, yet these phone calls remain unanswered. But that's not all. A lawnmower we ordered with the same order is supposed to be shipped from Toronto even though we live in BC, because the only delivery option to choose was "parcel delivery"?!? After countless attempts to get updates over the phone, we emailed customer service and received the response that the Toronto store will contact us within a few days and if not, we should call them... Of course the Toronto store never called, so we followed up and during that conversation, we first got asked why we ordered the lawnmower from the Toronto store if we live in BC (well, we DIDN'T, RONA's stupid inventory system did), then we hear "yes, it's ready for delivery" and then a few minutes later that they don't have it in stock. How is that even possible? When we insisted on getting an update on the delivery time, because well it's summer and the grass is not getting shorter on its own, the customer service rep told us that he would put us on a short hold, then unexpectedly "transferred the call" and eventually the call ended... Is that how you deal with customers, RONA? You hang up on them? So, in short: * Their inventory system is beyond pathetic (things are on discount for a week when no store Canada-wide carries them), heavy items are supposed to be shipped from the other side of Canada, which would cost more money in shipping than the item itself, and none of the stores actually knows what's in their inventory. * They certainly don't value their customers at all. Their customer reps seem pretty clueless about how to answer even simple customer requests and nobody ever bothers to return a phone call they promised to return. Never will we buy from this company again!!!
