Paid 15,000$ for vinyl floor to be installed in our condo from the Golden Mile location. It all peeled up after 2 years, ALL OF IT over 1500 sq feet. When we went back to Rona, they advise us only 1 year warranty. We showed them the pictures of the job, clearly an install disaster. They offered 10 percent off if we replaced the floor through them. 10%!!!! Sales lady , Toni, was great to purchase from, doesn't call us back at all now that there is an issue. Escalated through head office and got an assistant manager to call us. Listened to the story, promised a call back with in 10 days. 20 days later never happened. His name is Kelly - we left messgs for Kelly all week, not one call back. Just a disgusting way to treat customers. Terrible.

I ordered inline big mistake huge tiles came destroyed terrible online return a super hassle . But instore management amazing to bad I haf to order online

This has been my favorite go to store for as am a DIY person for 30 years but today sep14/2020 i was very disappointed with the service of two people one in gutter accessories and one in paints not very happy to help. They didn't seem interested in my business.

i pay 70$ for delievery for wood. I took day off for waiting them. THEY never came, never call.. i call them at 17pm. A woman told me; dont worry they supposed to be there soon.. i wait, wait wait.. never came.. FY Rona, you're done with me..

DON'T BUY THERMOFOIL CUPBOARD DOORS FROM RONA...Paid a lot for my kitchen and after just a few years the thermofoil is peeling at the edges!

OMG, the pre-set time for store pick up at a time with very few customers was an exercise in disorganization. I don't blame the employees, especially that they appeared to have been drugged with some movement retardant, but anyone, anyone like a grade 2 student could have come up with a more efficient process for something that was ordered and bought online. Abominable.

There are no words to describe the horrible customer service. How are they still in business? I ordered on-line which clearly seems an issue looking at other reviews, I wish I had seen that before! My deliver date was changed twice and on the third time I only received one of the two appliances I ordered. When I called customer service I was basically told that there is nothing they can do that I have to wait for the delivery company to call me to set up a date. No way to make sure I got my stove in a timely manner. I was just put in the queue. The kicker is when I asked how they were going to make it right, I was told there was nothing that could be done. It gets better! Recognizing that the person on the call has limited authority I asked to speak to the manager. I was told I was being transfer and of course I was disconnected. It has been almost an hour and they have not called me. I am so frustrated! There was not responsibility taken for what happened. I really hope that this review gets to Rona, but based on the service I received I doubt anything will be done. Never again will I deal with Rona.

I would suggest that you inform customers who buy dishwashers that they're appliance will be delivered without a power cord. It is disingenuous not to do so.

Would give -5 if possible. DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES FROM RONA. tried to support a Canadian company. 0 customer service. They have had our money for months, no dishwasher. 4 delivery dates set up and cancelled, no apology. Wasted hours of our lives on hold to get a snarky ‘do you want to cancel your order’. I want my damn dishwasher. Shameful company, steer clear

I ordered raised bed for my vegetable garden on May 14 till late July I didn’t get my order finally I had to cancel it I’m waiting till late august still don’t get my refund it was my last order from Rona please be careful while ordering with Rona on line

2 weeks ago It seems that their young staff specially the young girls and their supervisor miss getting trained on the proper customer service.. They never smile or greet you. Never ask them for help cause this will change their mood...you feel like they are not getting paid to work. Anyways I don't recommend st catharines store..less varieties and worst customer service ever. And don't forget there will be no return after 4 pm or you get a hard time from them!!!

Do not order from Rona online ever! Ordered a washer and dryer on offer was waiting 2 months with no contact. Every call to customer service resulted in at least 1 hour wait. Finally told it would be another 2 months. Customer service rude and unhelpful. Demanded a refund-never even apologized. Worse than any customer service I’ve dealt with including phone companies. Stay away for your own sanity!

The stores are OK, when you can select the exact item you want but if you order for delivery, that is where things fall apart. It seems that they do not ship from a central warehouse, but outsource the order to a random local store and depend on them to complete the order. I ordered a number of things not in stock in my local store, I wanted a box of 25 Carriage bolts for a project. Most items arrived poorly packaged and crushed, but there were no carriage bolts, instead I got a box of 25 Lag screws, of no use to me. The packing slip said carriage bolts, but that was not what they shipped from the Gatineau store. It has been 3 weeks and all I get is excuses, and someone will call, which they don't. I don't need a conversation, I need what I ordered. I am planning on phoning the credit card company and request that they deny payment, at least for the value of the missing bolts. I shall go somewhere else for the bolts that I need.

I can't believe this company still exist when you receive a so bad services. I bought something in May and as soon received I knew it was not going to work. The description on the site was wrong. I sent an email to receive a label to return the product. After a month I received an answer back (ok it is COVID) but the answer didn't make sense with my situation. I wrote right away to let them know. After 2 weeks without an answer, I call to explain my situation. Well they closed my file. I had to open another one on line. Once done I contacted customer services again. She was suppose to call me back the same day. I never received a call. I had to call myself again. Finally they found a way to send my a label by email. @ weeks after, still no label received. I had to call back again. I received the label. 2 weeks after that I sent the packages and the tracking number was showing that my item was received for 14 days ago but still no refund...I had to call back. The men told me to he was going to call me back in 2 days. Surprise, no call again. I had to call back again...and 4 months later I believed I will received my refund. I can't believe that Rona had my money for 4 months!!! Awful experience....

I bought a portable air conditioner 12000 BTU to use in the living. Despite the fact that the label stated 12000 BTU is idea for 500 sq2.ft room , it takes forever for the room to get cool during peak hours. It liked I didn’t use an air conditioner at all, so I went to Rona to ask to exchange for higher BTU air conditioner in hope the new one would work more better. The customer service staff told me air conditioners are finally sale, and can’t be exchanged or refunded. I felt shocked. I was not informed about it upon my purchase. Or else I would never have bought it. I’ve been shopping at many warehouses and had never encountered any like this. It likes they don’t care what you’ve got. You pay the money and that’s final. It’s very unprofessional and unsupportive. I have no confidence to suggest anyone to shop here, me myself it would be the last time I shopped there.

I paid the full price of essential appliences (laundry set) two months ago but still i have not received them. They dont even give me a date for delivery. The customer service do not pick up the calls. Completely dissatisfied.

Terrible store will not shop there again. Customer service was rude. Manager was a useless dumb f**k. Okay Ill take my $1200 elsewhere. Store stock is completely inacurate online.
