“Roseland staff were helpful and furniture is good quality for the price. Only real issue was the delivery process. It was unclear and delivery men very grumpy and made no effort to protect our paintwork as they came in. 6.00am delivery was not helpful either!”

“I have only ever ordered 2 products from Roseland and both arrived damaged. In fact the replacement that was sent for the first item also arrived damaged. I will not be using them again.”

“I purchased a bookcase. It was good value. I was very pleased with it and it has been much admired. It would have been a five star review had it not been for the delivery. I got no notice of the day, let alone a window of hours. I was not going to be in and tried to stop it but was told it was too late it was already on the road. I got a call from the delivery chap who had left it in my porch. I had come rushing home to try and be there and was almost home so I didn't complain. Luckily a neighbour happened to see it and took it in for me. That was all a bit nerve racking and rather puts me off buying anything else.”

“The delivery of the furniture was in 3 parts which was inconvenient. I received contradictory emails which was unhelpful. The quality of the furniture is ok but not the best. I guess you get what you pay for.”

“We are delighted with the appearance and quality of the three items I bought. The nest of tables are a really useful size, the lamp table likewise and the tv unit is excellent also. A totally new look in my wee family room. Delivery was professional and on querying when the largest purchase would be delivered, I had a prompt email reply explaining. Keep up the good work.”

“Poor delivery company used. Description of item online was minimal not describing the materials used to make the item. For £256 you are expecting a quality hardwood item of furniture however what you get is a cheap Vietnamese mass produced item made out of “Oak Veneer” a cheap substitute to solid oak, a terribly painted PINE body a backing, drawers bottoms and shelf’s made of MDF! The item was damaged, dirty and paint had cracked and also there were areas which hadn’t actually been painted properly exposing the cheap pine. The realistic price of the item therefore is about £50 even if it was perfect condition. Returned the item and received a refund as had paid through PayPal. Was sent an email saying that attempts had been made to personally call me ( never had a missed call all day) to apologise for my experience and it’s not what was expected from their furniture. Sent an email back explaining that their website failed to provide a description of materials used in the item as it states “ The Farrow Painted range is simply extraordinary value for money, crafted with a quality oak and real oak veneer contrasting top”. There isn’t a single piece of hardwood in the unit. However I received a reply stating “ Whilst our furniture is manufacturaed in Vietnam, it is done so by hand, by skilled proffessionals from quality Solid Oak. As a result of this I have contacted trading standards as their staff don’t appear to know what it is they are selling and the “High Quality Oak and solid wood” products they think they are selling is not what is being delivered to customers.”
