“First item arrived damaged and courier was absolutely dreadful. Roseland sent out replacement and used Tuffnells as courier who were superb Steve”

“London Large Bookcases. Superbly packed ensuring no damage to corners. I am pleased with the look of the furniture: smart, neat matching units at a price I could afford. Only detracting element is the underside of the top shelves are very visible and not attractive and the fixing to the wall could be upgraded to a bracket rather than just a cable tie. The hall unit was easy to assemble with the instructions given and matches the bookcases”

“This is my second piece of furniture it’s very nice and well made , however when my unit arrived one delivery driver had to struggle on his own. After opening the package there were lots of marks and dirt on the back board , I tried to wipe it off but it didn’t come off . That’s my only complaint.”

“Very pleased with my furniture however your courier service lets you down badly. As a result I would not purchase from you again since I was given a delivery slot and changed my plans to accommodate the delivery. It failed to turn up and XDP wouldn't talk to me since I was not a customer. After a phone call to your office and the assistant trying to contact XDP while I was on the line, she could tell me that my goods had been checked back into the warehouse although she couldn't tell me why. The next day I phoned your office and was told that I was sent an email that morning from XDP giving me a slot. The time didn't suit and I said when I would be available that day and it was too late to change my plans again. Your assistant assured me that she would relay that to the carrier and ask for a later delivery within the time slot. I went off to do my work only to receive a phone call from the driver telling me he could not find me on his Sat Nav, where was I? I'm afraid he got an ear bashing and I had to leave my work unfinished 40 mins early. The box clearly stated my drawer unit was a 2 man lift but it was bumped up the front steps into the house. He furnished me with the customer service dept phone no of XDP, which I rang. It went onto voicemail. Someone called David phoned me (at which point I had gone out) and asked me to ring a number which he left on my answering machine. The number when I rang it turned out to be a Hotel and Leisure Complex. Inever received any text or email advising me of a delivery date or time. This is the second time I have purchased from Roseland but I can assure you there won't be a third.”

“Great service and lovely piece of furniture. Gave 4 stats not 5 as delivery caused a few problems. No email with likely date if delivery ( until the day it was on the van to be delivered) so I called and requested a delivery date when I was not on shift. Emailed to confirm as asked and then the following day i received the email to say delivery was that day. I was on a 12hr shift! If I didn't have such lovely neighbours ( it was a large sideboard!) I would have missed delivery. I would say a lot of customers work and no date of delivery in advance is could cause problems.”

“I found the console table hard to put together on my own and one of the bolts just wouldn't screw in! So my shelf only held on with 3 bolts so cant put anything heavy on it. However..it is a lovely piece x”
