“I have used Royal Mail on several occasions to post 'signed for' items. The online tracking system never works. I have been trying repeatedly for several days with the latest item and have the same problem each time, so this seems to be a consistent issue that Royal Mail has not addressed.”
“Purchase a item from USA through eBay Global Shipping Program by UPS it means that have already pay tax duty on it, so it will go through custom process without pay fee.
Two weeks later, Royal Mail has posted me a grey card to said that I have to pay a duty fee of £27.87 for the Royal Mail to handle import tax items. The clock it was only £30! it is suppose to be deliver by UPS not Royal Mail. Royal Mail is robbery UPS courier business.
Don't bother try to buy eBay's with Global Shipping Program from USA.
I wish haven't bought the clock from USA because it would be a lot cheaper to buy the clock in UK for the same price without fee!”
“Newry PO needs investigation as 3 items of mail posted there in December and February have not been received - unable to get through to them directly to complain. Disgraceful service - they take your money and bin your letters apparently!”
“My friend in Newry posted mail to me on 17 December and again on 10 February - both 1st Class and neither were received. There is obviously a problem at Newry PO as they also sent mail to someone else which again was not received. If you pay postage then surely it is up to Royal Mail to deliver. I suggest there is an investigation into the service at this PO as totally unacceptable service”

“Had a parcel delivered to my green wheelie bin on the 12th of December pity i was on holiday until the 19th and had asked my neighbour if he would put my bins out while i was away and he did but the postman had left a little card tell ing me where he had put my parcel On the 20th i phone to complain and was given a complaint number and it would take 30 days for them to sort out heard nothing so phoned them back only to be told complained closed as i had now received my item on the 23rd i did ask for the name of the poor member of staff that had the horrible job of retreaving my parcel from the tip but they did not have a clue what i was on about so i was told the complaint was closed that was it was resolved i was the person out of pocket and not even sent a letter of apology great service not.”
“I buy old photographs and prints online. The tracking numbers I am given work for all delivery companies apart from the Royal Mail. Nearly every time I paste the tracking number and get a message saying they can't provide information right now and to try again later. Having to get through that authentication screen each time is an added irritation when I hardly ever get what I need! Why can't they get their act together? I don't accept that it's the seller's fault as it doesn't happen with other delivery companies. I also find the blithe reassurance on the RM site, when the information is not forthcoming, that we're not to worry and the item is on its way very unprofessional. This is just not good enough.”
“No email address or live chat functionality. Website is unclear, difficult to navigate. Specific issues cannot be addressed because it's almost impossible to access any kind of customer service. Worthless. Even parcelforce and hermes are better than this.”
“Absolutely shocking service!! Got e-mail two days ago to advise my delivery is expected between 9:03-11:03 that day. So of course I waited in all day (on my day off work). That was Thursday its now Saturday and still no delivery arrived. The tracker on-line useless as not updated. Do fed up I decided to ring to speak to someone, but gave up after being on hold for 25mins. Never have this problem with other delivery companies. I dread ordering on-line knowing its Royal Mail.”
“When buying online am filled with dread when supplier says 'to be delivered by royal mail! Delivery never successful first time mainly because they will stipulate which day they may decide to deliver and even if you know you wont be in you cant arrange redelivery on their app. Until they leave a card to say you weren't in which of course you already knew you wouldn't be! Then online armed with the 'sorry we missed you' card you rearrange a suitable day but they are not able to specify a time so you have to wait all day when potentially it still does not arrive. System is a shambles and outdated. Suppliers avoid!!”
“I sent a package it went half way there became unlegable in their services and even tho there was tape over the adress they sent it back to me offered me no refund or resend on their behalf they essentially took my£8.70 for nothing”
