I posted international delivery but has been a MONTH LATE. when phoned them I was given a invalid number and email address for the receivers country. When phoned again I was told the parcel is not their responsibility as soon as it leaves UK and they even said that they don't have any contact number for them. Not gonna use royal mail again ever.”

I've been waiting for several small parcels which could easily fit through the letterbox beyond the timeframe they're expected; one of which was ordered in May.
I did a test to see if any mail would be delivered by sending myself a letter via a letterbox about 10 minutes from my home; this was posted 3 days ago...
There have been times where important, confidential medical letters have been sent to the wrong address, sometimes an address not even on the same street!
I've spoken to a few neighbours who have said they've experienced similar things, one said delivery had become so useless he doesn't expect items to arrive if delivered by Royal Mail, & refuses to buy anything that delivers via them.
There's no doubt if Royal Mail wasn't treated as the standard form of delivery & had to compete properly, it would go out of business within a month!”
“I sent a small parcel as 1st class Recorded delivery last week from a local post office. I checked the tracking number ever since but the parcel hasn't been delivered. I called the post office customer number with waiting time of 60 minutes!!!! but their line only played music and no one answered the phone!
I think Covid 19 was a good excuse for RM to layback further more and showing their true colours...

“Use at your own risk!!! Post damaged by Royal Mail machinary and parts lost but did not compensate/ refund me for lost items because they were sent using stamps not through the post office therefore unable to complete online claim form with receipt tracking number and this is apparently the only way to claim for damaged items. Attitude of staff dealing with this was also terrible, uncaring, unhelpful, no empathy. Robotic attitude. I avoid using RoyalMail now.”

Royal mail is a scam. I send tens of thousands worth of parcels with RM every year and they have lost thousands of pounds worth of my good but will only refund the cost of the item to me.
However I am an Amazon handmade seller and It is impossible to prove the cost of my time to make said items so will only send you the postage money back.
This also works for other items. They will only give you the price you paid for the item, not the cost of the item plus the Amazon fees and ad fees it cost you to sell the items.
Other shipping providers will give you the cost that the customer pays which we all know is the true value of the items.

“Just an update to the wonderful service that Royal Mail are currently providing . After totally losing a parcel that was due to be delivered to a click and collect , a parcel that the driver said he had delivered but hadn’t scanned because his scanner was broken , amazingly they have now claimed to have delivered the replacement phone to my property Saturday . Now I stayed in all day Saturday , received two other parcels from reputable parcel companies and yet Royal Mail driver managed to deliver my parcel , without me answering the door to him . Ah but he would have scanned the parcel when you answered the door and taken it in the house . Guess what ? His scanner was having problems again, so another parcel has disappeared off the face of the earth, another investigation opened , second one from the same sorting office in the same area . Maybe just maybe there is something amiss here Royal Mail just a thought . Let’s see the outcome of this meaningless investigation”

“Parcel lost . Driver and depot manager claimed it had been delivered . Only after local post office showed the CCTV did the company admit it hadn’t been delivered , it was a total lie . Then they just admitted it had been lost . No accountability . Had to re order from company I ordered product from paid extra for next day delivery and for it to get it delivered to my home address . Surprise surprise the parcel has not been delivered again , despite tracking saying its out for delivery . What is going on . Shape up Royal Mail your competitors are putting you to shame . “Today, 27th June, 2020 I received a Father's Day card with a 1st Class stamp posted in Barnsley and postmarked Sheffield 19th of June. Another card posted at exactly the same time, in the same postbox, arrived on time. In a previous case two cards posted on the same day, one from Sydney, Australia, the other from Barnsley, arrived together! There have been other problems with post from Barnsley. I have come to expect a poor service from this branch of Royal Mail.”
“Small UK parcel dispatched to me on 18th June, via "Royal Mail 48Hr" (within UK), but it's now 27th June and the Tracking still doesn't even show "In Transit" or "Out for delivery".
I appreciate there's less staff due to Covid-19 guidelines, but this is ridiculous.
Over the years we got a delivery of mail (or parcels) every day or two, but now it's one (maybe two) deliveries per week, and some parcels are received around 2 or 3 months late.
It's better than no service at all, but still a VERY slow unreliable service.”

“I sent a hearing aid to Specsaver 15 miles away, 1st class signe for. 4 weeks, it was delivere. Complaints fell on deaf ears, their's not mine. I sent a parcel to my brother in Cyprus 6 weeks ago !st class, tracke and signed for. They say it has left UK and is held up at Heathrow???? Why did they take my business if they knew? Write them off, don't waste your precious time on them.”
