“Paid for signed and track. The tracking information has not been updated to show that my letter has left the post office. I now that it has been delivered as I have been notified by the recipient. This was my old passport that is up for renewal, so an important document. Post office you only provided half of the service that I paid for.”

“Dreadful service, 2 x tracked and signed parcels sent 29th October and still says just out of customers in destination country, updates have been very sketchy. As for the customer service, it’s outrageous,automated nonsense, phones you could wait for a week to get answered if your lucky. I called Royal Mail this afternoon regarding an issue we have had, where a padded envelope had been delivered to my Nan’s address as ‘Signed for’, yet had not been signed for by my Nan. The envelope had been post through the letter box with no mention of the fact that it had been opened and whatever was inside, removed.
I called Royal Mail to address the problem, find out who had supposedly signed for it and figure out what the next steps would be in order to retrieve what was inside the envelope, track down where the issue had occurred, find out why the parcel has a signature against it even though nobody had signed for the parcel and find out where the parcel came from.
I had been speaking to a lady who gave the name Hayley, when we asked to speak to her manager after she forgot to mute herself when remarking to another colleague “Urgh I can’t wait to get off this call”. Hayley was unable to offer us any form of solution/information on where the parcel had come from/compensation despite us missing whatever we had ordered, right in the run up Christmas.
We are waiting for a call tomorrow to discuss this with a manager and hopefully get a more helpful response other than ‘all we can do is file a complaint’ and get told that ‘on this occasion it will be dealt with internally and nobody would be getting back to you””
“Have been shocked at the ineptitude and sneaky behaviour of Royal Mail.
1) Holding a gift because of an insanely expensive "customs fee"
2) Website to pay fees constantly glitched, accepting then rejecting payments for no apparent reason. Three days after payment was "accepted", I receive a grey note from the postman instead of the package. Turns out payment was rejected after being accepted. No reason given.
3) Registration for online Royal Mail account had suspiciously confusing checkboxes for privacy/wanting to exit auto spam settings
4) Illegible reference number written on the grey ransom card that was sent instead of the parcel
5) lack of phone service to deal with problems
6) If and when they actually will try and deliver the package, I know I'll have to wait around all day because they are unspecific with times and refuse to leave the package in a safe place.
Now, at nine months pregnant with back pain, I'll have to hobble half an hour to the post office to try and resolve these issues which really didn't need to be created in the first place. Really puts a dampener on what was a beautiful gesture - a gift from a family member, spoiled by a series of kicks in the guts from Royal Mail.”
“I had a card saying I had an item with postage to pay. One of the options was to attach stamps to the value needed and the item would be delivered. So I attached stamps to the value and 3 days later I had the exact same card delivered I had put in the post box. I decided to call the number provided to ask for guidance. I am currently still on hold after 17 minutes. It is this kind of incompetence and uselessness that define this inept organisation”

“I have received a parcel from eBay but it was a faulty so I printed a free return label and send it back to Northern Ireland. The next two days I look on the tracking I couldn't believe the parcel was send to wrong destination is in Norfolk, England with same street named! it mean to be in Ireland. Phoned the customer service a awful service the lady was be nasty to me and raise her tone said it is eBay's fault for print wrong address but the address it was correct when I checked. She said the return address on packet it will be redirect back to my home but for two weeks on tracking it show the parcel it has been travel everywhere never been to Northern Irleand yet it went to Norwich, Chelmsford and Peterborough and back to Norwich again. It seem the postperson don't know what to do, my parcel it never return to my home address the tracking it went silent ever since. I try to claim my money back for Royal Mail after fill a ridiculous form with too many question. Sadly I have never got the money back or recevie any letter from them what a day light robbery I wouldn't highly recommend to use Royal Mail service ever it is scam!”
