“As I’m swapping cars with my daughter for a holiday, I contacted Saga to put her on my insurance temporarily. After failing three times online, I finally chatted online and gave all the details. Although my daughter is in her early fifties, with a clean licence and no convictions or insurance claims, they refused on the basis that the underwriter wouldn’t accept her. They would, however accept her for twelve months with an additional fee of £100.
Needless to say I refused, cancelled my policy and have found another company to cover us all for £120 less than Saga’s quote.
