“When I purchased my Insurance I could not pay on a monthly plan, which was not a problem as I could afford to pay the fee required but as a result when I tried to claim my free Oleg toy I was refused as to some muddle up. So I am not sure I will use gocompare in the future as they let me down.”

“The problem was with gocompare because when clicking through to the various sites they give a higher price than that given on the gocompare list. There does not appear to be a valid reason for this and they could not be bothered to reply to my feedback.”

“I couldn't believe the very low cost for the fully comp insurance on my 7 seater terrano, I thought I would have to have paid at least double, best quote I have ever had.”

“It was the first time that I have used saga and I never encountered any problems with the company . As I had no reason to make a claim I cannot comment on that aspect of the service.”

“I wanted to put my car insurance on " hold " as I was travelling to New Zealand for 5 months to visit my son . Saga would not do this ( on the phone to customer services) I was in the position where I cancelled and reclaimed my road tax , taken the vehicle off the road , yet I was still paying for car insurance ,on a " ghost " vehicle . Needless to say , I didn't take out travel insurance with Saga , and I won't re new my car insurance with them either. NOT IMPRESSED .”

“You only find out how good an insurer is if you have a claim, thankfully I have not. The price that your cover goes up to makes claiming prohibitive I am told. Also I do not live in CREWE.”
