“Like all insurance companies, my premiums will go up come renewal. Offer a good deal to get you on board, then hope your loyalty pays off if you don't look around. Prior to Saga, I was with LVA, no claim yet premium went up by £160. So if I'm not with Saga again next year, you'll know why!!!”

I had a small claim when a third party reversed in to my car, i had dash cam so all of it was recorded i got in touch with Saga and they told with the film evidence i'm entitled to go on they FAST TRACK service and with just one phone call they will arrange everything for me including loan car !! so i felt very happy that my problems are over and i'm going to be look after by this respectable Saga company WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead the so called fast track company are bunch of cowboys that want a fast track buck for them self instead !!!, they arrange for a person to come to my door with pencil and note book to drive my car 30 miles away to the some dump they called repair shop !!! (i had google the repair shop premises my self ) . When they arrived at my door in some rusty old car i ask this fool where is the tow truck and official paper work including photos of my car stating the scratches that need to be repaired he said he don't have the tow truck as my car is drivable and no paper work is needed pointing to his pencil and notepad , so --- WHEN HE GETS BACK TO THE GARAGE WITH MY CAR ( which this will never happen ) they will propably do more damage to my car to get more money out of this claim, --- and i wont have any proof to dispute it !!!

“Initial good service and customer support - very good when an unforeseen accident happens, and very helpful. Unfortunately, when it comes to having the third party admit guilt the procedure becomes long and tedious, especially when the third party is from Romania. After 7 months they are still working on my claim, and unfortunately, as long as they haven't sorted this one, my renewal premium is nearly 100% more expensive.”
“The problem with this company is like most others if you change your policy or when its due for renewal they increase the price substantially, when changing my vehicle recently I phoned to see what the likely increase would be and was told between £50 and £ 100 pounds, when I finally took out the policy it had increased by over £ 400, but I was not left with enough time to seek an alternative.”

when i phoned to transfer my insurance i was told that there was a charge of £25 pound to do it....but my monthly payments would stay the same??/...apparantly its because its a newer car so will cost more to repair...after 10 mins of trying to explain that the skoda is a lower insurance group i gave up and cancelled....cost £50.”
“Received my renewal invitation for buildings and contents insurance and was staggered to see a 44.9% increase in the premium ! This despite my insurance needs remaining the same as the previous year and not having made a claim ! I haven`t made a claim since 2010. When I phoned to enquire why such an increase I was told all insurance had increased and this is what I should expect. What rubbish and what an attitude ! I replied that I would go elsewhere and that this is what SAGA should expect.”
