Doncaster Sainsburys delivery slot 10-11 am. It is now 11:45 with no call from the driver. There is no mention of any technical problems on website Phone lines are not answered. Shop phone line not answered. Website FAQ tells you what happens if you are out and they try to deliver. It does not tell you what happens if you are in and they do not deliver. ----- If the computer system is down, how did Sainsburys manage to renew our pre-paid online delivery voucher at 04:30 am? ----- Disabled customers cannot suddenly jump in the car and shop elsewhere.

First time shopping with sainsburys did a online shop that added up to £63 but when it came to day of delivery my shopping had gone up to £65 i was short of a pound in my bank so payment would nt go through they called me to ask me to try another card but i only had the one i did not realise that if items go up on day of delivery or if they have to give you substitutes they charge you more so i asked if they could take a few items off shopping so it adds upto my original total of £63 they said they could not do this and canceled my order which i needed they said once shopping had been picked its hard to go back and amend it which i understand but they were so quick to cancel and not try n help but guess its easier for them to put all my shopping back instead of one or two items lol does not make sense did a online shop with asda and got it delivered next morning no problems as usual with asda but have been put off shopping with sainsburys it was more expensive any way will stick with asda from now on

Scammers of the highest order and the worst online retailer I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I usually order my shopping online and thought I would give sainsbury's a bite of the cherry. Online shops are by definitions usually our big fortnightly shops. They sent out potatoes and other fresh produce with use/eat by dates of the same day, or next day. But by far the WORST thing that happened was to learn they were adding 20p here, 20p there to many of the non fresh products. So the price you THOUGHT you were paying, and indeed signed up for, is actually nothing like the price you will end up paying. Its classic scam and one which ensures I wont be using the crooks sainsburys ever again, or any of their other shill companies like Argos. Can you imagine buying petrol at a garage and its states £1.20per litre, and then when you go to pay they say oh no actually its gone up to £125 per litre. Who on earth would suffer such a scam. Imagine that ripoff times 100000 customers daily. The saps are coining it in. Another good old British brand that deserves to go to the dogs along with the trash crooks who run it. I made an official complaint to executive level and was hounded with telephone calls which I ignored. And finally a letter saying essentially get stuffed. I shall now be taking my concerns to trading standards and the papers. CHECK YOUR BILLS if you shop with the scammers.

I was accused of stealing a carrier bag threatened with violence and abused by a girl at the self service checkout and the girl is still working on the checkout was told by customer service the incident had been dealt with how is she still working there using Tesco now

I ordered wine at 25% discount.Order confirmed and delivery date agreed.Wine did not arrive ,to be FOLLOWED by an e mail saying order cancelled.( not by me ).I then rang them,taking 17 mins to talk to a real person.to be informed that as they had been out of stock ( although they would be in stock today ) they would only reinstate the order at the original 25% extra price and would not honour the previous order even though it was them that cancelled it. I use sainsburys wine on line a lot but will `NOT be using them again.

My delivery was due Saturday morning 9.30am to 10.30am. It arrived 10.25, great I thought until I was told only a quarter of my order was there but I was assured the remainder would be delivered between 5 and 6pm.. not ideal but I could deal with that. 6pm arrived no delivery Rang customer services and I was put through to Calcot store and had to reel off all items paid for but not received and was told I would get it all between 9 and 10 Sunday morning. Off I went shopping to get vegetables and cat food so we could all eat. We had our dinner at 7.45pm!! Sunday morning no delivery AGAIN. Rang customer services Calcot store manager said he would deal with it and phone me.. 4.5 hrs later I have to call again and have been told I will get a refund in 2 to 3 days!!!!! HOW DO I FEED MY FAMILY WHILST WAITING FOR A REFUND?????????? ABSOLUTELY ABOMINATION I AM IN TEARS!!!!!!!

Delivering food that goes out of date in one day is just not acceptable. Actually everything else is ok but there are much better companies out there.

placed order, had several emails saying was on way but I realised my card was out of date so I rang to sort out. Then I was told that they did try to contact me but phone number and email was incorrect. I explained I was receiving communications and it must be them. I was practically called a liar and would not deliver my goods I'd have to resubmit and wait for another day to try and deliver. I went to waitrose in the end!

My nearest store is in Thorley, Bishop's Stortford and it is full of bone idle lazy staff and extremely unwelcoming

I placed an order for the first time two weeks ago for delivery with Sainsbury Grocery for their Merton Store. The delivery did not show up and and I was never contacted. After calling their Customer Support, they confirmed they had a shortage of drivers and I was never contacted regarding this. Understanding things can happen, it was rescheduled the following morning. This delivery never showed up either and again I was not contacted. I called the Support Team again who apologized and we re-scheduled once again for that afternoon; the representative confirmed this would be prioritized and the store clerk had my order to pick. The day went by with no delivery again. At this point they apologized again claiming the order went out but came back to the store as he driver could not finish the deliveries, they offered a small gift card and confirmed my order was cancelled and I would be refunded within 3-5 working days. Keep in mind I am 8 months pregnant with twins so I am not able to go to the store myself to do any groceries. I had to place a whole new order with Asda delivery (that evening) so I could not get a delivery for another 2 days, this was delivered without any issues. I have yet to be refunded from Sainsbury's so I contacted them again today and the store's excuse is that they are busy with refunds and it will be completed today, 2 weeks later. The Customer Service team did their job and tried to defuse the situation however this store's service is completely unacceptable. I spent over £60 on this delivery and still do not my money and I had to wait for over 3 days to get a proper grocery because of their incompetency. I highly discourage anyone using their delivery service and I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I ordered the 1720euro and collect it today at 5:00 in the Sainburys Blackhall store in EH4 Edinburgh. The staff he gave me the euro in the counter window, I collected it than counted all the money and requested him to change some 20euro to 50euro to reduce the quantity. It is so disappointing that he said he can't make the change to me, because I taken the money away from the window and also out of his sign!! What! Excuse me, the money is he gave me, what's that happen? I asked him why you can't change it to me. It terrible reply me that because the money was taken away from my sign and no guarantee the money will be changed to fake notes. I was really upset to reply him that I am standing in front of the counter with CCTV recorded. How can I do it? Why I do it? He suspected me is a theft? It is so shameful. I trusted he gave me the true note, but he suspected I changed back the fake note to him? Finally, I ran away with shame. I was really disappointed the company Sainburys how to provide the training and selection of the staff. It is so messed of the management system.

Never, ever buy Sainsburys Chinese food. It is almost the same price as a takeaway but the quality is dire tastes nothing like Chinese food. I just had to apologise to subjecting my family to a meal that we could barely eat

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER SALE GOODS FROM THIS STORE. YOU WILL MAYBE FIND LIKE WE DID THEY INFORM YOU THREE DAYS LATER ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY THAT THEY ARE OUT OF STOKE. VERY BAD FOR A STORE CHAIN OF THIS SIZE NOT TO HAVE AN UP TO DATE STOCK NUMBER ON GENERAL PUBLIC ORDER LINE.

Dont go near Sainsburys Watford. Parking terms have been tightened and fines rigidly enforced. Wont use any Sainsburys again

I bought a kitsound headphone and one side of the headphone did not play at all and when I tried to play it outside my headphone started to crack up and did not play properly. I do not recommend this product.

Sainsbury's Local Asian manager at Woodford Green was rude, arrogant, shouted and was intimidating to me. No concept of customer service, no manners and no respect for female customer.

Ordered first ever online shop - good didn't arrive, local branch couldn't care less. Promised a refund and rescheduled delivery but decided not to bother with reschedule as had already gone out shopping following day. Goods arrived that night so told driver they weren't required. No refund yet - head office cannot help, have been put on hold half a dozen times only to be told to ring local branch again. Disgusting customer service - they do not deserve people's business in my opinion.
