“Sainsbury online shopping, one word HORRIFIC!!! Beckton Branch who was delivering my order FAILED to deliver and yet they were adamant it had been delivered. Will NOT be using them ever again and would urge all to refrain from using them!!!!”
“We purchased a Blaupunkt TV which is now 15 months old, did not buy extended warranty as most TVs seem to be quite reliable. Not in this case, the sound has failed but the picture is good.
Blaupunkt did not want to know about it at all - not even if we paid for repair !!!
Sainsburys asked us to take the TV to an independent engineer and pay for a report and then they might consider some sort of support - but the cost quoted was £50 plus delivery and collection - most TV engineers are also TV shops and suppliers, when you tell them it was purchased at a superstore like Sainsburys then you are paying the price of no valued service back up !!
The TV cost £125, cheap you could say, but no, very expensive for 15 months viewing !!!
I had e-mail contact with Sainsburys customer service ( I question the SERVICE element ) about six times with absolutely no result ( in fact it was suggested that the fault of no sound could be down to 'fair wear and tear'
No progress has been made at all in fact I offered the thing back to them for nothing, I am just amazed that we spend approx £4800 per year on shopping and fuel - and for such a small service jesture they are happy to put that at risk,

“Sainsburrys used to be a 5 star store, both quality and value for money! Unfortunately it has been degraded by falling quality of product and higher prices! Don't they keep in touch with the mood of the grocery market? It was so sad to see 3 quarters of the check outs closed and very few people in what was once a great store! It's time to wake up Sainsburrys!!”
“So I sent this to Sainsbury today after an awful experience with rude stalker.
Your member of staff always follows me around the store and has questioned whether me and my wife are togther on a number of occations. I feel he is harrassing us. For example, today I went in and brought 3 units of baby milk powder and put then in the car. I went back to buy some tooth brushes. My wife who entered the shop later because she went to another shop, brought 1 unit of milk powder and was already paying so I went to another self service till to pay for the tooth brushes. Your member of staff who was originally hovering around the entrance, followed me to the tooth brush section and then to the self service till and started asking loundly his collegue whether I had brought milk power - very rude behaviour and unacceptable. He then confronts me and asks me if we are together pointing to my wife. I ask him why his asking and it's non of his business. He says that because we are together we are considered a single customer and because I had already brought 3 milk powers she wasnt' allowed too buy the single unit. The sign on your store shelf says that 3 units a allowed per customer and I didn't think we had a new definition of the world customer meaning more than 1 person who know each other. If this it indeed the new sainsurbuy's policy then your sign should say only 3 uints per household per day. But this is beside the point, my main complaint is your staff member stalking us and rude behaviour. He also threaten to ban me because I swore at him during my angry description about him stalking me - boohoo. So I call for the manager.
The manager (assitant?) came and listened to what I had to say, explained that store policy, but accepted your member of staff had dealt with the issue badly but said your member should be doing other things and not staliking us. Elaine was her name and I think she did a good job in turning around the situation which could have ended badly and a loss of 2 customers (or that's 1 customer if you both live in the same house according to Sainsbury), 1 person in the hospital and the other in a prison cell.
Your rude stalker staff member needs to get some training and get a real life and stop stalking your customer(s).
Elaine should get a promotion.
I should get therapy after that and a course in anger managent.
The branch is Barkingside.

“My local Sainsbury's at King Lane Leeds has lots of offers on at the moment but out of the two offers I purchased, only one of the offers materialised on the receipt.
I rang and spoke to a Manager who said "just call back with your receipt and we will make it right". It just would not be worth my time and petrol actually.
If this is projected nationwide they are making a fortune out of false pricing. Well, that is no surprise.”
