Bought several items at Sainsbury's Online which were advertised at discounted prices however they charged me full price. Upon raising this with their online customer service desk (including screenshots of the advertised price), they initially denied that the products were discounted. After questioning this further they then agreed the price was wrong but didn't bother to refund the difference despite promising. Very unprofessional!

The Bridgwater branch of Sainsburys is really good, it has the most helpful and friendly staff of any supermarket including other Sainsburys. I have lived and shopped all over the world and all over the Uk and never had such a positive shopping experience as in the Bridgwater store. Well done all the staff, thankyou so much and happy Christmas to you all.

Ordered first ever online shop - good didn't arrive, local branch couldn't care less. Promised a refund and rescheduled delivery but decided not to bother with reschedule as had already gone out shopping following day. Goods arrived that night so told driver they weren't required. No refund yet - head office cannot help, have been put on hold half a dozen times only to be told to ring local branch again. Disgusting customer service - they do not deserve people's business in my opinion.

Absolutely farcical. I never bother with online shopping but Sainsburys had sent me a money off voucher and a free delivery pas so i thought why not....... Shouldn't have bothered. Had to phone 3 or 4 tines trying to get these vouchers on and eventually i just told them to cancel it as life is too short for that kind of nonsense. Never again. Ill add that the staff on the phone were lovely but that's no use if the orders wrong.

dont buy a microwave from sainsburys!! I bought a microwave about 1 year ago and the microwave started to smoke and catch fire whilst cooking something in it so I contacted my local sainsburys who asked me if I had the receipt to which I answeres I lost the receipt, I called customer careline to tell them and they told me to send my microwave oven to them so that they could run a quality test on the microwave. I received a letter saying that they would be in touch within 15 days. I heard nothing for about 4 weeks and then I called them and asked what had happened to my microwave. They told me they were waiting for an answer from their quality control. Well a couple of days past and they called me up and told me that some dried food was inside the microwave oven and this is why it caught light, they then told me that they could not give me another microwave. I asked them if I could have my microwave back because if it was only food that had caught light then of course it would still work and I would be able to get my microwave back, well they told me they would call me back that day to see if they could get me my microwave back, it has now been 1 week and still no telephone call or my microwave back.. Do not buy any sainsburys microwave oven grill because they are rubbish and only last 1 year avoid at all costs!!! Sainsburys also do not work with a resolution dispute service like the retail ombudsman service so you can't make a complaint to anyone but sainsburys!! So there is no point buying their products.. Thanks Sainsburys you let me down

Well my delivery was booked for between 8 - 9pm, I got a call at 8 on the dot, to say the driver was at my house and I wasn't there, I told them I would be about 5 mins. When I got home at 8.10 the driver was putting my shopping back in the lorry, I said excuse me I'm here, sorry I'm late but got held up, he said too bad your too late. I don't expect to be spoken to like that when I'm spending my hard earned money by a driver

My food was delivered out of dat and with flies on. It sat on the truck overnight unrefrigerated due to the delivery driver failing to deliver. The delivery drivers were aggressive, unpleasant and threatening. I could not get a refund for the off food and was intentionally kept on hold for 40 minutes to try to tactically refrain from refunding me. Another order a friend order they cancelled yet the order showed up anyway which pressured them into accepting a delivery they did not need. Poor quality food that other supermarkets chuck in bins is the type that Sainsbury's will deliver despite promising shelf life like "at least 1 week" etc etc. AVOID

Ordered Ps4 console, for my grandson for Christmas .Order confirmed, then cancelled day before delivery. Their so called customer care department were totally useless and could not care at all. I cannot believe a company like this are so uncaring. The console was in stock at their store. They would not honour the price i ordered for. Will never use again.

We were sent an e-mail confirming our delivery would be with us between 12pm-1pm on Monday, however it never turned up. So, Tuesday morning I gave Sainsbury's a call, to chase up our delivery, however their system was down and unfortunately couldn't help me. I rang back a couple of hours later, and informed them that our delivery didn't turn up and there was no communication from Sainsbury's .There was no apology, instead just a 'We have refunded your order and cancelled it'. I was simply just wanting to chase up my order but instead was told 'It was my fault for not informing them yesterday that our delivery didn't turn up, and therefore they refunded our order'. When I asked the man on the phone to re-order it for me, as we still need the items, I was told there was a £3 charge for ordering over the phone. Outrageous customer service, and really disappointed. We will now be placing orders for the business through Tescos.

We have meals in St Leonards East Sussex. We love Amil as he always works hard clearing and cleaning tables which makes it a pleasure to eat there. He is polite and always asks if we enjoyed our meal. Thankyou Amil

I could hear Paula 1 of your colleagues shouting to another 1 of your colleague her man was coming in with a knife to sort him out. I was very scared and won't shop here again.

Sainsbury's online have rubbish packers. Not sure why I go back... well, partly because of their own brand nappies. Trouble is they've only delivered one pack, when I asked for two, and according to the receipt everything was in the order. And then there are the three times they've delivered the wrong cat food while still charging for the more expensive one. And... ah well

the only criticism I have is the slow erosion of the Tarmac in the one part of the underground car park. It has been getting worse for the last 12 months or so and I would have expected action to have taken place before this. The constant drip from the pipes in the roof of the car park has been non stop with no intervention from Sainsburys(Longbridge branch).

One of my family's favourite Sainsbury's meals was their 'Crispy Peking duck', which used to consist of a box with a whole duck in plus pancakes and hoisin sauce. This used to cost about £9 - £10. Now, whenever I look for this, Sainsbury's only seem to sell a box with half a duck in plus the pancakes for exactly the same price £9.00!? Why have Sainsburys stopped selling the package with a whole crispy duck with pancakes in rather than just a half one and why is the half one the same price as the original whole duck? We're a bit shocked that Sainsbury's have done this, this was our favourite family ready made meal from Sainsburys but now if we want to have it again, we'd have to double the price and buy two boxes instead of just one! Absolutely shocking inflation of price, to double the original price!

I am a regular in Gilesgate Sainsburys local. Everybody is nice. There is a Greek young lady there, Angela, who is always nice and helpful (Always nice to find somebody to speak in your native language). I can pretty much find everything and the location is convenient if you live in western Gilesgate.

My friend and I were in store this afternoon and went to the restaurant for a snack. Food (baked potatoes) were very good. Well presented. Above all was the excellent customer care of all staff in the cafe. In particular a young lady named Amanda who took our order and money. Nothing was a problem for her she was very pleasant and took the time to talk to us and ask how were. Not very often these days that we as pensioners are afforded such lovely service. Please say a special thank you for making our trip to sainsburys a pleasant experience.
