I have called ScottishPower a number of times queuing my bill since the forced migrated from ye.co.uk. I have provided reading to the best of my ability. I have spoken to a customer services representative who agreed there is an anomaly and arranged for meter readings to be taken by a ScottishPower representative I was assured once the reading was taken, which they have, I would receive a revised bill in the post. That was over a month ago. Since then, I have spoken to at least 2 other customer services representative. In each case, they could not understand why there was no record on my account of the anomaly but did politely promised to address the matter urgently. But they did NOT! My ask is clear, a full and clear breakdown of the bill with an explanation how it gone from circa £146 to well over £1k. I suspect this is a technology issue where ScottishPower have mismanaged the data migration from ye.co.uk, along with shamefully poor CRM/Support systems, processes and processes. This is a troubling and extremely distressing situation. I am still trying to get someone from Scottish power to act. Nothing but payment demands from ScottishPower! It also does not help to call ScottishPower, I need to carving out at least an hour to deal with call wait times, the call centre 0800 074 1985 does not work. And if I get an agent, they drop off calls.

Joined bulb... then got a call from scottish power giving me a better deal.. 3 months later the price of the direct debits seems to get more and more expensive... customer service absolutely ride cutting me off the phone when they put me on hold.. they are not resolving the issue .. even though the women on the phone accepting i had been MIS SOLD a product!!! They mis sold me a product have put me in a 300 pound debt ... ontop of that they are no2 charging me 112 pound a month.. bulb charged me 78 poind a month.. made the worst mistake in my life . Im a father of 2 young children under the age of 3.. they have absolutely mugged me off and their is nothing i can do.. customer rights are not considered at all .. will never reccomened.. and once i manage to get out of their crocodile bite i will never look back!!!

Avoid this scam!! bills are not clear and underestimated. Been asked to pay more and more every month and when decided to leave they took £650 from my account without warning.

ScottishPower are useless... they either over charge you or under charge you so you are in debit to them. Payments are not confirmed with customers, they just do whatever they like. Shambles!!

Not so smart. Smart meters are supposed to make things easier for customers not if you are with Scottish Power yes you may get an accurate bill but the problem is what system will actually charge you. My annual bill should be about £640 even though I was £95 in credit and still in credit after last months bill the system increased so the DD from £73 to £76 or from £878 to £912. Numerous emails screenshots from the app pictures of the meter & IHD. They tell me to ignore the tariff data on the meter and the cost on the IHD because they are wrong. I can't get them to understand that the information on the meter and the cost on the IHD exclude vat.

Please please please what ever you do DONOT Signed with this company, they lies and lies, treat customers like animal worst company ever. I’ll need a 100 pages book to write my experience with Scottish power., I don’t even no why they are still allow to trade the worst company I’ve ever deal with, these are some of experience, force me into contract, stop me from switching, put in debt, change my metre to pay as you with my consent. Stop my electricity without warning, with my 5 years old daughter I couldn’t cook as I have electric cooker. No hot water to give my daughter a shower or bath for school. The company is not run by human being, you can’t treat people like that is discussing. All this happen after I’ve paid off all the bills, nothing is owe to them, they owe me money that I paid to then, that was never allocated to my account. I can’t write everything, like I said up the top, it will take 100 pages. All I’ll say why this company still trading with such a poor customer service, I’m company director, this is not acceptable in an shape or form. Avoid avoid avoid.

Dishonest, incompetent, unethical Requested that my account be closed in November 2018. Despite many calls and emails ignored by Scottish Power for 4 months. With the aid of the Ombudsman eventually obtained a closure and a refund at 17 months (2020)! Scottish Power stated that the problem was due to an incorrectly entered meter reading. Now at 26 months on (2021) I have received a bill from Scottish Power, the first time any bill has been issued! This bill is in breach of the agreement with the Omudsman and Scottish Powers licensing conditions. I now need to wait 8 weeks to re-engage the Ombudsman as Scottish Power refuse to issue a deadlock letter. Scottish Power have ignored a new complaint I have raised; on calling it had been 'closed'. On two occasions I have been informed that my account is 'on hold' until resolved. Unfortunately Scottish Power debt collection services do not speak to their customer services. I am now being aggressively pursued for the balance. No doubt a default has been placed on my credit file. I have reported the matter to Ofgem and may be forced to contact my MP. Through either negligence, incompetence, or with a deliberate aim of obtaining monies through deception Scottish Power seem happy to ignore their licensing conditions. And no I do not recommend Scottish Power! UPDATE: In response to above advised to call a number which on trying is permanently closed. Scottish Power continue to make DAILY phone demands for payment. WHAT SORT OF COMPANY THINKS IT IS PROPER TO MAKE DAILY CALLS DEMANDING PAYMENT. Disgraceful disgusting company.

I am a mental health counselor, and l have dealt with Scottish Power on 8 occasions for a ladies account. We agreed a payment plan which was stuck to ,Scottish Power is hounding a lady ,l support to the point my lady was in tears on the phone to me, this evening after a 15 minute call from a female member of staff. The company had already received emails stating l had full permission off this lady to deal with it .ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

Very poor company Sent a bill which was totally wrong they infact owed me monies You spend hours on hold saying how busy they are probably the amount of people trying to get through to complain When did get through they just cut off halfway through the conversation Would never ever ever use this company again!!!!

I gave 1 star because I am unable to give less. We were with another power provider who went out of business during our contract. We were transferred to SP. Our details were also transferred. Wrong. We were sent a bill for nearly £400. apparently, after managing to get through and speak to someone (hour long phone call!) we were being billed quarterly rather than monthly direct debit and the bill had been sent to the wrong email address. It was agreed SP would send me a paper bill to my home address (it would take about 5 - 6 days to arrive) and i would pay by installments. Today (2 days after the call) i had a phone call. I couldnt answer so googled the number which turned out to be debt collection. I'm disgusted to say the least. I didnt sign up with SP. Apparently I was emailed (to the wrong email address) informing me of the change. Considering i have made arrangements to pay the bill by installments when the bill arrives, why is the debt section contacting me?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After on going battles to get my refund since December 2020, I was informed my refund would be processed 16th March 2021. The refund never arrived and was told countless times to wait 20 days. 1 month later I was STILL told to wait 20 days even though it was a month later. Today 20th April 2021 they have just told me that my refund in March was never processed!!!!! They have lied and mugged me off completely but at least I now have proof. Good luck dealing with my ombudsman complaint and I’ll see you in small claims court. Shame on you for scamming people in these times.

I moved from the premise involved 2 and a half years ago. Rang them gave them my final reading and paid the final Bill two weeks later. 2 years later I get a letter from Scottish Power saying I owed them money. Rang them and told them I had made my final payment which I was told closed the account. I refused to pay. Got another letter, a final demand. I rang them again told them the same story and that I had statements to prove this. I sent them copies. Another few months then I am contacted by a debt collector. I told them the same story and that I had sent copies of statements and had not heard anything back. They went back to Scottish Power with this information. Still no joy. It is like talking to a brick wall. They won’t back down. I have now paid them even though I know I owe them nothing. It is making me ill, they are a bunch of crooks. Just don’t go there, you will be done if you leave or change supplier. The most dodgy outfit around. Even one star is too much.

Scottish power are an awful energy supply. I would not recommend dealing with them. Poor service, poor customer service. I have too many issues & complaints to cover in a review. Avoid!

Quoted a monthly price for direct debit but 3 months in i owe 280 pounds, i am thinking they give a lower quote just to get your custom i now have to pay an extra 30 pound a month to help clear the 'debt', not very truthful, i would have rather been over quoted than under.

Scottish power took over my account from tonic My monthly payments have doubled in the last year for no apparent reason, just had email from SP tellinging me my payments have decreased, when I checked online they have put them up nearly £5!?????. Can't wait to be rid of them. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED!

If I could give 0 stars I would, no end of bother with them, constantly wanting more an more money for no reason, would hang up on me when I dispute, honestly please don't entertain them, they should not be allowed to supply energy!!!!!!!!
