Avoid at all costs!! they dont even deserve 1 star, we ordered a sofa in January from the hull branch and its still not arrived! The store manager doesn't seem to care about customers or can 't be bothered to return your calls. We have been told different excuses each time we ring up, even the staff have told us not to hold your breath about the manager contacting you back. They need a better manager, better staff training and better customer service. Save up the extra money and go to a better company.

This company needs to be reported to BBC Watchdog asap. Ordered 2 sofas and received a call from Coventry last Wednesday stating delivered would Be on Friday. Got a call today stating the sofas haven’t arrived as yet!!! pathetic... this company just be the worst... it’s my first and last time I ever shop here and I must stress to all others to stay away from SCS.. I will be taking this further through solicitors but once again BBC watchdog must be informed can’t wait to see SCS on there

Purchased a carpet from SCS a month ago. Luckily had the shop sample and when the carpet arrived I was able to check and it was sub standard and no where near the sample quality. Complained to the store and HQ twice. had one call from a so called acting manager who says I have to prove it's not the correct standard. a bit rich when I have paid up front and in full. Two of SCS employees advise that it is sub standard. Never used these guys before and never again. Court proceedings next as this company needs to be exposed. So much for good old Yorkshire Victorian values. Non existent

Ordered sofa in January. Given a delivery date that got delayed 3 times. Finally delivered after 16 weeks. This was a corner settee, and it was sent with the wrong end. Workmanship and quality of finish, generally shoddy:- gaps at back of settee and different pieces are different heights. Was asked by store to look for codes underneath faulty furniture that was left here, and to take photos of faults - I said that was not going to happen as it was impossible for me to lift the unit - so eventually someone was sent out from the store to do what was needed. I've been told it will be another 10 weeks until the replacement will be ready for delivery (that will be 6months!) So I'm hoping that it will be here by Christmas! I do NOT recommend SCS at all.

17 weeks to deliver ,waited in all day for delivery. Scunthorpe store ignorant and decietful about delivery times Next time i will go to a good store DFS OR SOFA lOGIC,

Good customer service very friendly and we even got refreshments without asking, very happy with scs. Thank you so much. And we bought a lovely 3 piece suite

I got charged by a courier for a soda they was meant to be picking up in basildon from wakefield scs Turned out the sofa was never there and the van company’s time was wasted by scs Now it’s me out of pocket having to fight the case with bank. Scs customer service has told me an area manager is getting in touch 4 days ago lol Do NOT use this company the customer service is non existent you will be disappointed

Absolutely appalling customer care. No help whatsoever to resolve the issue. Either have to take it or leave it attitude. Advise people to steer clear. And look for furniture somewhere else. Will not be stepping foot in this store ever again. Had sofa 18 months and had nothing but issues. Had technician out 5-6 times. Paid over £2000 for it. Absolutely shocking.

The suite which we ordered from SCS Stirling was delivered by Dougie, driver and Willie, crew, on Monday 30 April 2018. We were impressed with the whole process from the telephone call prior to delivery to the efficient way that our furniture was unpacked, assembled and put in place. They were pleasant and a delight to deal with. Our whole experience from the very helpful member of staff in store who answered all our questions with patience and understadding to the arrangements to accommodate delivery on a date to suit us. I have nothing but a positive feeling about SCS just as on the previous time. Finally the suite is everything that we wanted! Two very satisfied customers, thank you!

SCS Chelmsford - I will never use SCS again, we ordered our carpet and sofa's with SCS and had nothing but hassle from day carpet due to be fitted. No sign of carpet fitter all day and I called SCS at 5:30pm and he not coming. We then spent a day trying to get hold of SCS to see when carpet being fitted and sofas. SCS said the Thursday, sofa's arrive at 7am and before carpet fitted. Carpet first then sofas but nope. Then no footstool on van and a week on still no sign and very unhelpful. Have called non stop and no one answers phone and if they do they just fob me off. Have now gone to the complaints board and will not be using them again or recommending them. DFS were brilliant with our last sofa 8yrs ago. Will be going to SCS in Chelmsford on Saturday to go mad as then over a week and no sign of our footstool. Never known a company like them,. Don't use them, not one apology and I am getting know where.

I bought a sofa it arrived September. And we had some one out to it cause the cushions look and feel like it's about 5 years old. I wrote on the guys paper work that we was not happy with it and he said someone would be in touch. We gave heard nothing from scs. It's disgusting my husband wants his money back it was just short of a £1000. And it's disgraceful.

I'm looking for laminate flooring for my lounge, si thought I would pop into scs as I w as close by. Its the first time I've ever been in the store, & after today, it will be the last. I'm a disabled lady, & use a walker to get around. On entering the store, I was aware of people at the back of the store laughing & messing around. I'm pretty certain that one of the men saw me, but made no effort to come & assist me. I wasn't able to move around the store very easily, because its quite cramped together, so I left after a few minutes. Isn't it the responsibility of the staff to look out for customers entering the store, rather than customers having to hunt them down for help?? I couldn't see if they even sell laminate flooring, & because I todays lack of assistance by the staff, I still dont know.

I would never ever shop at SCS even if they was giving it away my Lincoln branch was a joke the manager Richard was suppose to be going to get a tape measure to measure the back of an armchair vanished and he never returned so we thought how rude was that then we was approached by this women named Joyce well apart from her suffering from viably diarrhoea she was just not listening to what we wanted in the end my Husband said I've has enough of her she likes to hear her own voice so my husband walked out they clearly need to be trained up more so they can hear what the customer is saying I wrote to head office and that was also a joke they didn't even acknowledge my letter so it speaks for itself really Mr & Mrs Harrison

Our carpet and suite were both ordered in January.We have been told it’s been ready now for a couple of weeks.We were told we were to have the carpet fitting today and the suite to follow tomorrow, which was fine.All arranged time taken off from work.A phone call from the actual carpet fitter to us was taken on Wednesday last week 11th April and asked if he could rearrange for the Friday, but obviously as the suite was going to arrive the next day we couldn’t.We called ScS and they told us it would be no problem it was all to go ahead on the original day(today) and the Carpet fitter would arrive between 8 & 9 this morning. So we got rid of our furniture last night and took all of the carpets up this morning at a silly hour. At 10.15 we called ScS and asked where the fitter was.They said they would call us back in half hour as they couldn’t get in touch with the fitter.At 12.00,they called back and said the carpet was still in Belgium.The floor manager called Nav said that he wasn’t God and so couldn’t foresee that the carpet wouldn’t gethere,yet they were willing to fit it the following week after purchase. Now they still wanted to deliver the suite tomorrow but fit the carpet in 9 days time. We can’t talk to anyone higher than I store and all just keep passing the book.I would never purchase anything from here again.Customer service is most unsatisfactory.SCS Junction 9 Wednesbury.Absolute rubbish.Never again!!!!!!!!! And I’ve only given it one star review because I had to or they wouldn’t have got that.What a coincidence it was a day when the allocated carpet fitter needed a day off.

My advice to anyone purchasing a sofa from SCS is to GO ELSEWHERE !!! Once they’ve got your money they don’t want to know or follow up any complaints ... !! Disgusting quality, disgusting after service ... 2 months old sofa, looks 10 yrs old, to be told it’s normal & I’m to “re-dress” it daily So read this & give your hard earned money to a company that is bothered to take customers concerns seriously ! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Liverpool SCS full of sharp practices, underhanded sales tactic on an 80 year old, who ended up with a settee she did not want. When asking for them to take it back they told her it is now 2nd hand and she'd have to pay 359 for sending it back. Upon complaining by letter, you soon realise that these salesmen will go to the lowest depths to gain a sale. Where are the Kray Twins when you need them.

we ordered our carpets in stevenage and everything was fine till we paid. Was told they would ring the next day for a fitting day. 3 days later no call. 6 unanswered calls to the store later and someone answers but gives a large sigh that they will need to go the computer to book it. Booked for a Wednesday during easter (im a teacher). Two days before fitting and the store rins to cancel the fitting due to the manufactoror messing up. Wanted a call back to discuss as i had already pulled the old carpet up and had been messed around. No call back. I rang again and asked to speak to a manager, no manager in for a week. So i rang the head office, they say its unacceptable that there is no one in authority to deal with it, tells them to ring me back the next day. 4 days no call. Ring store again, very rude salesman responds "what do you want me do about it?!" says nobody in authority is in the store till next week. ring head office again, they ring store again and say they need to ring the next day to sort this out. guess what...no call. finally get hold of store manager who basically says there is no way to provide any compensation and as it all took place in the "lead time" they dont have to do jack. I will never, ever use them again. Once they have the deposit they make sure their contracts avoid all responsibility on their part so they can do what they like and your stuck.

First sofa was faulty and was repaired but eventually a replacement was given.We waited 5 weeks for the replacement which was faulty again. The arms were not attached to the frame! I had to fight for a refund and the company really did not care . Please do not buy anything from ScS . You will regret it

I bought a carpet from SCS. After five months it’s started threading at the ends and looking a real mess! My advise never buy a carpet from these.
