it took over a year of me trying to process a claim for me to get my adjuster to make me do their job and after one year frustration, I decided to pay for the goods that were damaged under their care

Still haven't been paid for my medical leave after over a month. No one will call me back or respond to messages.

Wish I could make this 0 stars. Got hit by a Red Cross disaster relief van 2 months ago & this entire process has just been horrendous. I really couldn’t have picked a worse insurance company to have to deal with. I had to get my own insurance company involved even though I was parked & not even in the car at the time. I’m now paying for sedgwick’s utter neglect and lack of communication/customer service from multiple unanswered emails and voicemails. Avoid this company at all costs! Go through your own insurance & save yourself the headache.

This company, Sedgwick, is terrible! My car was hit by a school bus and the claim is being serviced by them. I got a text indicating they'll be dealing with the claim via text. But you can't reply to that text. They also provided a phone number in the text. The number doesn't exist. A few weeks letter I get a letter in the mail with contact info. A month later they have still not reached out to even look at my car.

6 months on and I’m still receiving the bill from the hospital for a work place injury. The case manager provided no support ever and didn’t even reply until her higher up was contacted and asked her to deal with the issue.

I spoke to 3 reps today. The first one said they haven’t received the documents I sent via fax yesterday and told me to resend it. I said no, I paid 26 dollars to send those. When I said that I have the confirmation report, she said , wait a minute, “ yeah it’s here , all 12 pages”. Why deny when you haven’t even checked it yet. Second rep, hang up on me. Third rep, was very nice . When we talked about the documents that I sent, she said they only received one page and it’s not “ LEGIBLE”. I told her that the representative before her confirmed that y’all received all 12 pages. And now you’re saying you only received one page? And how can it be not legible when it’s typewritten in bold letters! On May 13, rep said they received the email of the restriction from the NP, and it came as 4 pages and it’s only half a page for all 4 pages. That’s also a lie, because the picture that my husband attached to the email is a full picture of the document. My is Sedgwick giving me a hard time ? I had a kidney transplant. If I go back to work on an untimely manner, and messed up my surgery, that would mean another another hospitalization, another out of pocket copay, and another missed days at work !! It will do more damage than waiting for the right time. Kidney transplant is once in a lifetime gift of life. This is not an ordinary removal of your gallbladder, appendix, or kidney stones. People wait for years and years to get a kidney. Once you have it, you take care of it . Added stress to me is when Sedgwick representatives lie to my face about not getting the documents needed so I can heal completely. Please tell your reps to have some sympathy and empathy for the employees or patients. I’m not playing with you all. My claims are legitimate and I hope you won’t get kidney failure so you won’t call Sedgwick and experience what I have experienced with y’all.

After suffering a serious work injury i have been forced to spend more time pushing papers than recovering. The representatives seem over worked as they just cannot keep up to date on basic case information. It's delay after delay.

My check is always 5 days late now its been 10 days and when I write to them via chat (because nobody is on the other end of the phone) they said they can't help me create an account to find out where my check is.

I was told by an examiner I didn't have fmla, and I later found out I did have it, but I received points at work due to this examiner not telling the truth.

I tried numerous times to log in their system. I’m talking about 4 mornings! My sprinkler line was damaged by AT&T and I’m just trying to log in as a new user. I was told my claim is an “incident” and that I would not be able to create a log in account. I called AT&T and they gave me a new claim number, the same thing happened. My gosh, I chatted to over 5 agents and still can’t get in. It’s a good thing I’m retired or else I wouldn’t be able spend the time to deal with this!

My surgery was 4-14. All documentation was provided prior to surgery day and Sedgwick want to wait until actual surgery occurrence. I called the day after surgery to report but they needed documentation. Sedgwick has authorization to request said documentation. 9 days after surgery and fmla is still not approved. Numerous attempts to talk with actual case manager is futile, but would easily fix a y issue. Sedgwick creates as much stress as major surgery. Highly disappointed with this process.

Had to have neurosurgery on my spine short term disability refused to cover the 1st month i was out saying not enough information? My doctor's note showed i couldn't dress or bathe myself. Eight weeks out of work covered half of that and ended up returning a month earlier that my doctor's wanted me to. Tried calling and at 1st response was OK until the saw I wasn't giving up on the 1st 4 weeks then wouldn't answer or call me back. Originally had me down as able to work the day of my surgery until I asked how the heck could I work a 12 hour shift make a 4 hour drive and be at the hospital checked in by 10am. If this is the company you have to work with for your short term disability then you have my sympathy and hope you have money saved up your going to need it

Impossible to get any sort of communication with my claims examiner. Left multiple messages regarding payment, after 2 weeks of not receiving my check they stated they would reissue which would take another 10 days. Unacceptable service and I highly recommend avoiding at all cost

It too me 3 weeks to get my claim approved even though each time I took notes and called my doctor and advised what they needed. I also have been off a month and never got paid to date. My manager had to take her time to open tickets and escalated but still not paid. Not acceptable! I work for a major company and this is not going unrecognized!

The worst when dealing with people They have absolutely no customer service skills. Contacted my doc without a signed release/consent. I have permanent light duty work restrictions and they claim my accommodation cannot be met but yet they accommodate others. Not fair with their decisions/judgments. Overall the worse company I've ever had to deal with.
