Superb communication with reassuring tone I had never heard of Sedgwick until we experienced the misfortune of a frozen pipe bursting while we were away from home. The resulting flood caused extensive damage throughout the house and was an extremely upsetting and stressful situation for our family. When we contacted our home insurance company, Privilege Insurance, they passed our claim to Sedgwick, who I understand act as claims agents for many insurance companies. The very next morning, Michelle from Sedgwick — the secretary to the loss adjuster David — called us. She immediately understood how distressed we were and spoke with genuine empathy and reassurance. Her calm and understanding approach made a huge difference at a very difficult moment. She also informed us that John would visit the house the following day. True to their word, John travelled nearly 200 miles to our home in Ashford and arrived exactly at the time promised. He spent several hours carefully assessing the damage, taking photographs, and documenting everything thoroughly. Throughout the visit he was courteous, professional, and very friendly. From that point onward, Sedgwick essentially took over the enormous burden that follows a household disaster like this. Situations like ours require many different specialists — people to assess the damage, remove ruined items, dry the walls and floors, restore salvageable belongings, remove debris, and electricians to make wet electrical systems safe. Sedgwick coordinated all these different agencies in a very structured and organised manner so that each team arrived at the right time to carry out their work efficiently. What impressed us most was their excellent communication. Sedgwick kept us regularly informed by email about what was happening and what would happen next. They always provided the name, email address, and phone number of the agencies involved. In addition, every loss adjuster who contacted us shared their direct contact details and reassured us that we could reach them at any time if we had questions or concerns. This prompt communication and reassuring tone made a stressful situation far easier to cope with. I cannot praise John, Michelle, Jeannie, Paula, Joshua, and the rest of the Sedgwick team enough for their professionalism, dedication, and kindness. They have been outstanding and incredibly supportive throughout this difficult experience. Our house restoration is still ongoing. Sedgwick has already arranged for wall stripping to begin next week, and I understand that builders will then follow to start the rebuilding work. Based on the prompt, efficient, and friendly service we have received so far, I am confident they will continue to manage the process carefully and return our fully restored home to us in the coming months. Naturally, I would not wish a household disaster like this on anyone. However, if you ever find yourself facing such an unfortunate situation, I sincerely hope your insurance company appoints Sedgwick to manage your claim. If they do, you will be in very capable hands. In fact, when taking out household insurance, it may even be worth checking whether Sedgwick is involved in their claim-handling process. I highly recommend Sedgwick and their excellent team. Their professionalism, prompt responses to emails, and reassuring support have made a very difficult situation much easier to handle.

I hated the treatment and attitudes of all the case managers I had to deal with for six months with Hyundai. However, I was so pleasantly surprised when it finally got to Sedgwick. Their case manager (Steve) was so efficient, helpful, patient and just a nice guy. He even smoothed over what could have become some issues and helped alleviate much of the bad taste left by Hyundai

Sedgwick was awesome to deal with. They made the entire process so easy and did everything for you. I'm dealing with Newyork life now and they are a nightmare. Sedgwick reps were all domestic call centers, knew what they were talking about and have a very simplified process, seamless

I found out that I would be scheduled for surgery 6 weeks in advance. A week later, I informed my supervisor and began the calls to Sedgwick; the case manager stated that everything had to be turned in by a particular date in March. Two weeks from the initial call, my doctor, his assistant (nurse), and myself had all sent our respective paperwork to Sedgwick. Surgery took place and some time afterwards, more paperwork was sent on my behalf (yesterday), and later today, I received an email that everything was approved such as the LOA and pay for the specific timeframe. Now I’m waiting to return to work and get with our financial dept. She stated that she could find a way to ensure I’m paid completely for the few days that weren’t covered (pay wise) by working her magic! Overall, I’m satisfied with the process. I would advise a bit more communication from my specific case manager but the ladies that I did speak to later on, were phenomenal!

Sedgwick is the dirtest bunch of liars, I have ever witnesses, I filed a complaint against them, with the commissioners office, the guy there turned his back, on the truth... I hope Patrick Morrsey fires everyone of them, I would name them all off but I'm filing a discrimination against everyone of them, Sedgwick, had three of the lowest lives a man could talk to. Money motivates them and the feather in the hat ,I'd be ashamed to say I worked for them.... YOu would have to be a professional liar to get a job there, not all of them but the ones I know, shame on you ..

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS - I BELIEVE SEDGWICK IS BEING ILLOGICALLY BASHED!!! I have had Three - Count Them - THREE - Separate Extended Leave Claims through Sedgwick as a Lowes Employee, and I've only been their employee for TWO YEARS!! First, A Proper Shout-Out To Them for putting up with my apparently hazard lightning-rod life! The first accident, a rather odd pallet lifting and stacking incident in which I partially tore a tendon in my right forearm! This required surgery, a month and a half of recovery and physical therapy! Next, a winter, right shoulder ligament injuring trip-and-fall in the parking lot of my apartment complex. This occurred over a mid-parking lot cement "parking guide" with no raised markers. This structure disappears when it snows more than 6 inches!! I'm still addressing the safety hazard this poses! Again, over a months rehab and recovery! Thirdly, and worst, a severe auto accident involving a practically head-on collision with a cement embankment! (I'm starting to feel that Murphy is somehow a relative of some kind!) This fractured my Sternum, and though no treatment could help, I was again out for over a month! Each and every time Sedgwick immediately accepted my claim, expediently processed it and kept me updated through their My Sedgwick Website!! By the way, all claiments have 24-Hour access to this site, and are informed of this in the Snail Mail and Emailed claims documentation!! This is how to contact your Case Manager with any questions you may have!!! Sometimes I must wait a day or so for a response, but I simply consider how many injured people there are - then this becomes totally acceptable!! Remember; Patience Is A Virtue Folks!! You Are Not The Only Claimant They Have!!!! Also, I have always been paid by Sedgwick no later than Two Weeks after my claim was approved, and that only takes, at most, a week - as long as you provide the understandably required documentation! My goodness! A three week wait - to me, that's a pretty fast response to an unpredictable and processing-required occurrence!!! Face it - They Are A Health-Care Business, ever heard of HIPAA?!? It's a paperwork nightmare that they must correctly follow TO PROTECT YOU!! In the future, look more closely at whether you are actually Working "Properly" With Them --- Or Simply, Judgmentally, And Selfishly, Against Them!! PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT!!!! Sedgwick Is Not Evil Or Out To Get You - Just An Insurance Company Filling A Much Needed.Service!! Thanks To Anyone Who Reads This In It's Entirety - I Hope It Helps! THANKS SEDGWICK FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE FOR ME!!🫡👍

I have been dealing with sedgwick since February and I only had one adjuster that was rude and didn’t answer any emails , questions etc and they was Clancy. As far as Ms Paire Watts , Janet Vickroy , Patricia Soto and Christine Goode they were all such a help ! Answered any questions I had , gave updates without me having to reach out and were overall kind making the process seamless. Just giving y’all hope that they aren’t all rude ! Thank you ladies for your help

My name is Mrs. Thompson, I'm a 59 year old who has worked since I was 14 years old and never had to file a claim for Disability before. But on 6/3/23, in the early evening this past Saturday at about 1:20 pm, I was on the phone with a lovely lady name Diwana, I hope I got her name right because she went above and beyond to help me file a "Short Term Disability Claim" We had almost finished up when the call disconnected, I prayed I gave her enough information for her to call back but I still decided I'd call back anyway. While I tried to call back knowing that I may have to go through it all again, Diwana calls me back! Thank you Jesus! Anyway, for you company to have someone like her, that would go beyond the call of what she had to do was amazing and she should be well honored for this, commended for her courteous polite attitude and patient manner. Thank you so much Diwana! And God bless!

I have been dealing with the most fantastic girl in the Sedgwick Perth office (Irish descent so Sedgwick know who this is). They are not our insurers naturally but she is an absolute champion. Keep hold of this girl. She is worth promoting over time all the way to the top.
