“Excellent service from the sales team, in particular Chris Boyce, and all the staff at York. Encouraged to order early, and kept informed on progress until my all new Sportage arrived at the estimated date. The car surpassed my expectations. Once again the SG Petch team met all my needs”

“I am really over the moon with the service I have received from all the staff at SG Petch Sunderland, I must say that in particular, the help I received from Mr Roy Cook was indeed very good, both my wife and I were treated like family which was so comendable, to both of us Roy is a true gentleman. I must say I was not aware of SG Petch garage or I would certainly have used the facility much sooner, I would like to thank all the staff for the kindness and help afforded to me in the relatively short time I have been a customer of SG PETCH. “We went out looking for a new vehicle, we called with SG Petch in Sunderland as we didn’t want to go into Newcastle, it was a great decision for ourselves. The staff listened to us as we explained our needs and budget and we left agreeing to buy a new vehicle. It was so easy, no hard sell and we now have our new car which is brilliant.”

“Took my car in for mot and it failed, I was panicking about getting back home to my child as I had already been longer than expected and babysitter needed to leave. Angela was so helpful and found me a loan car for the day so I could get home.”

“Chris was brilliant. He was very helpful and honest. He wasn't in any way pushy which had put me off several other garages in York. He was flexible and understanding of my work and childcare commitments. He resolved a minor issue quickly and I felt he genuinely cared about us getting a car that suited our needs, and didn't just want a quick sale. All the other staff I encountered were pleasant and kind.”

“My picanto coming up to 7 years now . Just been for wiper replacement..... as ever excellent customer service so helpful always. Charles is brilliant so feel confident dealing with him& chap who fitted wipers brilliant!!! I could go elsewhere but won’t. Thank you for being there for an old biddy & I appreciate.”

“Hi I have just taken delivery of my new Ibiza xcellence luz it is fabulous I can’t thank Matthew at Durham enough been with me all through the process not pushy but very professional friendly and helpful he is a credit to the company one small thing Seat connect it’s a pity it will not connect to car Matthew trying to sort it but when you take this on you expect it to work not branch fault but it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth that this system not working”

“I have bought 3 cars in total from SG Petch and the 3rd one will be the last. I was contacted by the Middlesbrough Branch to see if I would like to upgrade my car as there was equity in it. I didn't really need to so said I would think about it. A few days later I was called again and said I would if it was a Hybrid and it was possible, so we agreed the sale of my car and a purchase of a new 2022 plate. I love the car, but when I got home I realised i didn't have any car matts. very trivial I know, but with 4 kids, it's important as I want to keep the car looked after. I was told I couldn't have any!!! I would have to buy them! I even asked for the ones from the car I had sold them back. It's like pulling teeth. I have been offered some at cost. A £35k Car and I have to buy the matts. So, I won't be buying a car from SG Petch again. Which is a shame as I must have referred half a dozen customers to them also.”

“I find buying a car quite stressful prior to going into SG perch I had received the typical pushy salesman at another main dealer. Walking into SG perch was a totally different experience, patient, informative and let me test drive at my leisure with no sales pitch Craig spent ages talking me through my options,a great part ex deal was offered with no pressure I went back a couple of days later and bought my new car. Communication was perfect just enough and when I went to get it today it was so easy, everything was done online for the finance and the car was ready when I got there. I can’t fault the service I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend”

“I've been driving for more that 50 years and the experience of buying a car has got progressively better over time. On this occasion your salesperson, James Chadwick, made it simpler and clearer than ever. He made the process feel easy and the documentation received was full and transparent. I don't buy cars very often as I find that looking after them can make them last a bit longer but I shall remember the name S G Petch! Thanks again to James.”
