order #SM12195067-TR To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a serious complaint regarding a recent purchase I made from Shapermint. I bought several body shapers from your company, and what happened after trying one of them on has left me deeply concerned about product safety and hygiene standards. The night before leaving for an 8‑day Caribbean cruise, I tried on one of the shapers for the first time. Immediately afterward, I got into the shower. By the time I stepped out, I had developed a painful boil‑like sore on the inside of my thigh. Overnight, a second sore appeared directly across from the first one, which made me worry that this might be something contagious. By the time I was able to get to a doctor, a third sore had developed next to the original one. The doctor informed me that it appeared to be a bacterial infection and that it was likely contagious. I was prescribed antibiotics, and the timing could not have been worse. My entire cruise was affected—I was uncomfortable, in pain, and forced to wear large bandages to keep the sores covered and contained. When I returned home, I decided to test the shaper I had tried on. I poured peroxide on the inside of the fabric to see if it reacted. It foamed immediately—in the exact spot where the first boil had appeared on my thigh. Although I attempted to record this reaction, I unfortunately did not hit the record button correctly, so I do not have video evidence. Regardless, the experience itself was extremely distressing and unacceptable. This raises serious concerns about whether the item I received had been previously worn and returned without proper sanitation. No customer should ever have to worry about contracting a bacterial infection from a clothing item purchased as new. I am sharing this not only to request that Shapermint address this issue, but also to warn other customers: wash every item before wearing it, even if it is supposed to be brand new. I expect a response from your company regarding: How this could have happened What quality control and hygiene measures are in place What steps you will take to prevent this from happening to anyone else Appropriate compensation for the medical costs, ruined vacation experience, and the distress this caused I hope Shapermint takes this matter seriously. I was happy enough with my initial purchases to keep them. However, the monthly subscription is a whole other thing. I was offered an additional month for free when I went to cancel, however they charged me anyways. I tried to resolve it with customer service, and while they acknowledged they'd made an error in offering it to me, they were unwilling to resolve it. For $5 they'd rather lose a customer.

Their return system is terrible.. l love their bras , but it’s too hard to deal with their. “ customer service “. You have to type everything in and wait for the answer P PAY for A PHONE LINE

Took forever to get order, then I ordered the same bra in 3 dierrent colors and every bra was different. I’ll be returning all 3 for a refund.

I feel the bra is not made strong enough for large chests. I ordered the 3x and it does not hold up well at all. It feels more like a thin sports bra for relaxing. After reading and watching reviews I was excited to try this product. Unfortunately, I am not happy with the product.

Took a long time to review - and doesn't fit well. A different size wouldn't help - maybe would work well for c-cup or smaller, but anything bigger it doesn't fit well at all. I wanted to love this bra, but sadly it just isn't working for me.

The customer service is very disappointing. I have tried to contact Shapermint 3 different ways and I have not heard back. I ordered the wrong colour and caught my mistake 5 mins after ordering. I tried to change the colour. Rachel Mint (the bot) “filed” my issue and said someone would get back to me and no ever did. The item was shipped so I tried again this time I called which in the end of the call they ask you to email, so I did. Nothing! Item arrived, so I went back to Rachel and filed another issue. This time I got an email saying that it has been given a number and that someone would get back to me … still waiting!

I was supposes to get a free product and didn’t get it because it was out of order. I got a 20% discount instead. Which is not worth the free product.

Issue with finding correct size. Issue with an exchange. Non-existent customer service. There doesn’t appear to be a voice or live access to provide assistance. Chat was useless.

I really don’t like the fit. It’s the right size but it is not comfortable and it rolls on the bottom. It was really hot wearing it. I had to take it off after an hour. Just too uncomfortable.

I had two different sizes and was was replaced free of charge , excellent customer service , but has for the bra the band it doesn’t stay in place, it rolls up under the bust and it made me so hot I got a rash and then the cups turned me into a sausage shape , it was the right fit

Bra did not fit properly. Bottom band did not stay in place and rolled up. The side stays bulged out, making it uncomfortable under my arms. Thought I had placed a return without issue, and during the return process, tried to order a swim suit bottom. It appeared to go through as expected, and my refund was reduced by the amount of the swim suit bottom. Resulting refund was processed to my credit card, but the order for the swim suit vanished into thin air. Don't want anything to be done about it... will chalk it up to experience and not order again. Ordered in Canadian dollars. Was charged in U.S. dollars. Lose conversion on the sale, and on the refund. Again, will chalk it up to experience and not order again.

Just not sure about the fit, I thought it looked more like a definitive cup. Instead my breasts look flat. It’s definitely comfortable, but it does roll up and it makes me look flat. Not sure if I ordered wrong size, my normal bra is a 40D. Going to give it another shot…

I ordered two strapless bras and two different colors. Of course, when you get ready to check out, they offer you a better deal to add more. When I clicked to check it out to see what it was it added it to my order and automatically totaled me and charged me. I was able to get back into the order after doing a chat and telling them I did not want the two extra ones, why would I need four strapless bras? And she came back with, well keep one of the extra one of the extra one’s and will only charge you this. I told her still, I did not need any extra other than the two that I had originally ordered. That’s the second time I’ve had an issue when I’ve gone to look at the special deal and it automatically adds it and charges it. I finally was able after several minutes of the chat to get her to give me credit for the two that I did not want. It should be a little more self-explanatory that if you go into the special offer, that is probably gonna add it on regardless.

I ordered the Capri pant and it does not fit 5'1" like a Capri. In fact I need to hem it to make it be at my ankles. I tried to request a return, but Shapermint will not allow a return on this item?? I can only exchange it for the same item? I don't want "Capri" that comes below my ankles.

I did keep the one bra but I had ordered 5 items and I was very disappointed. And the when I processed my returns somehow some of my money went to a gift card. I DID NOT WANT! When I tried to contact you to clear up this situation I still haven’t received a response. I just wanted to get things cleared up and get my refund.
