A Truly horrible company - Even their employees think so A Truly horrible company. I recently tried to buy a Playstation 5 from this company for my nephews birthday. I pre-ordered one previously (last year) and didn't realise they had a 1 console rule. When I saw this I immediately got in touch and explained my mistake. They have since banned me and taken a £20 fee despite me telling them a few minutes after I ordered! I spoke to their customer services team showing them my original message and the time it was sent and they kept referring to me breaking the rules as if i were a murderer. I would avoid this company at all costs even if you have to pay slightly more elsewhere trust me it will be worth it in the long run. If you read some of the reviews on glassdoor from their employees it is absolutely withering and specifically refers to being encouraged to rip off their customers (see below). Save yourself the trouble. 'pushes for illegal activities - very stringent - Scam people We were pushed to write positive reviews of the shop and set as task force to have any negative reviews deleted' 'Whenever there was a chance to rip off money from customers, we were promted to do so.' - Which is exactly what i have experienced. Seems like a very dodgy company to me.

The first i knew i had a problem was when i received 3 emails from my Paypal about 3 purchases i had made, (I hadn't actually made any), i then received 3 emails from ShopTo about these purchases. Firstly i contacted Paypal about unauthorised activity i then with the email from ShopTo was able to get onto the account, it had my name and address correct but my DOB was incorrect. I can confirm that the customer service using Facebook Messenger is very rude, they would or could not answer to me how an account in my name was set up without me getting an activation email. I RECKON THIS COMPANY ARE A SCAM OPERATION SO BEWARE.

I ordered the Pokemon Shining Pearl when the preorders opened. The preorder promised the Palkia figure and a poster. Today I received my package, and there were neither of the bonuses that were promised included. The figure I understand the reason, that I haven't gotten it yet as it was delayed worldwide, but the poster? There's no reason. After this I contacted support, to which they said "This should have come with the poster. Please accept our apologies for this, unfortunately we do not have any stock of this left." But since there was nothing on my package apart from the game how am I supposed to be happy with my order? I paid for a service, so I should get my bonuses. Very unhappy with the service. Terrible customer support.

Not just rude but NASTY customer service. Please don't ignore the one star reviews, ShopTo are simply awful to deal with and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I asked to cancel an order politely on the phone and the man I spoke to was so nasty he reduced me to tears. They refuse to send you your money back, belittle you and ignore any complaints. DO NOT USE

My wife sent a message this morning regarding how to get her money back after cancelling a refund. She is dyslexic and needs support in reading information, particularly when there is a vast amount of it. As there was no one to support her at that moment in time, she found it easier to send a message via Facebook to get more direct information. She received a rude and sarcastic reply back from an unnamed person via messenger. Once she showed it to me I replied on her behalf and received an even nastier reply back. This caused her massive upset as she shouldn’t need to explain her situation to complete strangers just to get some help. Her original message was perfectly polite and a great task for her to compose in the first place. In a world where we are asking for people to “be kind,” this employee clearly couldn’t care less about.

Absolute joke of a website. They make it near impossible to create an account. The link to your Amazon account doesn't even work. The only option to pay is with Paypal and that doesn't even work. I've tried 3 different forms of payment on Paypal and it still doesn't work. There is no option to use your credit card. Their customer support chat uses Facebook messenger which is also another joke zero help whatsoever. They finally asked me to create a ticket by clicking Helpdesk under My Account. Turns out there is no Helpdesk option in My Account. It should not be this difficult to make one single purchase. The website and customer support is atrocious and needs a complete overhaul. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I back-ordered a PS5 with Shopto, which they cancelled, claiming there were two going to my address. This is categorically not true, so they most likely either made a mistake or are making excuses because they ran out of stock. Dreadful experience, and I now have a complete lack of trust in this company and won't be ordering from them again. To make matters worse, when I posted this on trustpilot, ShopTo flagged it as "illegal or abusive" (which it is neither).

Ordered a game, wished to texture it so opened a ticket. Re ieved an email saying they have closed the ticket and to sign in and start a new one, only to find they have closed my account

I would give 0 stars if I could. They sent me something I didn’t order and charged me £200 for the privilege. Not they don’t respond to any form of contact. They have no phone support and no email support. Only helpesk tickets that they don’t respond to. It’s not even that big of an error they’ve made, I made a pre order but then changed my mind. They sent the stuff anyway and charged me without contacting me and now I can’t even raise a simple return to get my money back. They just stay silent and snark back on Facebook messenger. I don’t know if this entire operation is a scam but they don’t appear to take customer service seriously and charge cards without permission. Avoid them. Just use Amazon, at least if something goes wrong they will sort it.

Great along as you don't have a problem... But as soon as you get a problem, good luck with that, no response from customer service now for 5 days and Facebook page just deletes your comments unless they are positive comments 😡 avoid this company 😡

Used TrustPilot and they repeatedly report my honest account and try and call me a liar to have my review removed. They don’t take accountability for their errors. They’re rude and when they can’t intimidate you into changing a review to a 5 star one, they will report you and your integrity to have your review removed. They do that rather than being accountable for their mistakes and unprofessionalism. I contacted them via FB messenger (I was redirected after clicking the ‘message us’ button) because we paid for and did not receive an item. We were mocked, called entitled, accusatory and basically told ‘we sent it, deal with it, oh well’. At one point I was told I wouldn’t be sent a new one or refunded. The staff on Facebook messenger are disgustingly rude and condescending and because you ultimately end up having your query sorted by the staff above them in the ticket help desk department, they’re a massive waste of salary, sat being paid to be unprofessional and lose customers due to their ‘smart’ & unfunny replies. We finally got a refund from the real customer service team after creating a help ticket, who thankfully are polar opposites to the kids on the Facebook team. The help desk team should be the only point of call. The help ticket team are very professional and although take a little longer to reply. It’s worth it. You receive the help you deserve being a paying customer.

Few issues I have had with ShopTo. Firstly they didn't bother dispatching my order I paid extra for 24 hour delivery. I had to contact them when it didn't turn up as I had received nothing at all to tell me what was going on. Their customer service is shockingly bad and out of spite just deleted my order without telling me, when I complained he deleted my account preventing me from doing anything about it. I emailed their CEO, Igor, and got nothing back. The only thing they have done is try to take down my negative reviews. Do not trust their 4.6 trustpilot review, they have another account on there with 1.2 stars and the common theme from everyone is that they get negative reviews taken down and leave the very suspect looking 5 star reviews that all focus on how great the experience was, none of these 'reviewers' have ever left more than 1 review. They will almost certainly try to get this review taken down to maintain their scam.

I recieved an invoice from these ppl 4 days ago. I had not been online at the time the order was made. The order was for 50 pound for a live xbox gift card. I tried to contact them to tell them I had not made this order. I got no reply. I complained to PayPal and also my bank. Waiting to hear from PayPal. I did some research on this company which made me worry more only trust pilot have too good to be true reviews on this company. I put my negative review and within 5 mins I got a response from shopto.net.Not about my fraudulent order but they were not happy with my review. I told them why their only answer was talk to PayPal. I asked why have not recieved this so called code. They told me they do not send codes to emails. You have to go to your acc. But I don't have an acc I had not ordered from them. On the receipt it says in red letters that a fraud check will be made before you get your order and yet they had let someone use my email to make an acc with them without verifying the email address they were given, some fraud check that was didn't even bother to verify a potential customers email when they are being paid 50 pounds for a code that is being sent to that acc.Their only answer was talk to PayPal. I did not get any answers when I questioned their lack of concern that fraud has been committed here. Funny how they have a no refund no return policy on digital orders. They don't even care when an order has been made unauthorised. I have not recieved anything off them and feel they don't care as long as they get their money. Before you go believing the too good to be true trust pilot reviews read the ex employees reviews on glass door quite shocking DO NOT ORDER DIGITAL FROM SHOPTO. NET ONCE THEY RECIEVE YOUR MONEY HARD LUCK WOULD GIVE NO STARS FOR THIS DON'T CARE COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I bought a digital game. I was unable to download it. I could not get onto the Nintendo store on my 3ds. Customer service was slow. I have been refused a refund. I am now stuck paying for an item I cannot use. BUYERS BEWARE.

I bought a digital game from shopto.net for my 3ds. When I tried to download it I was unable to access the Nintendo store. I asked for a refund. It was refused. I had to wait a long time to receive a reply to my messages. I have e have now paid for an item I cannot use. BUYERS BEWARE.

Company took 77 quid from my account without permission. Its been 3 weeks trying to get it back while they spin a web of lies about me being hacked clicking links i shouldn't when there is clear proof the 77 went directly in their pocket on their invoice system. Total scam artists.

The company hast created an account based on my E-mail adress by themselves and charged my Paypal account multiple times. The customer service (via Messenger) is rude and uses swear words. A company E-mail does not exist. Information by phone is charged extra and very expensive. They are violaating the data privacy act by refusing to give information about the personal data they are using from you. They claim the Paypal was hacked, while Paypal tells otherwise. A lawsuit has been filed.

Purchased a Christmas gift. 6 days over their 14 day return period and can’t exchange. Son has received same gift from two people and they don’t offer extended Christmas returns. Told me to tell other person to take theirs back and also reported my review ok trust pilot to try prevent it showing.
