We simply never got our food and I have no idea what even happened to it, to be honest. Courier said they dropped it off but it wasn’t at our house or any surrounding houses (we went outside in the snow to check). Ended up having to go down to the store to reorder ourselves and pay for the same food twice. When we asked Skip for a refund, they refused and just referred us to terms of service. Absolutely dogshit service. Never using this app again.

I have never tried to get free food nor have I submitted false reviews to get skip credits. Apparently, however, I have had too many "negative experiences" to be given credits for the order I did not receive (which was almost $50) nor any future credits for orders that are incorrect or that I don't receive at all. "There is nothing further" that can be done, according to their chat bots. No response when asked for a record of all of these supposed problems I've been reimbursed for previously. I feel like I'm being accused of lying and theft. Highly disappointed and will not be ordering from them again and risk losing even more money when something like this happens, through no fault of my own, the customer.

Placed an order through Skip the Dishes. Started inquiring about an hour later as to what was happening with the order ad there was no communication from Skip the Dishes. Called the restaurant to see if they had the order, the restaurant said that Skip the Dishes had changed the order to a group order which delayed the order. Two hours later the food was delivered and left in the lobby of the apartment building instead of to the apt. We waited 2 hours for cold food. Unbelievable! Save yourself the aggravation, skip,'Skip the Dishes,'!

I ordered pizza today and the driver went to the wrong address and left my food there and skipe the dishes only refused half of my money.

Skip the Dish delivery used to be ok, but have significantly went downhill. I am not sure what the scam is or why they are not rectifying couriers incompetences, but they have repeatedly screwed up orders. It will take almost 2 hours to receive your order, It will show that your food was delivered and not be there or when you go to get your order only part of it is there like a small salad and the entrees are missing. When you contact Skip the Dishes (by chat only!) they say they can’t send the courier back so you don’t get to eat that night. They offer a refund within 5-10 business days and even then I had to chat with 2 different people to get the right amount refunded. The first skip the dishes represented only refunded half my order than left the chat. I was a total of 2 hours trying to rectify it. Never again! You lost my business.

These pathetic losers deserve negative stars and to watch their business go bankrupt. Too many orders being delivered to the wrong place and when it does manage, by some grace of god, to actually make it to the right place, its 45 mins late and cold af. Also quit hiring illegals....Skip the dishes is like meth. Not even once.

First time using the app. No food arrived. Party ruined, people left hungry and many from out of town with a massive drive ahead of them. I was so embarrassed. All the communication said that the food was on its way, the driver called and hung up right away. Then texted to say it arrived. Such a frustrating experience. Zero stars. The worst customer service. When we went to dispute the charge I realized that they had given me the phone number for door dash, who didn't have any of our information. Absolute crooks. I feel really bad for the small independent restaurants that use this service, they cannot afford the mistakes made by these drivers.

I placed an order tonight, after 40 minutes I received an e-mail that my order had been cancelled, with no other explanation. Jess D from Skip, the person I followed up with on chat, told me it was the restaurant's fault and that the money Skip took from my account in 10 seconds would be returned to me in 10 business days. Jess D also ended the chat in the middle of our dispute. This was my experience tonight with Skip, just so you know.

The driver said he left my food OUTSIDE of my building because he said my buzzer wasn't working. I looked on the security camera and there was no driver, no delivery. Not even a phone call that he had arrived. I think he stole my food.

Tonight will be my last. ordered a meal from Harveys and it showed up ice cold. Temperatures may vary is all customer service said and denied any type of reimbursement. Ive never been treated this way by skip before. May have just been one super ignorant agent but its 100% unacceptable. Having done delivery before, I know for a fact they either didnt use a thermal bag or left my order on board while delivering others.

My luck with SkipTheDishes became an ongoing joke at work. I'd tell my coworkers what I ordered the night before, and they'd guess what I really got. I would usually just give a review saying my order was wrong, and tell the app what I actually got. The only time I ever asked for a refund was when my account was hacked and someone in another province used it. If I was missing part of an order, they usually issued me a partial credit to use next time. Well today my order from 711 was totally wrong. I got the wrong flavors of canned drinks, my cheese dogs with onions were plain, my crispy wedges were a pile of mushy potatoes, and the drink holder for our Big Gulps was broken so the fell in my lobby when they were delivered. Again, I didn't ask for a refund and I even reordered my Big Gulps myself. I just wanted them to know the order was wrong, and that this is not the first time this location didn't put toppings on my hotdogs. Instead of just saying "sorry, we'll see whats going on with the toppings there so we can adjust the menu if needed", they said that because I had issues with orders in the past and got refunds they weren't going to give me one now or ever again. I uninstalled the app as soon as the replacement Big Gulps I ordered and paid for arrived.

Horrible service. Watched the driver go everywhere but to my house to deliver. Made a complaint amd then he left our food with bag wide open. Gross. Cancelled my skip account and months later found fraudulent charges on my credit card. Bunch of criminals. Beware. Don’t use skip the dishes.

We ordered $102.00 meal through skip the dishes. It was my first time using the service. After an hour and several notices that the food was on its way, no food was delivered. I contacted the restaurant and the food had been picked up by the skip the dishes driver. When I contacted skip the dishes through chat they refused to refund my money to my card, offering “skip credit “ only. When I insisted the chat contact simply ended the chat. I continued to contact them through chat (4 times) until they finally did refund my money. I get that there are bad drivers who steal the food but a refund should be automatic when that happens. I’ll never use the service again.

My order was 2.75 hours late and I only received it because I kept chasing the company. The chat was unresponsive and I had to call in to customer service as the restaurant in order to get any assistance. No one answers the customer service line for customers. The restaurant had the order waiting and it became cold. I was offered $5 credit. They thought that was a reasonable compensation for my ruined family meal. If I could give zero stars I would do so.

Our first experience with Skip The dishes was a disaster. If they had a Zero, that's what they would get! My husband and I are 75 years old and completely immobile. We were celebrating our 56-Wedding Anniversary and because of our physical issues we thought we would order out and have it delivered. The "Skip the Dishes" site didn't work AT ALL! The "Canadian Brewhouse" has no phone number on their site to contact them and "The Atlantic Kitchen" couldn't care less about our difficulties in having their food delivered. First- and last-time using Skip.

Either the delivery driver or the restaraunt took a bite out if one of the timbits and out it back in the box. Skip offered to refund only 50%. My kids were unable to eat 100% and they really think that's a fair compensation. Horrible customer service and zero care for customer complaints. I will NEVER use them again and they lost a regular customer
