Cancelled my broadband order with no explanation, but left the switching process open- which means I can’t take out a deal with any other provider. After multiple horrific contacts with their customer support (and I mean truly horrific) they don’t know how to solve things, so I am left in limbo. AVOID!

Disappointed with Sky Broadband's Handling of billing and my House Move I was assured by Sky Broadband that my house move would not affect or change my bill. However, after moving, I noticed my bill had increased. I contacted customer support several times and was told that my complaint was valid, the increase was a mistake on their end or I was given incorrect information during the move. They confirmed my complaint and said it was being processed, but it’s been nearly two months now with no resolution or update. Meanwhile, Sky continues to deduct the higher amount via direct debit every month. Every time I call, I’m just told “it’s still in progress” with no clear timeframe or accountability. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I expected better communication and quicker resolution from a company of this size.

The worse experience I could have had literally from 8 minutes in to my sky business contract they have failed my small business no phone line or internet for just under 2 weeks then when you do get it up and running they put a answer phone that you can’t access and a call forwarding service that you can’t use due to more “technical” faults customer services are always very polite unless you ring after 5.30pm then it’s goes properly down hill! They just pass you around to different departments promising calls back from management or “technical leads” but that never happens. They don’t actually have the ability to say actual this is our fault let’s sort it out it’s always someone else’s fault or it’s because open reach or talktalk need to do something. When your complaint finally does get properly addressed then you will never have a phone call again but the emails will start and that’s the only way that they will communicate with you but the reply’s take 24 to 48 hours. If your small business needs a phone line or internet to take calls or take payments DO NOT use sky business it’s been awful

The worst decision I ever made was to give Sky a second chance as they are worse than before and more irritating than before with promises they don’t keep and leave you feeling used, can’t wait to get out of this dreadful 2 year contract.

Worst internet and customer service ever. Almost a year of buffering slowly loading browsers an cutting off internet and engineering investigation. In the end they said we can't do anything to your line after recieving almost 500 pounds and before 1 month of my contract end they emailing saying you can exit the service without charges then they have deducted the last month fees. What a fruad !? I opened an internal complaint to investigate then they closed it without coming back to me saying you can complain some where else!!!?

We’ve had no internet since 15th May and have contacted Sky countless times. Despite promises of engineers, nothing has been fixed. Not once did anyone check if the issue was resolved. On 28th May, I had surgery and needed my partner to pick me up. Instead, they stayed home because Sky warned we’d be charged £50 if we missed an engineer visit. No one showed up—and we weren’t even told the appointment was moved. Now the issue is “escalated,” but that means nothing without accountability. This has been an appalling lack of service, communication, and care. Sky, do better.

Spent 5 hours and over a dozen calls over the course of 5 working days trying to arrange a new engineer appointment which Sky were incapable of doing. Worst service I have ever recieved from a company and had to cancel before anything was installed as they wasted so much of my time without ever resolving anything. They don't care about customer service at all.

There is no point for you to use them. There is no customer service, only robots and AI.

2nd time of ringing about our skyq bill today's call 2 hours absolute waste of time. So they either call us back tomorrow with answers or we will cancel the account

Broadband was working until a few months ago, constant drop offs and kept having to disconnect and connect. Customer service refused to help and send an engineer out as the checks on their side seemed fine, I advised them it was due to then automating the settings for the WiFi in the router but they still couldn't help unless I paid £10 a month for their premium service. I moved to EE and it's been fantastic no drop offs great speed too

Stay well away from Sky broadband, we contacted them to take over our broadband after problems with another company, they happily agreed to take us as a customer and then when there was an issue with setting up the order they just repeated the same resolution 4 times, instead of actually fixing the problem causing the issue, i have had to spend 6+ hours on the phone in the past 10 days to fix the issue myself, they don't call back when they say (if at all) including managers, have lied to me, are in no way sympathetic to the stress they have caused, have been rude and now after 10 days have told me their solution is to just cancel our order completely meaning we will have no supplier in about 2 weeks.

The internet speed was far below what was promised. There’s no direct access to the router—you’re forced to use their app to manage it. Additionally, you can’t switch to a WPA2 security certificate, making it impossible to connect Android devices to Wi-Fi. Customer service is non-existent; there’s no way to call them, only a chatbot that parrots FAQ responses. When I finally reached them via email after a week of waiting, I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested to cancel the service. Despite sending my cancellation email just six days after installation, they replied 17 days later, claiming I would have to pay £146 for early termination. Unacceptable. Paid, and forgot about them.

Absolute joke, the New Sky Max hub DOESN'T WORK WITH SKY Q. Totally ridiculous situation, the tech helplines and visiting engineers advise the WPS button on the. Max hub won't work reliably and drops connection, but the password ALSO drops connection, 90% of the time the Sky Q box to Sky Max hub has failed and WON'T CONNECT. Have to manually input the password on the dreadful Sky wheel of misfortune scrolling alphabet. 2 Sky products that DON'T WORK TOGETHER. Go to BT or ANYONE ELSE. 0 Star rating

The same complaints as the other reviewers. The broadband is inadequate, they charge you for things they don't deliver, and have appalling customer service. The worst part has been trying to cancel. As another reviewer says, they keep charging you for things. When confronted they throw the responsibility around and solve nothing. We've had this ongoing issue for months, they keep charging us, and we haven't been able to do anything about it. Please avoid.

Contract cancelled 2nd Nov 23 & moved to Plusnet due to Sky increasing charges. Payments taken by Sky for Nov & Dec 23 totalling c £90 - refund requested - ignored. Debt collectors set on me Feb 24, harrassed daily, UNBELIEVABLE. Complaint put in writing Feb 24 - again ignored. Made contact several times to advise Sky owe me, to stop debt collectors and repay me c£90. Spoke again 3 weeks ago promised my bank account would be credited in 7 to 10 days, verbal apology and advised there had been a systems error!! Rang again yesterday to find out where my money is, advised someone would phone me back in 5 mins. No one rang me back, instead SKY have taken a FURTHER £194 from my bank account today !! I rang this morning spoke to another 3 people explaining. Said I wasn't leaving call until my account refunded with c £300 owed....I was told I have to put an indemnity claim to my bank. ??? Bottom line is this is THEFT by SKY. I have zero confidence I am told I will get a phone call back and a complaint lodged. I have wasted hours speaking to polite but ineffective useless staff. SKY CEO & DIRECTORS GET A GRIP OF YOUR BUSINESS IT IS A COMPLETE SHAMBLES. IT TOOK YOU LESS THAN 24HOURS TO TAKE A FURTHER £194 FRAUDULENTLY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT YET YOU CANNOT REPAY ME . WHAT IS POINT OF RECORDING ALL YOUR CALLS IF NO ONE LEARNS FROM MISTAKES. SOMEONE NEEDS TO LISTEN TO ALL MY CALLS AND READ MY EMAILS.

No broadband service from June to September 2024. I was told by sky I am in a contract. I have been paying for the past 4 months with no broadband internet service. Sky blames OPEN REACH for fibre issues. Please do not use sky. They lie about everything. Unfortunately, I have another account with them. When my contract ends on 14 November 2025 I will terminate both accounts. Poor service. Please don't make the same mistake. In the past they were good. Now it's the worst service ever.
