“I really like the watch. The metronome feature is great and the watch face stays on well and doesn't seem like it will fall off. The text message feature is okay. It would be nice if you could use the scroller to scroll through the text message if it's too long to fit on the screen and don't have to wait for it to automatically scroll. Other than that, it's a great watch.”
“It worked great for awhile but the vibration feature stopped working correctly. The dial and lights work but the vibration only works sometimes and often it's completely out of sync with the app and the flashing lights.
I've contacted support several times and they haven't been helpful at all. I definitely do not recommend this product.”
“I love the features for musicians. The tuner is great and I love how you can quickly remove the watch from your wrist and attach to the guitar to tune it. The metronome is great, but does take some getting used to.
As far as the smart watch features, I wish the font was a bit larger, especially the date and time.”
“Customer service is offshore and takes days to respond. They are curt and unapologetic for their delays. I wanted to cancel an order but there is no phone number to call to get a quicker response, and the product shipped before I got a response. Now I may be out of pocket for something that could've been easily avoided with a "Cancel Order" button or a phone number.

“I have problems keeping the Core paired to my Soundbrenner app on my IPhone. I have to go to Bluetooth and tell it to forget this app and then pair it again to the app. It works well as long as it stays paired.”
“I got the minuendo ear plugs. Shipping was fast. I really like how they have different tips and magnetic ends that way they stay on my neck. I'm actually a Dental hygienist and am using them to reduce noise while using suction, cavitron and sometimes drilling. It definitely takes the sharp sound away from the cavitron and suction. I can hear patients with them on as well. Also knowing the exact decibels that are being reduced makes me feel safe.”
“I use my 2022 Core Steel LE Soundbrenner on a daily basis. In just one month I significantly improved speed, accuracy, and coordination focusing on sound of the instrument, not the metronome. Metronome's vibration and lights get the job done. Tuner works beautifully. The app is great, used it once to change colors of the lights and to play with vibrations. Battery lasts long enough and charges fast. Keeping the device away from electric guitar's coils removes interference.”
“Right I so want to get on with this thing, I have the soundbrenner core, it’s a beautiful piece of kit, and I really like the concept. Iv been learning piano for almost 2 years now, and my timing is decent been producing music for 10 years also so been listening to music for a long time.
Iv been useing this watch now for a little while not so often but hear and there, because I can’t seem to get on with it, im getting a bit used to 1/4 beats with it, this seems to be easier, but I do loose time with it as I can’t feel the vibrations, I just seem to loose them then get lost. Stick my metronome on Ableton and im all good no problems.
Tried a few other rhythms example 1/8ths and the vibration is just to mushed together to get on with it.
Im gonna keep on trying to use it as I’d rather use vibration then listening to a metronome click. I’m kind of watching the flashing lights to help keep time.
The app is good I like the metronome on that as you can get all your subdivisions and stuff.
Just wish you would put an option for 1/8ths 1/6ths triplets etc, instead of the notations or an option to switch between the two.
So for now it’s 3 stars as it is a great concept just I can’t get on with it because it needs to vibrate more for me. But other people might like it.”
“I'm learning piano and just could not get on with a traditional metronome, or for that matter a flashing light. Both distracted me from the music. I like wearing Soundbrenner and feeling the beat is helping me no end. It's not cheap, but for me it was worth every penny.”

“Shipped fast. Best pricing I saw and the product is fantastic. As far as I know their best-selling product is the Pulse and Core metronome and I love it. Highly recommend them no issues. This product is really solving a hard issue I have struggled with where the sound based metronomes ultimately distract me. This was perfect for my needs which it vibrates. At first I figured I would use my Apple watch. Tried a bunch of apps but they all had weird issues or wouldn't work while the screen was off. The Core Steel I got works anywhere on my body. I sometimes have it on my leg or on my wrist. Depends on what I want to do. And it is a complete package. You get all the straps and accessories in the box. It can function as a rather limited watch too (and it gets notifications) just a nice simple complete package.”
“I bought the Soundbrenner Core Steel Limited Edition after trying Soundbrenner Pulse which is borrowed from my friend. The Core is definitely much pretty and more useful than the Pulse, I can easily change configuration and see it clearly. “Soundbrenner is a class act in every way.. From being patient (with me) to being candid about possible delays. I ordered it 2weeks before Christmas when getting on line presents was taking a chance that it might not be delivered in time with the internet being inundated with orders. Soundbrenner was always in touch with me throughout my order and I got my delivery as expected while other people around me were not sure if their orders from other companies weren’t getting any feed back about the whereabouts of their order. Again, A class act which delivered in a timely manner. Thankyou, my sons Christmas wasn’t a disappointment!”
“My son received this as a Christmas present and used his watch daily. He quite liked it, however the plastic bracelet attachment broke off and he no longer can wear it. As this is still under warranty we have tried to contact the company to get a replacement. Three attempts at contacting the company and we have been completely ignored. The product is good. However the company’s customer service is terrible and they don’t seem to stand by their warranty.”

Due to COVID restrictions, I was unable to try these within the 30-day return policy. I finally was able to try after 60 days. Emailed support to ask if I could return for a refund due to the pandemic restrictions. They refused. These are guaranteed for 5 years.
Very disappointed in this company and their lack of compassion.”
“It seems like a nice invention at first glance, but I didn't buy it because I play the violin and I know that in order to achieve a good sound, the muscles in your arms, wrists and hands have to be relaxed and loose. The vibrations from the metronome on your arm or wrist would cause the muscles in your whole body to tense up due to the (unexpected) buzz, causing an uneven sound from both the left and the right arm, wrist and hand.
I suppose it could work better for other instruments but if thought through, I don't think it is the right thing for violinists.”
“This almost burnt my house down! I had been interested in this, especially during the pandemic when i had more time to play my guitar. I was gifted it for x-mas. The first charging cord was defective. The company made me take multiple videos demonsting my trouble shooting over several weeks and slow responses. finally they agreed to send me a new charging cord but that was it. By the time i recived the cord several months had passed since receiving the watch. the cord did charge the watch and i was finally able to use it. I had started working again and was using it very little. The 3rd or 4th time i wanted to use it, it was dead and i went to plug it in... Im doing some house work and getting ready to leave for a while but I keep smelling burning. Im walking around the house inside and out(windows were open) . I pin point where the smell is strongest and I find the soundbrenner charger cord on the ground melted off from where it was plugged in! the usb insert side of the cord still in the base smoking so furiously I can't actually see it! I rip it from the wall and run it outside! I'm super thankful I smelled it and figured it out before leaving my home to be burnt down. Soundbrenner has offered no info other than the offer of a new cord again. No thanks, I dont actually want to burn my house down. I should add that the few times I used it the watch it felt pretty primitive to other modern watches. But don't buy this unless you're into burning your home/practice space down. Also be willing to not use it for months at a time because the customer service is bad.”
