“Really torn about this dress because it’s really cute and fits well. However the quality of the sewing and sequins is not well done at all. Taking away 3 stars just for that. Ordered a M and L and both fit well. Both of the inner lining of were sewn inside out. Both dresses strips of sequins were missing and sewn lopsided or sideways. It was like a project for someone who was learning how to sew. But on the plus side it’s an easy fit with elastic waist and got a lot of compliments. sFC customer service superb when alerted of the issues.”

“I have made two purchases from this company. boots that did not fit, but I was given an immediate refund even though they were on clearance. I also just purchased a duffle bag that was quite expensive but is very nice and in an incredible pattern. I look at the site often and love what they offer and my experiences have been pretty good. My 3 out of 5 stars have to do with my being a plus size woman, and the company claiming to be size inclusive but offering really only extended straight sizes and only going to a size 20, which per measurement is more like a 16/18 women's or plus. I want to support you and would be buying much more than I have, but I struggle to give any companites that don't value me any money. And not carrying sizes I can wear is a sign that I'm not a valued customer. Southern Fried Chics certainly isn't alone, as the majority of fashion retailers big and small, don't carry sizes for me or other plus size women. It's just a sad thing. I think this company has a more unique aesthetic and point of view, and frankly are leaving money on the table. But the accessories are great.”

“I normally love everything about SFC from their clothes to customer service. I have been a bit disappointed this time around as the last three pairs of jeans I have purchased, each of them had something go wrong. With full disclosure I’m right at 6’ size 18 and have the curvy thighs, so my thighs do touch 😕 but my first pair I had not even six months, they ripped in the thighs. Still loved the jeans as it’s hard to find distressed flare jeans and that’s all I wear. So I bought two more pairs to try and the black jeans I bought, the zipper won’t stay up 😳 and the star jeans after only three wears they ripped in the thighs. I had tried to reach out numerous times and this time no response. I did buy a replacement on the star jeans because they are too cute not to have and another pair of their jeans, but bought jean patches to to and place on the inside of the jeans for extra durability. Fingers crossed. Just sad this time around and may have to look to another boutique for clothes like SFC.”
