“Everything I've ever bought from sports direct has been substandard. Sizing is atrocious, a large is more like a children's size or made for a giant. And because of the returns charge, I end up giving my purchase to the nearest midget or giant rather than sending it back.”

“I was satisfied with everything other than the skipping rope and resistance band. After an hour of skipping, both handles fell off. The resistance band is not useful as it rolls up and cuts into your leg when trying to use it for squats.”

“part of my order was wrong,so sent back at a cost of £14.94p the part of the order that was wrong,still got one item, missing from order,am not happy with sports direct,some of the items they payment for,was supposed to be refunded,1 month on,still waiting for refund,one parcel was just thrown in the garden by the courier,in the teaming rain,couldnt be bothered knocking on door,my neighbour saw it,and phoned me to let me know”

“I have always shopped at my local sports direct but due to the pandemic, I cannot so thought I would still support and shop online. Having to pay postage when my order was well over £300 I thought was extremely odd as all other companies give you free postage when your order is over a certain amount but nonetheless I still paid it. What was really disappointing is that a few items didn’t fit, where I would normally take the items back to the store, the same as I would do with any other high-street retail but again due to the new lockdown rules they aren’t open so having to send it back via post. This is where I was disgusted, I had to pay £13.14 for my items to be returned as they didn’t fit and didn’t match the description online. This is due to the package being too heavy and larger than a standard parcel due to the size of the items I had to return. Just to also compare this to JD sports that they don’t charge postage for deliveries over I think it's about £70 and for a return they charge just £2.50 for any sized parcel, because of this I will definitely shop with them again as I don’t have that fear of if the items don’t fit I won't be charged a ridiculous amount for it to be returned when I would normally take it back to the store and it would charge me nothing. Even if the amount you pay for a return was used as a credit towards a future order would be better than nothing This has now just left me sour and I shall look elsewhere to buy anything I need in the future. “Absolutely disgusting 'service'. Didn't send all of the products I ordered and refused to complete the order. Therefore, Sports Direct stole £35 from me. The rudest customer service I have ever encountered. Will NEVER use again! Gave one star as not allowed to give zero stars.”

“Parcel was not delivered and was told I would have to wait 5 to 7 days to raise with delivery company. I sent picture of supposed delivery which clearly showed the parcel just being held outside of delivery van which did not make a difference I was still told I would need to wait. Daughter did not get her presents for her birthday as a result”
