“I paid for next day delivery and it was confirmed at the time of checkout. However it didn’t arrived next day. I would have expected that as sportsdirect were aware of this as they sent me an email to say it was delayed I have have received a refund on the delivery, as the delivery service I paid for wasn’t fulfilled. However so far I still haven’t received a refund. Given that the order wasn’t processed until 2 days after the order it was never going to get to me next day”

“I ordered snooker balls for a Christmas present. The packaging was broken prior to posting and the cue ball was missing. It did not say this in the item description. I ordered an additional cue ball from elsewhere but it did not arrive in time. From previous attempts to contact Sports Direct customer service I do not have high expectations that this will ever be looked at so I didn’t bother to report it.”

“Ordered my daughter gifts for her birthday on the 10th of December Ordered the 24 th of November I couldn't even pass them on as a Christmas gift They arrived 31st of December some packages open inside. Half of the order missing Never ever ever go near these jokers again They had the cheek to send me marketing emails and texts on Christmas week about how it's still not too late to get in my last few christmas orders and they still couldn't fulfill an order from December Disgusted with sports direct”

“Awful experience!! Ordered 2 pairs of cycling trainers by mistake for next day delivery but didn't get confirmation on one pair for when they would be delivered but did the other pair. I have been charged twice and only received one pair. I have had a few emails back from sports direct but the matter hasn't been sorted at all. I'm sending the trainers back today as I'm not happy with how this matter has been dealt with and will claim the money back through my bank for other pair as sports direct havent helped at all!!”

“Sto scrivendo questa recensione nonostante stia ancora aspettando la consegna degli articoli ordinati più di 15gg fa. Mi è stato comunicato solo adesso che il pacco forse arriverà il 4, praticamente più di 20 giorni dopo aver effettuato ordine e pagamento. Non è accettabile pagare 15€ di spese di spedizione per un servizio così scadente!”

“In the end we ended up with everything we ordered just in time for Christmas, but it was an anxious wait as automated email in response to inquiries that stated that parcels are ready for dispatch and awaiting courses pick up resulted in another month of nothing happening. It would have been useful to just having been told that the item won’t be available for dispatch until shortly before Christmas. Instead, repeated inquiry about when the order might arrive was completely ignored! Very stressful! Especially as I ordered the skateboards in the beginning of November to avoid the situation I found myself in in the end!”

“Due to last minute government changes we had to order next day online. Cannot fault the speed of the turn around of the order next day which arrived on Xmas eve. The price for the delivery was £8 and although I would never usually pay this amount I can say it was well worth it for peace of mind. The trainers were lovely and so stylish with the rose gold - well done sports direct. I did go off buying from you due to the returns policy and the delivery to store policy but this order and service has won me around thank you for making someone’s Xmas a good one after such a difficult time.”
