“Fast shipment, all ok!”

“I wanted to buy a pair of football boots for my grandson which I had to order online and pay postage and packaging £5.00 because the store did not have his size (junior 2.5), the warehouse did! Unfortunately this size did not fit. Turns out he needed size 3.5 which costs more which I accept, the store offered me a credit note, excluding the £5.00 and told me that I had to order online again because the warehouse had the stock and not in the store. This meant I had to pay another £5.00 but I could have them done as click and collect item. This to me seemed unreasonable when the warehouse had the stock both times but it has cost me and extra £10.00. I was even told that if the items were faulty, I still would have not received my postage and packaging costs back.”

“Ordered tracksuit online in age 5-6, far too small for my small and tiny 5 year old (she normally wears age 4), looks like it would fit 3 year old at best. Wouldn’t be a problem with any other company as could return to store for full refund however Sports Direct will not accept store returns. I have had to pay postage of £5 to return (on top of already paying £5 delivery). I could perhaps understand not offering free returns if someone simply changes their mind but when the product is not fit for purpose this is disgusting. Absolute rip off.”

“Terrible. I tried to cancel an order literally minutes after ordering it. I was advised that once orders and placed they cannot be cancelled. So I had to pay for delivery and then pay postage to return it. I will never shop with sports direct again.”

“I will never order from them again. They managed to lose my order three times in transit. Customer service is long winded so had to spend a lot of time trying to contact them. After this they just cancelled my order even though I told them I wanted it delivered The worst customer service I have ever come across”
