“the weymouth branch would not refund me for a pair of shoes we'd bought. they were pristine when i returned them, but i could only get a credit note. this appears to be within the letter of the law, but is appalling customer service, and i will not be shopping there again.”

“No issues with Sports Direct however your shipping leaves MUCH to be desired. Still waiting for my order to arrive. Using the cheapest method of shipping with Hermes is just poor, 3 to 7 working days?! That is a week and a half! Def last time I will be ordering if this is what is used. And charging the same amount to collect from a store? Taking the mickey a little”

“I have still not received my order. Your courier (Hermes) keeps changing delivery dates and times, and even informed me that they I ‘missed’ a delivery even though the shole family was home. I checked my CCTV to confirm no delivery was attempted. Terrible service so far!”

“Ordered size 9. Box came with size 9 on it, but size 8 inside. Then couldn’t get chat function to work. Left hanging. Will have to send back and wait for stock to come in.”

“Paid for a retro itsli 90 england shirt with19 printed on the rear for £39.99, plain shirt turned up and which is only £29.99 and i am struggling to get the refund, no one at sports direct will get back to me, even went in store and they couldn’t help, disgusting customer service, will take my business elsewhere in future”

“AVOID buying anything online with this shop never had so much hassle they sent me to odd sizes and wouldn’t let me exchange them in store I had paid 4.99 to just get them delivered to store then pay Hermes to take them back still no refund after 24 days”

“Bought as a present for my daughter, arrived very quickly. Pretty pale pink Sketchers. Just wonder why having the parcel delivered to store is the same price as having delivered to your home as for the majority of companies it’s free.”

“Quick delivery however a bit disappointed at having to pay £4.99 postage and to then not have a free return label so had to pay another £3.50 to return one pair of shoes I didn’t want to keep !”

“Poor- paid £7.99 for next day delivery and it was late. Order was placed in time yet did not arrive at the courier to be dispatched. Needed the equipment and ordered it from this company to get it at the right time, failed to meet expectations. I'm sure sports direct will blame Hermes of course.”
