“I ordered a few dresses to try for a wedding where I am a bridesmaid . I had read the returns policy on stacees so ordered one from there. Once it arrived it was slightly the wrong shade that we wanted so I instantly went online to try and return it. This is where the trouble begins. It is impossible to return anything to this company. After raising a ticket I did not hear a response for about 4 days. When I finally did. I got asked to send over photos of the dress, I found this strange but did so. I have since heard nothing. I have contacted them on live chat numerous times and fobbed off everytime. I’m currently stuck with a £100 dress that I do not need and will never wear. The whole service is the worst iv ever experienced and let’s face it just a massive scam to steal peoples money. If you are reading this and thinking of buying anything from this site. Don’t do it. I am going to take it further but I assume by the looks of the reviews they get this happens a lot and they really don’t care much.”

“I ordered dresses for the bridesmaids in my wedding and paid £86 for garaunteed expedited delivery to ensure they arrived on time. I contacted customer services prior to placing my order to check they would come, during the delivery process to check things were on track, and on the final/latest day my dresses were supposed to be delivered. Each time they said the dresses would be delivered on time. They were late. The company even gave me a delivery window that I later found out was made up, as when I spoke with the delivery company they said they have no contact with the delivery service in this capacity. As a result I had no dresses for my bridesmaids the day before my wedding. I had to buy new ones from a local shop which was very stressful and expensive the day before the wedding. Worse yet, when explaining this to their customer service team they refused to refund me and let me return the dresses, despite me putting in the request to do so within the 14 day returns window. I had double checked with the company before ordering that the standard size dresses I had ordered would be eligible for return if we didn't like them when they arrived and they had reassured me it would be fine. When I contacted them they just pretended not to understand that I had requested a return and offered me £29 compensation for my order that cost over £700 with no return or refund. They finally stopped responding to me with no resolution or explanation. To be honest, the dresses (once they arrived) were actually good quality. But I will never order from this company again and warn you against doing so unless you are confident you won't need to return anything and don't have a deadline for delivery. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am having to follow up my claim with my credit card company and will be hiring a solicitor to help me with my case.”

“I started a return ticket 2 days after receiving the dress but I am now 3 weeks later and they will not send the info. They send every 'credit' to keep it but will not send the return information. I am at least on attempt 10 to get the info. A total scam on the return. I would give them no stars if it was possible.”

“Do not order from here. The advertisement of their dresses is totally misleading. Make it extremely difficult to return and get a refund when items are terrible quality, still trying 3 weeks down the line. Disgusting customer service, please do not order from here they are a scam.”

“I wouldn’t even give this company one star. DO NOT purchase goods from this company if there is a chance that you will need an exchange or refund. I purchased a dress for my son’s wedding and when it arrived it was marked and the sequins were hanging by their threads. Despite their advertised conditions for return of defective/faulty goods, they have made it clear that they don’t want me to return the dress (highlighting high postage costs and the unreliability of the postal service, and not even giving me the return address). They are falsely advertising their returns/refund policy on their website. After many emails since 21.08.23, they are currently offering me a refund of £65 for the dress that cost £120, which I’m obviously not willing to accept. As they are in breach of the sale of goods ordinance, I will be taking this matter further.”

“Wouldn’t give even one star review.They sent wrong dress size and will not give refund.SCAMMERS Do not trust Stacees after months of back and forth still no resolution and they refuse to allow a refund and use every excuse going.They use cheap materials and the dresses are nothing like the pictures or videos Do Not Buy From Stacees BUYERS REGRET!!!!”

“Scam company, contacted before ordering and was told hassle free returns, I paid £140 and they are offering me £30, i am a 14-16 and ordered an 18, it’s absolutely tiny I WANT A FULL REFUND”

“States in their terms that they will issue you a refund with damadged items yet they refuse to send you a returns address! They constantly ignore every email I have sent them except for 1 asking me to cut the damadged bits off and it will make it look better 😡. Just send me the returns address and issue me my refund!”

“DONT BUY I bought a dress in two different sizes for an upcoming event so I wouldn’t have to worry about have to send the dress back and wait for a different size if it didn’t fit. I spent $300 on two dresses and I ended up not liking the dress on me at all. Before I purchased from this store, it said they offer refunds that they pay for return shipping. I requested the return and they are insisting on having me get a new dress from them or the offered to refund me $30 back. No not the full amount I paid. $30. So now I’m two weeks away from my event and $300 short and still need a dress that’ll cost me another couple hundred dollars. This is a scam store. Do not trust their return policy”

“My dress was white rather than ivory which was ordered ... The arm holes are too small so the dress pulls and hurts.. they sent it early while I was on holiday so will not let me return it. I wouldn't want anyone to have such bad experiences in the future. You will lose all your money.”

“Do not! I mean do not order from here! My dress is 10 shades lighter than pictured & 3 in too short! Looks nothing as pictured! I've been speaking to someone for over a week and get no where! They blame it on lighting instead of taking accountability for their mistake! And on top of me sending pictures as proof they offered me $20 compensation! What a joke for a $165 dress!”

“Pretty much what everyone else is saying. They are SCAM artists. They are FRAUDSTERS. I ordered a regular sized dress so it would be returnable. They requested my measurements, which I thought was odd, but didn't question. I should have, because when I got the dress, they slapped a custom size tag on it and now refuses to allow me to return it. Any decent company would provide a return label without questions. They're asking for pics of me in the dress.... how creepy is that???? I'm reading down below that they make the customer pay for return (wow, someone actually got them to accept a return?) And it's not guaranteed that they'll get it or refund the $? Why is this company allowed to do business in the US or UK? I am and I would suggest everyone call the fraud department at your CC company.”
