“They are awful. Don't expect to be able to return or get money back. DO NOT ORDER. They will send random emails offering to give you $25 for the dress to keep from the $180+ you pay. Also they won't pay shipping. And they only will give you 70% of the dresses.”

“ZERO STARS. This company is a complete joke. I had my sister order bridesmaid's dresses for my wedding from Stacees and when they came they did not fit (she ordered two different sizes just in case). Upon trying to initiate a return, the representative she spoke with was INCREDIBLY unprofessional and rude. They are basically refusing to return the dresses, told her that it is "normal" for the dresses to "not fit right," and are trying to charge her a bunch of money to ship them back. The lady she was speaking to said something along the lines of "What a shame, it is a beautiful dress. You should keep the dresses and see if you can sell it to someone else." What kind of BS is that? Then, they told her to keep both dresses and they would make and send her a new dress. All she wants is to return the dresses but apparently that is impossible unless she wants to spend an arm and a leg to ship them back. NO WHERE in their policy does it say that returns cannot be completed. And they are refusing to refund her. My bridesmaid's and I had to change dress plans at the last minute because of this. Then they asked her to send photos of her wearing the dress! Its absolutely ridiculous. This has been ongoing for about three weeks now. This place is unprofessional, rude, and quite frankly a SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Especially if may have to return it, since apparently it is standard for their dresses to "Not fit right." What a joke. This place should not be in business, they are stealing from their customers after selling them horrible, low quality products. Absolute disgrace”

“DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER. THEIR RETURN POLICY IS SHAM. We purchased a standard size dress (no special altering requested). It arrived, and while attractive, did not fit well. I opened a ticket to request a return (unworn/tags still on), and they have been completely unwilling to return the dress. Every step is a new tactic to stall from refunding. They have offered me $10 to alter the dress (which is a joke), the a discount to buy a new one, etc. Most recently they told me that returning the dress would take a long time and they offered me a $15 refund for a dress we spent over $100 on. DO NOT purchase from them.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! unfortunately I didn’t do enough research before buying a bridesmaid dress from here, ended up in the same mess as all other negative reviews with a dress that doesn’t fit and the company has failed to agree to a refund. They are claiming not to resell any of the dresses that are returned (I am sure this is an absolute lie) even the standard sizes. They offer ridiculous amounts for you to keep the dress (£5 on my £65 order) and after a week I’m still no further forward and so far have no refund and have a dress I don’t want. Absolute scammers, unless you are certain you will keep the item no matter what then don’t buy from here!”

“This company is absolute the worst without a lie stay away. I ordered a dress followed their sizing directions. The dress came. The only thing suitable was the color. The top was too tight and the hips were about 4 inches wider. It was also too long. This dress is not salvageable in anyway. I have filed for a refund and have gotten the total runaround. I followed their directions for a refund and return. They have given me two ticket numbers for return, but no one follows up. I believe that they’re hoping that I’ll get good and tired and just give up and they can keep my $130. I have threatened to go to PayPal and file a complaint for my money. I also said I would just throw the dress in the garbage because it isn’t even good enough to donate to a thrift store. This company is nothing but a bunch crooks. I cannot warn you enough to stay away from this company.”

“Absolute scammers. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Stacees will not honour a full refund and make it impossible to send goods back. You will not be able to return your items and will not see your money again. Although they are called Stacees.co.uk and look like a UK company, they are not. When I contacted them about returning items that didn't fit, they said it wouldn't be possible as the fees for international shipping plus customs charges would make it impossible. They offered me a refund of ridiculous amounts, like £20, £30, £40, for dresses that cost £206. Absolutely disgusting. Unethical business model and zero moral compass. I would avoid Stacees like the plague.”

“I ordered my wedding dress from Stacees via Clearpay, and what I received was nothing like the description or photos. The material is cheap and see-through, the fit is completely wrong due to the seller misunderstanding my order details, and the dress is unwearable. Stacees refused a refund and offered only a 15% discount coupon, claiming they could no longer help because I opened a dispute with Clearpay. Clearpay closed my dispute without resolving the issue, leaving me to pay for a faulty item in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I have now had to buy another dress at short notice. I would advise others to avoid ordering from Stacees and be cautious when using Clearpay for purchases where you might need protection. Just look at the state of this dress! They sold me a lie and I want my money back!!!”

“I would give this company no stars if I could. I ordered a dress for a wedding and unfortunately could not use it. When I attempted to return it, the company gave me the runaround about the return process and wouldn’t give me a clear return address for quite some time. Eventually, they provided an address—but failed to mention it was in China, something that’s nowhere clearly stated on their website. They also refused to issue a full refund and emphasized that return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, despite offering no transparency about the true cost. When I went to ship it back through UPS, I was quoted $300–$400 just to return a $100 dress ($120 with shipping included). Absolutely outrageous. This feels deceptive and dishonest. Be extremely cautious before purchasing anything from them—especially if you think there’s even a slight chance you’ll need to return it. There are far better companies out there that are upfront about their policies and don’t bury international return costs in the fine print.”

“A critical note for potential buyers: I was misled by the 5-star reviews and thought I could trust ordering from them. But when I tried to leave a review on stacees.com, their system kept switching it to 5 stars, even though I selected 1star (unfortunately can’t give 0) I gave up trying. Their ratings are clearly misleading. Read the reviews carefully—don’t be fooled by false ratings. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. My experience with this merchant was an absolute disaster and a complete waste of my time and money. The dress arrived with an uneven, gaping hole in the keyhole at the back—it was completely unwearable and clearly defective. For a custom-fit dress, this was absolutely unacceptable. What’s worse is the way customer service handled it: I sent multiple photos showing the issue, and instead of taking responsibility, they gave me the runaround and ultimately refused to accept a return. Their attitude was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional (John handled the majority of my conversations). I’m appalled by the lack of accountability. This company clearly does not stand behind its products or value its customers. I never got to wear the dress because of the flaw, and they showed zero interest in making things right. If you’re considering ordering from them, I strongly advise you to think twice.”
