I would give this company no stars if I could. I ordered a dress for a wedding and unfortunately could not use it. When I attempted to return it, the company gave me the runaround about the return process and wouldn’t give me a clear return address for quite some time. Eventually, they provided an address—but failed to mention it was in China, something that’s nowhere clearly stated on their website. They also refused to issue a full refund and emphasized that return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, despite offering no transparency about the true cost. When I went to ship it back through UPS, I was quoted $300–$400 just to return a $100 dress ($120 with shipping included). Absolutely outrageous. This feels deceptive and dishonest. Be extremely cautious before purchasing anything from them—especially if you think there’s even a slight chance you’ll need to return it. There are far better companies out there that are upfront about their policies and don’t bury international return costs in the fine print.

Do not buy from this company. You basically can’t return item to get a refund and the refund is not the full amount. You have to pay the return costs to China. Basically save yourself the grief.

A critical note for potential buyers: I was misled by the 5-star reviews and thought I could trust ordering from them. But when I tried to leave a review on stacees.com, their system kept switching it to 5 stars, even though I selected 1star (unfortunately can’t give 0) I gave up trying. Their ratings are clearly misleading. Read the reviews carefully—don’t be fooled by false ratings. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. My experience with this merchant was an absolute disaster and a complete waste of my time and money. The dress arrived with an uneven, gaping hole in the keyhole at the back—it was completely unwearable and clearly defective. For a custom-fit dress, this was absolutely unacceptable. What’s worse is the way customer service handled it: I sent multiple photos showing the issue, and instead of taking responsibility, they gave me the runaround and ultimately refused to accept a return. Their attitude was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional (John handled the majority of my conversations). I’m appalled by the lack of accountability. This company clearly does not stand behind its products or value its customers. I never got to wear the dress because of the flaw, and they showed zero interest in making things right. If you’re considering ordering from them, I strongly advise you to think twice.

This company sent me two damaged prom dresses. Neither could be worn. They refused to work with me or offer any form of reconciliation. DO NOT PURCHASE A DRESS HERE!!!

Ordered a standard size dress which did not fit despite being meticulous about my measurements. After many customer service emails they agreed to give me a refund for about 60%. However shipping back to China would cost twice what I paid for the dress!

They lie and indicate “dresses ship in 48 hours.” I ordered one that took 4 weeks, it didn’t fit so I ordered a second and it NEBER ARRIVED!

Dresses do not fit and they are not honoring their return policy. I’m out $500+ and can’t afford to buy a dress that fits. No stars!! Required 1 star to make a comment. Stay away - do NOT order from them.

The dress didn't look as described. My daughter's prom was coming close so we held the dress just in case she didn't find one. She found one and i started the return process 15 days after receiving the dress. They will not accept the return. BE CAREFUL Not only with the return policy the dresses don't look like the pictures.

Absolutely disgusting, dishonest company. After trying to return my dress, and days of pitiful excuses from them, I eventually had to settle for a refund of half of the cost I paid for it. Do not buy from these people.

They are so misleading in regards to their return. They do not accept returns unless you pay a ton of money to send it back to china, and then they whine about how much money they will lose if they accept the return. So basically they tell you you can return and then they go back and forth it is worst company!!

I ordered two dresses from Stacees — one didn’t fit well, and the other was a full size too small. Before purchasing , I explicitly asked about their return policy and was told I could return within 14 days. Based on that reassurance, I went ahead with the order. However, when I contacted them within the 14-day window to return the dresses (which were standard sizes, not custom-made), they did everything possible to avoid issuing a refund. First, they tried to get me to sell the dress myself or accept a free new one. When I refused, they claimed they could only refund 70% of the item cost, citing internal policies — policies that were not disclosed in their email before purchase. This is a clear violation of UK consumer law, which gives buyers the right to return online purchases for a full refund within 14 days if the items aren’t custom-made. The dresses were £140 and £120 — not cheap. This has been a frustrating, stressful experience. I’m now having to escalate through PayPal, my bank, and Trading Standards. I only wish I’d read the reviews here first. Please don’t make the same mistake. Avoid Stacees. They are misleading, untrustworthy, and operate outside consumer protection laws.

I too would leave ZERO stars if possible. Absolute horrible experience and the posts about not being able to make a return even if you follow all of the return policies are true. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Consider yourself warned.😞

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company claims to accept returns, but that’s far from the truth. When I tried to return a dress, they offered me just $15 to keep it—saying it would be “destroyed” in their warehouse because they don’t resell dresses, as they are supposedly “custom-made.” I’m not sure how it’s custom-made if I received the dress internationally within five days. They also said I’d be responsible for the material cost even if I did send it back and couldn’t refund more than $30. The dress itself was pretty, but the bride (my friend) didn’t like the shade, which is why I needed to return it. Unfortunately, their policies are misleading and the customer service is frustrating at best. Don’t get scammed like I did—shop elsewhere.

As almost every review states returns are impossible. Futile email exchanges result in suggestions to sell the dress, offering a derisory refund or shipping to China for a fractional refund. Do not adhere to UK distance selling regulations. Should be avoided at all costs. Attempting to recover money via my bank dispute process or paypal
