They lie and indicate “dresses ship in 48 hours.” I ordered one that took 4 weeks, it didn’t fit so I ordered a second and it NEBER ARRIVED!

Dresses do not fit and they are not honoring their return policy. I’m out $500+ and can’t afford to buy a dress that fits. No stars!! Required 1 star to make a comment. Stay away - do NOT order from them.

The dress didn't look as described. My daughter's prom was coming close so we held the dress just in case she didn't find one. She found one and i started the return process 15 days after receiving the dress. They will not accept the return. BE CAREFUL Not only with the return policy the dresses don't look like the pictures.

Absolutely disgusting, dishonest company. After trying to return my dress, and days of pitiful excuses from them, I eventually had to settle for a refund of half of the cost I paid for it. Do not buy from these people.

They are so misleading in regards to their return. They do not accept returns unless you pay a ton of money to send it back to china, and then they whine about how much money they will lose if they accept the return. So basically they tell you you can return and then they go back and forth it is worst company!!

I ordered two dresses from Stacees — one didn’t fit well, and the other was a full size too small. Before purchasing , I explicitly asked about their return policy and was told I could return within 14 days. Based on that reassurance, I went ahead with the order. However, when I contacted them within the 14-day window to return the dresses (which were standard sizes, not custom-made), they did everything possible to avoid issuing a refund. First, they tried to get me to sell the dress myself or accept a free new one. When I refused, they claimed they could only refund 70% of the item cost, citing internal policies — policies that were not disclosed in their email before purchase. This is a clear violation of UK consumer law, which gives buyers the right to return online purchases for a full refund within 14 days if the items aren’t custom-made. The dresses were £140 and £120 — not cheap. This has been a frustrating, stressful experience. I’m now having to escalate through PayPal, my bank, and Trading Standards. I only wish I’d read the reviews here first. Please don’t make the same mistake. Avoid Stacees. They are misleading, untrustworthy, and operate outside consumer protection laws.

I too would leave ZERO stars if possible. Absolute horrible experience and the posts about not being able to make a return even if you follow all of the return policies are true. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Consider yourself warned.😞

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company claims to accept returns, but that’s far from the truth. When I tried to return a dress, they offered me just $15 to keep it—saying it would be “destroyed” in their warehouse because they don’t resell dresses, as they are supposedly “custom-made.” I’m not sure how it’s custom-made if I received the dress internationally within five days. They also said I’d be responsible for the material cost even if I did send it back and couldn’t refund more than $30. The dress itself was pretty, but the bride (my friend) didn’t like the shade, which is why I needed to return it. Unfortunately, their policies are misleading and the customer service is frustrating at best. Don’t get scammed like I did—shop elsewhere.

As almost every review states returns are impossible. Futile email exchanges result in suggestions to sell the dress, offering a derisory refund or shipping to China for a fractional refund. Do not adhere to UK distance selling regulations. Should be avoided at all costs. Attempting to recover money via my bank dispute process or paypal

Trying to return is a nightmare! they said you can return but spent 2 weeks going back-and-forth via email. They just kept repeating the same thing… That we have to pay for the shipping and they can’t resell the dresses. They will lose a lot of money, and we’re gonna end up paying more for The shipping then the cost of the dress. There’s many ways to ship an item. They just didn’t want the dress back. Why can’t you resell a brand new dress with the tags on? These conversations went on for over two weeks and responses were cut and paste always the same with very little resolution. So I had to end up keeping the dress and selling.

FRAUD - they claim to have a return policy, but they do not. They basically say you need to keep the dress, offer you a small fraction of cash back. When you insist on returning it, they claim all these additional fees and shipping costs and offer at best 50% refund. They lie on their site about refunds. AVOID!

I've contacted customer service prior to ordering dresses for my daughter. I was assured I can return if they do not fit. However, the company refused to return the amount I paid and made ridiculous suggestions for only a fraction of the price paid. Numerous emails and chats all in vain. The worst company I've ever encountered. NEVER BUY FROM STACEES.

I ordered a dress and paid 129.00 $. I received, I tried it on, and then I wanted to return it because I didn't fit in it. They offered me $40. Would not take the dress back and I was told to go resell it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they say they have a refund, but they really don't!! Also, all correspondence is through email and no one will speak to you. I asked numerous times can I have a refund and where can I ship this dress back and they refuse to give it to me. I want a refund and address to return the dress

Dress did not arrive in enough time for me to get alterations since it did not fit. They will not refund anything. They only want to give me a $35 refund and then they tell me to sell the dress to get my money back. It is in perfect shape, was only tried on once and never worn. The return was initiated within hours of receiving it on a Sunday night. They refuse to refund the money and take the dress back. I would stick to an American company and make sure a refund is possible. Amazon would even be a better option.

Stacie’s is false advertising on their website. I bought a dress which clearly shows is all sizes and was shipped to me within couple of days. When the dress arrived, it was nothing like the shown on their website. The fit was not complimenting my body and tue quality was very poor. Their website doesn’t have a contact number so everything is via email. Once I emailed them about the dress return, they sent me instructions on how to place a return and after I created a return ticket, then I was asked for picture of the label, which was intact. After all of this back and forth, I got an email saying the dress is custome made hence, can not be returned and they will give me 30 dollars and I can keep the dress. That’s not how they advertise their return policy on their website. I must say that they are thieves and their business policies are rubbish. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! I will never be buying anything from them.

PLEASE review return policy VERY carefully before you purchase address from this company!! It is convoluted and confusing on purpose. They will ONLY refund your purchase if it’s damaged. TERRIBLE customer Service, stay away.

I bought a dress with the assurance I could return. It doesn’t fit so I re packaged it safely and asked to return. They now won’t let me return, instead want me to unpackaged it again, put it back on, take photos of myself in a dress I can’t fit in and receive feedback.

Total scam. They are shipping from China and won't take returns. They have offered me £50 and told me to keep the dress, even though it was over £160. The website is misleading customers since it says it accepts returns within 14 days. I have reported them to the Consumer Protection Bureau but I would warn anyone NOT to patronise this business.

I ordered a pantsuit that wasn’t custom made. It didn’t fit. When I immediately tried to return it, they refused saying every order is custom made, even though their website claims they have a 14-day return policy. They offered to make me another outfit for an additional $60. This is a terrible company to deal with as all communication is from outside the U.S.
