“Absolute scammers. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Stacees will not honour a full refund and make it impossible to send goods back. You will not be able to return your items and will not see your money again. Although they are called Stacees.co.uk and look like a UK company, they are not. When I contacted them about returning items that didn't fit, they said it wouldn't be possible as the fees for international shipping plus customs charges would make it impossible. They offered me a refund of ridiculous amounts, like £20, £30, £40, for dresses that cost £206. Absolutely disgusting. Unethical business model and zero moral compass. I would avoid Stacees like the plague.”

“I ordered my wedding dress from Stacees via Clearpay, and what I received was nothing like the description or photos. The material is cheap and see-through, the fit is completely wrong due to the seller misunderstanding my order details, and the dress is unwearable. Stacees refused a refund and offered only a 15% discount coupon, claiming they could no longer help because I opened a dispute with Clearpay. Clearpay closed my dispute without resolving the issue, leaving me to pay for a faulty item in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I have now had to buy another dress at short notice. I would advise others to avoid ordering from Stacees and be cautious when using Clearpay for purchases where you might need protection. Just look at the state of this dress! They sold me a lie and I want my money back!!!”

“I would give this company no stars if I could. I ordered a dress for a wedding and unfortunately could not use it. When I attempted to return it, the company gave me the runaround about the return process and wouldn’t give me a clear return address for quite some time. Eventually, they provided an address—but failed to mention it was in China, something that’s nowhere clearly stated on their website. They also refused to issue a full refund and emphasized that return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, despite offering no transparency about the true cost. When I went to ship it back through UPS, I was quoted $300–$400 just to return a $100 dress ($120 with shipping included). Absolutely outrageous. This feels deceptive and dishonest. Be extremely cautious before purchasing anything from them—especially if you think there’s even a slight chance you’ll need to return it. There are far better companies out there that are upfront about their policies and don’t bury international return costs in the fine print.”

“A critical note for potential buyers: I was misled by the 5-star reviews and thought I could trust ordering from them. But when I tried to leave a review on stacees.com, their system kept switching it to 5 stars, even though I selected 1star (unfortunately can’t give 0) I gave up trying. Their ratings are clearly misleading. Read the reviews carefully—don’t be fooled by false ratings. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. My experience with this merchant was an absolute disaster and a complete waste of my time and money. The dress arrived with an uneven, gaping hole in the keyhole at the back—it was completely unwearable and clearly defective. For a custom-fit dress, this was absolutely unacceptable. What’s worse is the way customer service handled it: I sent multiple photos showing the issue, and instead of taking responsibility, they gave me the runaround and ultimately refused to accept a return. Their attitude was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional (John handled the majority of my conversations). I’m appalled by the lack of accountability. This company clearly does not stand behind its products or value its customers. I never got to wear the dress because of the flaw, and they showed zero interest in making things right. If you’re considering ordering from them, I strongly advise you to think twice.”

“Ordered a standard size dress which did not fit despite being meticulous about my measurements. After many customer service emails they agreed to give me a refund for about 60%. However shipping back to China would cost twice what I paid for the dress!”

“Dresses do not fit and they are not honoring their return policy. I’m out $500+ and can’t afford to buy a dress that fits. No stars!! Required 1 star to make a comment. Stay away - do NOT order from them.”

“The dress didn't look as described. My daughter's prom was coming close so we held the dress just in case she didn't find one. She found one and i started the return process 15 days after receiving the dress. They will not accept the return. BE CAREFUL Not only with the return policy the dresses don't look like the pictures.”

“They are so misleading in regards to their return. They do not accept returns unless you pay a ton of money to send it back to china, and then they whine about how much money they will lose if they accept the return. So basically they tell you you can return and then they go back and forth it is worst company!!”
