“Do not buy from here. I have been trying to get a refund for weeks and they're still refusing. Offering me less than a quarter of the price back, told us to resell the dresses privately! Discusting service”

“Avoid this company like the plague. I ordered a dress for my son's wedding. It was nothing like the photograph. Far too long and poor quality especially the "lace" jacket. I ordered a size 16 which wasn't custom made but the zip on the back wouldn't even close half way up. I've been trying to find a return address but they obviously don't want you to know this. I'm now putting in a claim to get my money back. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID”

“Dress awfull built in bra is up on my shoulder blades lace shoddy dress so heavy could where outside in snow storm I had some customizing otherwise would be sending back”

“Don't buy from them. They take your money and then lie about production and delivery timelines. They also lie about the order cancellation timeline. I received inconsistent responses from them on an order that I placed. Unfortunately, there is no one to talk to, every communication is done via email or chat. Poor customer experience.”

“This company should not be allowed to trade. The zip is broken and the material is not a shown, they will not let me return the dress or get a refund. I had to get money back through my bank, proving this illegal trading. I will be also reporting to trading standards so this doesn't happen to others.”

“Ordered a dress from Stacee’s all reviews on the website were positive after I placed the order I search on Google their reviews (should have before I ordered, lesson learnt). Although the pictures of the dress I the site looked lovely I wasn’t sure if I would suit the type of dress then the reviews mentioned getting a refund was a horrible experience so I decided after a couple of hours to cancel the order and have a refund to save having to send the dress back and potentially not have the dress or my money. Customer service was terrible they then stated I couldn’t get a refund in full even though the dress handy been made or processed yet. Contacted PayPal and have the refund in full thankfully. AVOID this company buying online is hard and even harder if you can’t send it back if it doesn’t suit.”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID cheap material, zip didn't work, requested a refund 9 TIMES 2 days after it arrived, still won't and now having to report to trading standards and my credit card company. Really horrible behaviour and unnecessary stress before our wedding.”

“If I could give a lower score I would If I could give a lower score I would. Bunch of crooks who refuse to refund on faulty goods and make ridiculous offers such as £10 good will payment in compensation on dress over £100.00! with the further suggestion that I sell the faulty dress second hand to retrieve my hard earned money. What a bunch of jokers and not abiding by UK law. Shocking customer service and will be taking further action to get refund.”

“AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! STACEES....what a joke! I ordered two outfits to try as mother of the bride. Total £235. Items very poor quality, ill fitting, awful material. Requested a refund, the customer service and returns are a joke finally offered 70% after many email exchanges and live chat, but that didn't include the £29, shipping cost I paid for in the first place or the return fee of £11 to a warehouse in Doncaster. Unbelievably they offered silly refund amounts £20, £50, £70.... I argued all the way but finally had to accept £144 of total £235! Totally unacceptable, unlawful terms and conditions in UK law and against the UK consumer rights act. I don't know how they've not been prosecuted and clearly make their money by offering paltry refund amounts. I don't know of any other online retail companies who do this. So PLEASE PLEASE do not use STACEES And read the small print of refund policy. I wouldn't have gone near them if I'd read it closely. I'll believe it when I see the refunded money back in my account!!”

“I ordered a standard size dress but they emailed insisting that it was made to measure, what a disappointment! It was not made to the measurements I sent and had 2 holes in it!! The company need to do something about their customer services, despite several emails and requests they refuse to send me a returns form, instead they offer nominal amounts to compensate, £20 is a joke considering I spent £164. It seems impossible to get a refund! I will never use this company and I will do my best to make sure I tell everyone NOT to use this company!”

“I wouldn't give any stars. Ordered a dress of a size 18. The dress is more like a 12. Tried emailing to return the dress, spent a fortune on the dress, battling to get return for refund. Still haven't had it. Absolutely disgusted”

“DON’T BOTHER! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. The dresses come up smaller than the measurements shown. Wedding dress finish is awful with big holes in the lace. The customer service is shocking. I started my return in July 2022 and to this day i still haven’t got my refund nearly 5 months later. The email battle commences but for anyone who is in the same situation don’t let them fob you off that you have to send the items back to china. THEY HAVE A UK RETURN ADDRESS IN PRESTON! Please don’t wasted you time and money of these people”

“I would give Stacees no stars if I could. I ordered a dress with was supposed to be Tea length yet it is past my ankles. I was assured I could return the dress if it wasn't right. it's the same story as the others, send pictures and update the ticket on your account, after sales service will be in touch. Appalling Customer Service, would never recommend or use them again. I live in hope of a refund! Trading Standards should be doing something about this Company and Companies like them.”

“£237 to have a custom wedding dress made after confirming with them they accept returns and offer returns etc if the dress is poor quality or not what I was expecting. I was promised 15 days turn around, 27 days later it finally came and is unwearable! My ivory dress was delivered with 3 random pieces of white appliqué that stand out like a sore thumb, all with plastic threads hanging off/out. The tulle skirts are a solid 3 inches longer than the base skirt and not cut straight so they are all wonky and different lengths to each other. One of the cups is sewn in to the side instead of the front creating a weird gaping effect that apparently is my body rather than their obviously wonky sewing. When I requested a refund they went back on what they had previously told me and refused it, according to Scamees they sent me a perfect dress and even included a picture of said perfect dress in their email. The dress pictured was white, my dress is ivory. They then offered me £20 for me to take my dress to a seamstress to fix their errors or for an additional £50 they will remake the whole thing! Utterly awful, I took a gamble trying to get a cheap wedding dress for my small and low key wedding and it did not pay off.”

“Terrible refund process. I ordered two dresses and spent £17 on shipping only for them to arrive late and miss the event. The refunds process is really difficult and now after reading these reviews, I am not holding out hope of getting any of my £200 back. They offered me a refund of £35 and have said 'we might not even receive the dresses' when I send them back which doesn't fill me with hope. I am so upset, £200 down the drain and a terrible refund process. I will be contacting Trading Standards/anywhere else I can find as I think the process is disgusting.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered a bridesmaid dress and after it taking 3 weeks to arrive, the dress that arrived was nothing like it was advertised. Awful quality and and awful shape. Looked like a curtain!! When I tried to return they have this backwards policy where you can only claim 70% of your refund back? How is that allowed? When they finally replied to me after weeks of emailing them, they said If I went for the 70% refund I would still have to pay half for delivery and that’s without a guarantee they would receive it! Ultimately they gave me no other option than to accept a £25 refund. I have attached the photo of what dress they advertised compared to what arrived! Awful! They are a shocking company with shocking customer service!! Do not buy from here!!”
