“DO NOT get a Stein Mart credit card unless you plan to use it frequently. They decreased my credit line for no activity which dinged my credit. What kind of customer loyalty is that? NEVER shopping there again!!!!”

“I have shopped at Stein Mart for years and will miss the store. And for those who complained about having to wear a mask, grow up! Not sure where to go to buy "Boutique Style at Bargain Prices". Thank you for the many great years of service. I feel for the employees at my store. They have been the best!”

“Great store. Been shopping at the Pompano Beach and Coral Springs locations for 15 years. Spent $225.00 during their closing sale. When Loehmans went out of business 7 years ago, SteinMart should have obtained that demographics. Will miss shopping here!”

“Love Stein Mart stores...I live in Canada and really looked forward to going to Palm Springs to go to SteinMart...For the past 3 years...just about everything I wear is from that store...great clothes ..purses..shoes..home items..and at affordable prices. ( and really good sales) I would hold of shopping all year, so I could do it all at the 3 SteinMart stores in P/S I’m sad they are closing...won’t be the same there..:(”

“Have asthma exacerbated by heat and humidity in Florida. Wore mask in store and took it off as leaving store. Clerk at register yelled out "Put your mask on." I said I'm leaving the store and l have asthma." Clerk's response: "You're not out the door yet." Incredibly rude.”

“Terrible experience with store employee who began yelling at me because I was not wearing a mask. She then proceeded to walk up to me, grabbed the clothes from my arms, hitting my arm and told me to “get out” The police had to be called and report filed. Calling corporate tomorrow.”

“The store “manager” grabbed clothing from my arms, hitting my arm and demanded I leave, yelling at me. I called the police and a report has been filed. This store employee can not accost or assault customers period.”

“Online order placed on 8/13. UPS label created the same day. One month later, and the package never even made it to UPS. It never shipped. There's no way to get in contact with customer support, and Steinmart's online package tracker says it can't be found. This store is taking people's money without delivering their products. Absolute thieves. No wonder they are going out of business. Very disappointed. Poor management and sad excuse for a business.”

“Jay stein just bought a 31 million dollar mansion in bel air California. As his employees all lose their jobs and are on the street. The company was managed into the ground. While the idiots worked their butts off. Nice going jay and deanie. What A dam joke. Oh well. Butt kissers. Go find new jobs and good luck . Serves that gossiping pack right . Lol lol cannot stop laughing. This is my personal opinion WHAT DISGUSTING DOWNFALL...”

“I have always shopped at and loved this store but that all changed with Covid!!! Apparently not only can you NOT try on clothes but you also Cannot return them if they don't fit!!! WOW...hope you can eyeball something and know with 100% certainty that it will fit or you're hosed! NO THANKS... why didn't you just stay closed Steinmart rather than screwing the customer over? Thank goodness for Amazon.”

“My queen size quilt is perfect. It’s exactly as described on your website. Best price on the internet and trust me I did a lot of looking before I found it. It was exactly a 4 day turnaround, which is exactly what was promised. This was my first time shopping your online merchandise but I have been a loyal customer of your store for many years. In this day of Covid-19 I try to stay away from shopping in stores.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. ONCE YOU BUY IT YOU OWN IT. I placed my first order with Steinmart.com on June 21th. One of the items I purchased was a battery powered wine opener. This was for a gift as I already have the same one I ordered. When I put batteries in the new one, it wouldn’t work. I took the removable battery cartridge and placed it in my own wine opener and it worked just fine. I then placed my old battery cartridge in the new one and it also wouldn’t work with old one. So obviously the new one was defective. I called Steinmart and told them I shouldn’t have to pay to return a defective product and they agreed. They said they were sending me a UPS return label but that it was coming from UPS so it could take five business days. I waited and then called again with the same request. I waited 5 days again with no result. I called again – they told me my address must not be right (that’s absurd but I had them send to my husband’s email) again no label after 5 business days. Finally on July 17th I called requested a refund. I was put on hold for 2 minutes and told I would have my refund in a few days. It’s now been one week and no refund. I can only assume they’re failing and no longer care about their customers. I am going to dispute the amount on my credit card.”

“Stein mart Nevada ave Colorado. I was so excited to do a little shopping & found summer dress rack said “ reduced to $20. Thought long & hard cuz we can’t try on. Cashier rang it up as $30 something. I told her it wAs in the $20 rack but she didn’t even say that she would look. There were a lot of confusing signs but not this 1. I am so upset cuz I’ve alway had a great experience in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara CA Stein Mart but I’ll never shop at this 1 again”

“Online order was received, 7/16/2020 as an obvious customer return. Called C/S and really didn't seem to care other than asking if something was wrong. Don't think this is a practice one should take lightly during COVID.”
