Where are the Steinmart low prices? Was one of my favorite stores. Too expensive now.

Received my order. The strap for the clutch would not open so could not attach it. Was able to talk to someone who told me to take a pictures and they would be in touch. Did not hear anything Called 2 times, later another person told me they would send a return label. No label so far. My last experience with SM. BUYER BEWARE.

Firstly, I ordered a sweater that appeared to be purple and white. When I got it it was grey and white-- DINGY grey and purple. I sought to Return it, as we do in America when we are unsatisfied. I was told I could get a "Store Credit". This is why they are going Bankrupt with most of their stores Closing. The store in my area has closed. Horrible Online Return Policies leave your company unable to compete with the best stores. Why would I shop with you???? I wouldn't.

Love this store in Texas before they closed, but BEWARE of online orders. I ordered from Steinmart and received a dress from Dressbarn. Returns are for STORE CREDIT only. This is really unacceptable for an online store. It should also be conspicuously posted. Now I have had two exchanges about the return with lame nonsense about not finding the order and then asking what I wanted. Plainly bad service!

If I could give a negative star I would. I have gotten the run around for over a month to return an item. The customer service is awful. I honestly think their refund process is a scam to keep putting the customer off until they give up. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE! I get the same "we will get the label to you as soon as possible"...these emails have gone back and forth for the last month. I'm not giving up and will take legal action if I have to!

Buyer beware with the new Stein Mart website. They do not take returns! They will only give you a store credit and this is not the Steinmart we all knew and loved. They must have an overseas buyer - the clothes are frumpy and the prices are outrageous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE! I wrote them four times now and they are now ignoring me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I spent $150 on tablecloths (4) and they shrunk where they no longer fit the specified tables (followed laundering instructions). I contacted customer service within one week of receiving the merchandise and they were unwilling to do anything about it! They said the only way I could return or exchange them was if they were unused and in original packaging. Terrible customer service and total failure to back the merchandise they sell!

Placed an order in January for a dress which never arrived. I realized today while looking at my bank statement that I had been charged for the dress. I called Steinmart's customer service where a young man answered the phone and I swear it sounded like there were people in the background having everyday conversations with each other like they were in someone's living room. I told the person what happened and he said they have no record of my order. I said but you deducted it from my bank account. He said, you should call your bank, it must be a banking issue. I said, so my my bank just randomly charged me $76.94 and put Steinmart as the company who received the money?? He said, it's not our issue. It's your bank's issue. From the other reviews I've read it would probably be a piece of trash anyway. Will never buy from them!! PLEASE BEWARE! The new Steinmart is not the same company that used to have stores. This organization bought their name. They are scammers!!

Steinmart.com clothing is not the same as the store merchandise. The styles are horrible. Where are all the fashionable styles. I have not ordered anything and will no longer waste my time scrolling through the bad choices online. Bad move Steinmart.

Same inability to get return label or shipping information to return items of inferior quality and poor fit. Have been requesting it daily for 10 days since I received the order. Received one email response from Vincent in customer service that stated I had to respond to his email acknowledging my items complied with their return policy in order to receive an authorization or return label, which I did. That was 7 days ago. My package came from AA 116 26th street Brooklyn NY 11232-1405 so I feel like I have no choice but to return it via UPS and dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have never had to do this before.

Worst experience ever!! SAME AS ALL OTHER REVIEWS! No response after calling and emailing multiple times. Will call my credit card company to get reimbursed- only option at this point.

Buyer Beware, they should be shutdown! Trying to communicate with them to return item, no response. Will dispute their charge with my credit card company. Why can't they include return info with order like other companies. Lesson learned, one and DONE! Crooks!

The absolute worst. I asked 8 times for return label and never received one. I then asked for address and never received that. I then called and their phone is out of order...I had to get my money back through my credit card company. Terrible store! The worst!

I purchased a jumpsuit and finally was able to get in touch with a customer service rep over a two weeks ago that said she would send a return label. I have yet to receive it and now can't get anyone to answer. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! You will not be able to return you item. I am so disappointed.

The Steinmart name was sold to a group that buys up the "name" for online stores which take the money and never ship items or items are junk!!! Beware --check out the group that bought the Steinmart name--they purchase closed stores brand names to fool the customers. I really miss SteinMart--my entire closet is from there--I guess I will not appear as fashionable--lol--really will miss SteinMart!!! Do not purchase from the online store--overpriced crap--nothing like the stores!!! BEWARE!

If I could I wouldn’t give it any stars. I ordered a dress that took weeks to arrive. It arrived and it truly is the cheapest item I have ever received ( I paid $159). It is pure junk. I have sent four emails trying to get a return label. So far unsuccessful in a response. BE WARNED!! They will NOT credit your credit card, DO NOT buy from them unless you are 100% sure it is quality- don’t expect it to be or, you can’t find it elsewhere. Truly a horrible experience.

I ordered a area rug on 1-25-21 it was charged to my credit card that exact same day. I called Customer assistance to ask them to change the delivery address to my home not my credit card address. The rug left the vendor on 1-26-21. I called Stein Mart again on 1-26-21, because I noticed the rug was being shipped to the incorrect address. Fatma at Stein Mart Customer Service assured me it was being shipped to the correct address. I continue to follow the shipment and the address was never correct. I called Fatma Mandour everyday to get this fixed and was assured this was taken care of. 2-1-21 while tracking the Fed Ex delivery, I noticed it was changed to "return to sender" instead of my home address. I called again on 2-1-21 and was informed it was being delivered to me. I called again on 2-2-21 to inform them of the return to sender on the Fed Ex tracking and she stated she would call me back and of course never has. Now today is 2-3-21 and I have called them 4 times & sent 4 emails to get a refund on a shipment that has never arrived. Now I am told they have to wait to receive the information form the vendor to refund my purchase. This is the worst Customer Service response, by not returning my calls and informing me of the process to get the refund on my credit card. I will NEVER order anything from this company again.

I am extremely upset about SteinMart closing. The style of clothing they had was just gorgeous and prices were very reasonable. I joked many times about changing my home address to SteinMart. I sincerely hope they reopen in the future.
