Brought 2 Gabicci tops from Stuarts, turned up promptly and packaging and shirts were excellent. I had to return them as my girlfriend had purchased the same shirts as a surprise Christmas present from another supplier. The return to Stuarts was simple and my account was credited by Stuarts with no fuss. I felt bad as the service I received was fantastic even though there was no sale. I will definitely use Stuarts of London again. Sorry that I messed you around this time guys. Merry Christmas 🎅

Where do I start? I ordered a pair of boots from Stuart’s of London. They arrived with marks on each heel where a previous customer had kicked them off. I complained to Stuart’s who tried to pass this off as normal. See pictures and make up your own mind! I said these were unacceptable to me but would begrudgingly keep them if they were willing to offer a 10% discount. They did offer to exchange them but being so close to Xmas with lots of delivery delays due to postal strikes this wasn’t something I could accept. Stuart’s wouldn’t budge on a discount so I had no real option but to accept. They were pretty awful to deal with and tried to bully me into not writing this post, saying they would have me done for defamation! Now when you clearly state what happened factually they cannot do this. The fact that they tried to bully me and even said this is appalling. If you go on lots of review sites you will see that lots of other customers have had problems with them. I wish I’d of listened to other customers complaints. I will never ever use them again and would certainly never recommend them. Im sure Stuart’s will come on here with some kind of silly reply as I’ve seen on other review sites. All I can do is show you the pictures and tell you what happened factually.

I would like to give Stuarts 5 stars but I am afraid I cannot because they use the services of Aramex couriers. Aramex is the absolute worst courier business I have used for both local and international parcel delivery. On numerous occasions I have waited around 3 weeks for taramec to deliver parcels detained at their local hub which is approximate 7 KMs from my home. They have zero customer support and are impossible to contact. The parcel from Stuarts will not be delivered in time for Christmas, it was sent to a Sydney depot despite the correct depot in Perth being 6 hours closer to the Dubai hub. I have contacted Aramex repeatedly with zero response. Not happy

when I enquired about the item I purchased i asked how much it would cost to return if it did not fit, no one mentioned any more than just the return postage. However it included postage to me as well and cost £12 in total. I think it is sneaky and very disappointing to not make this clear. Unlikely to repeat any purchases from you again.

Can’t complain with the excellent and efficient service. Good selection of clothing and especially the workwear type garments. I was gutted as I have been looking at the Stan Ray 80s pants for a while, the blue ones (one wash denim) were a bit too indigo and they didn’t match any of my work wear over shirts. I will keep an eye on the website in the future if Stan Ray have any more jeans in this style. The returns process was very prompt and easy. So can’t complain with any of the service I received.

I got what I ordered at a good initial price, but had to pay nearly 50% tax and import duties bringing it into the EU (Italy.) The website customs-checker suggested no further payment, and other UK websites from which I ordered in the last 6 months didn’t have the customs problem. It should be made clear if there is a risk of extra charges. I got a model slightly different than I wanted because of the discount, but in the end I have to say it wasn’t worth it.

I didn’t receive my parcel. They told me to allow five days for the delivery partner to investigate (which involved the driver returning to the address to essentially interrogate my mother and the neighbours). The driver then had the audacity to request I personally knock around doors because they cannot “remember” where the left the parcel and the retailer actually relayed that request to me as if that was an acceptable explanation. I couldn’t believe it. Two weeks since the parcel was allegedly delivered, I have no parcel and no refund. Stuart’s will expect you to wait for their delivery partner to compensate them first before they refund you (which is DPD by the way, that should have been the first red flag) which involves you having to wait for a form in the mail. So essentially they have you work to get THEM compensated before yourself. We’re currently experiencing strikes and clearly they don’t even send 1st or 2nd class because I still haven’t received form which was meant to have been sent last week - again this is according to Stuart’s, DPD had no idea what was going on and the woman on the phone sounded puzzled when I asked about the alleged “form” I had to sign, so I don’t know if they made up the stuff about the form. Christmas is at the end of the week and I don’t have a gift or money to replace the gift for the loved one. Filing a dispute with PayPal and my bank. Worst experience ever! Edit: Finally got a refund now I filed a dispute with PayPal and the refund was in FULL. If you came here looking for advice, I’d suggest disputing through your payment method because that’s the only way you get movement on a refund. Stuart’s are not interested in adhering to the Consumer Rights Act, hide extra in the T&C’s to make returns extremely difficult and the “Customer Service” reps do well at sounding like they want to help you. They don’t, they want to drag out the process til you give up. Be very wary of this company.
