“I booked a holiday for myself and the Mrs for our wedding anniversary. Sadly we weren’t able to go due to a family emergency, I was told that I would be able to get the taxes back and lose everything else. All I was asking for some compassionate time to put the holiday on hold. After many phone calls with different people, I eventually got the cost of the hotel back and nearly half the flights. I would have expected a bit more compassion and under the circumstances to have been allowed to put the holiday on hold, it was either cancel and lose everything or go”
