I suffer a disability and have been treated with a total lack of respect by this company. They have taken advantage of my disability and now forcing me to continue with the contract. The worst service ever and waited over a month for a call back and every time i call it gets disconnected. Complaint will be made at the highest level. Their reviews demonstrate them as a company

Unbelievable , no one can deal with any simple enquiry. Even the manager cannnot manage to deal with anything. I am moving house at end of jan 2020 the new buyer of my house has contacted sky to be there supplier when they move. I received a letter from talktalk saying they will disconnecting the line on dec 11th. I have made over 20 phone calls to these muppets and get promised it will be dealt with and called back. No one calls back and when you call no one knows anything. Absolute jokers. I would not recommend these to anyone or keeps my other contracts running with them. Steer clear from these, all would be ok if you never had to try and contact them as they could manage to tie there own shoe laces

Have a problem with my talk talk TV box, just spent over an hour online chatting with technical support, useless. Keeps trying to blame my aerial which can't possibly be the problem because freeview on both our TV' s is fine just keeps asking same questions and not reading or understanding my answers. Gave up in the end cancelling my talk box subscription in the morning. Dreaded contacting them in the first place after previous useless help and hours of repeated questions, they clearly read through a crib sheet but then don't understand understand the answers

What a useless useless outfit TalkTalk are. I have lost the will to live having spent the whole time I’ve been with them (15months) trying to get someone to sort out my intermittent broadband. I am so tired of being apologised to profusely by some insincere foreign customer service operator and nothing gets resolved. I work from home so I need a reliable connection. It seems almost impossible to actually talk to someone. Most of my communication has to be done via text messages and they can take 3 days to get nowhere fast! The extension in the living room seems faulty and our area is notorious for old & damp external wiring. They say Open Reach have put in new wiring & have rectified the fault!! Then we have to go through the whole process of answering questions about what my master socket looks like every time I call again to complain. I send a photo of it and maybe 24 hrs later I’m asked via text how many screws there are on the plate!!! ....... and so it goes on....... I’m now trying to buy myself out of my contract!!! This company should not be allowed to carry on trading.

Extremely high bill now moved from Onetel I have just been looking at my mother’s latest Landline phone bill as she had been moved from Onetel to a TalkTalk weekend package and completely disgusted with how much more she has had to pay compared to what she was when on a Onetel package. She was assured that she would be on a similar package to what she was on with Onetel this is clearly not the case. At no time was she informed of what the price per call would be with being transferred to the plan they put her on. She is nearly 90 years old and only has a state pension As an example with Onetel and now TalkTalk, a local call to Southampton from Southampton Tel number: 02380 number called 23rd July Onetel duration 00:40:00 cost £0.63 approx 1.6p per min 5th December TalkTalk duration 00:44:00 cost £7.27 approx cost 16.5p per min So speaking to her friend for 40 odd minutes as she used to has rocketed. Her bills were always around £15 per month if not less, you can imagine my surprise that the bill she has just received as a TalkTalk customer was £62.85 for 46 local calls. This is about 10 times what her old bills were. I have sent a letter of complaint to TalkTalk and awaiting a reply, and have now moved her to BT. After further googling I gather there is something called call boost that allows calls to landlines etc. for £10 a month. This has never been mentioned to my mother and if she would have been aware and had this she wouldn't be getting such a high bill? Still stuck with these rip off merchants apparently I have to wait to end of December before I get released, meanwhile my mother will have to stop using the phone, she cannot afford 35p plus or whatever per minute!! Even more disgusted with TalkTalk !!!

Promised broadband goes live 10 days after phone call. Comes to that day, still no broadband. Call up, they say it will go live on midnight. Wake up the next day and still no broadband, been on the phone for 3 hours... for them to say an engineer needs to come out to disconnect old broadband line. Can take up to 7 days! Not helpful customer service!

I cannot begin to tell you how poor talk talk are. Had internet issues for weeks, nobody wants to help or support. Passed from twitter to live chat, now with the CEO office who are desperate to just ignore me still. Please take my advice and go nowhere near them, cheap internet means awful service and support. Really terrible outfit, go elsewhere.

The service had been working for a long time and then ipad and iPhone could not connect to the router or lost connection are a short time. Android could connect.. Very strange. We had been sent an upgraded router about a year ago and luckily kept the old one. Switched the router and everything worked. Logically the new router has developed a problem. Explained this on chat, 30 mins still no help so called support line and explained everything. 90 mins on the line and they then said we need to buy range extenders. We refused and they finally agreed to send a new router which solved the problem. 2 hours lost when we told them the problem from the start. Total rubbish support needs looking at urgently. Talktalk support is seriously not fit for purpose. If we had not had a spare router we would not have had the problem resolved and would only be able to restore Internet access by going to another provider.

I booked installation of new broadband to commence 2 days after moving home. They sent the router to my new home a day before I moved in with an text an hour before delivering said router saying it would arrive in two days. Essentially left on the doorstep. Not there when I moved in. A replacement router was ordered. Expected delivery date today. Not here and not coming. The earliest this will be resolved is Christmas Eve. Thirteen days later than originally booked. My complaint has been booted up to the CEO, after making two complaints within one week. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Although they are quick answering the phone there is a reason their wifi is so cheap. For the past month I have had issues with wifi. I have rang them when the wifi has been down over half an hour, but the wifi actually lags every day. After 3 calls and a month of waiting I ring to ask to exit without cancellation fees as I am paying for a service I am not getting, especially when I signed up for minimum speed guarantee, the only reason I went with talktalk. When they said that I couldn't exit without paying I asked for a refund, I'd spent about a total of about 5h on the phone to them in the past month, the only option they offered me was a 5 pound credit note. I am very unhappy with this service and would not recommend TalkTalk. In my previous flat I had BT and they were outstanding, the reason I couldn't continue with BT was because they couldn't provide the service I needed in my new location.

I set up a house move with talk talk. I was moving on the 6th they stopped my Wi-Fi in the 4th. Going live date was 6th. No welcome package and defo no wifi. I spent hours on the phone repeating myself over and over, getting passed from pillar to post. I phoned up and cancelled four days later. They will not clear the line till 8th of Jan as the order was in place. Iv went with Vodafone and have to pay £60 with Openreach to set up a new line as talk talk refuse to clear it. Please please stay away from this company. There customer service is atrocious. Vodafone have provided me with unlimited data on my phone until they can set up a new line. Unfortunately not till 30th dec. Iv recently lost my husband and can't handle this stress. It's been ridiculous.

DISGRACEFUL service... read below...from my experience, do NOT use TalkTalk if you are elderly!!!! My 88 year old father-in-law tried to contact Talk Talk to cancel his service due to moving house. He is very hard of hearing. I was with him to try to help, and the first person we spoke to had no patience at all... would not let me help (not with answers, but just saying the questions to him). They would not let us write in by post to cancel the service. I tried very nicely to work out how to achieve what we wanted. She CUT US off! We then got through a 2nd time, this time to the complaints department...even worse. I won't write a long article here, but we were lied to, we were not helped and the 2nd person did not help at all.... TalkTalk listen back to both calls, I suspect someone will be disciplined! I understand security has to be followed, but you gave a frail 88 year old man a very stressful time. Unfair and unpleasant. I was very pleasant and helpful on both calls and kept my cool! Listen back. Or yes, they promised a call back today...guess what, Talk Talk did not call back. Surprise! They had two numbers to reach me. I write very many good on-line reviews. In this case, the service from Talk Talk was a disgraceful. No empathy for helping elderly people, no support, no compromise to help the customer and to listen. So in conclusion, I will be recommending to family, friends and more...not to use Talk Talk for your phone and internet. Dr G Boxall.

I don't like to write bad reviews but today I have to. I have booked the engineer one month in advance and when he haven't came I call to customer service. So I was really surprised when I found out that this appointment was cancelled by engineer also as my account. Never recommend

My modem went off this morning, the power just cut out, luckily I had an old one from 7 years ago which I was told by talktalk was no good anymore. So I got online to talktalk and after 30 mins of chat going round and round I was told it would be £30 for a replacement. I'm not paying it. As usual poor service and lack of understanding by whichever country the chat are based.

This is not a communication service they came out 2 days ago installed this system in our home and was told it would automatically turn on at 7 pm that evening 14 hours of phone calls later still no phone or internet service I’ve decided to rip this useless equipment out any put it wear it belongs in our bin I’ve stopped the direct debit as I’ve tried to tell them that I want to cancel but they keep saying we can’t even though you got 14 days to cancel I wouldn’t give this company a single star but you have to to try to help other people out so they don’t go for this cheap and nasty option
