Nope Sorry, not in my experience. Switched to Popit Mobile for everything! I am far better off now.

Talktalk signed us into a new 18 months contract without our consent and now wants us to pay early termination fees because we are moving out of the country. Many other customers have shared similar experiences on their community website (google it if you want to read it). Service was ok in Edinburgh - except sunday night

“Believe me, TalkTalk has committed a complete fraud. They have charged me over 300 pounds, first for two different homes, and then, when I asked to cancel, they told me to get a new connection. When I agreed to a new connection, they slapped me with another 150 pounds in charges related to previous addresses. It’s undoubtedly fraudulent behavior.”

I would like to thank Jeffrey P for his excellent help yesterday. Both my husband and l were trying unsuccessfully to get answers over a card payment. Every time we tried to explain we were redirected to another number. Jeffery P was patient and understood our frustration and went the extra mile to give us the information we needed.

I recently had cardiac surgery only two weeks ago, had the issue with noise in during call and internet drooping many times a day intermittently. Talk identified issue, have requested this urgent, Talk talk sent an engineer, engineer open reach arrived he has done his tests and sorted noise issue but he clearly said you need new router and said I will put it in my report. Same evening after 19:06 pm received an email from talk talk that I need to call them , the centre was closed, rang next day 18/08/2023 and the talk talk representative gave me hard time to test the line and internet etc for over six hours with heart surgery patient even though they knew and number of time I have advised during telephone call to talk talk advisor that your nominated engineer tested all this already, please contact him. Talk talk Then never listen to me and also talk talk nominated engineer's report for some reason talk talk did not trusted or some issue, so they have put talk talk customer who had cardiac surgery & in pain and gave very hard time by testing line with help of customer rather then sending their own engineer for six hours plus. I never forget this painful experience in my life, On top the talk talk advisor offered talk talk engineer to visit and charge talk talk customer if fault not found. Why ?????????? The talk talk have sent their nominated engineer which they never trusted and gave so much hassle to their own customer instead, I am still suffering from the painful experience and night mare and waking up during night .

Navigating the TalkTalk Tangle: A Grand Adventure at 80! So, here I am, an octogenarian explorer, weathered by time, battle-scarred by experience, and armed with the uncanny ability to spot a broadband mirage. Three plus years hitched to the TalkTalk rollercoaster, and let me tell you, it's been a ride! Their internet waltz is a masterpiece, a symphony of drops and disappearances, leaving me hanging for minutes that stretch like a cat's afternoon nap. Day or night, it's an equal-opportunity vanisher. I call 'em up, thinking they hold the secrets of the digital realm, only to be met with bewildered shoulder shrugs. "Fair usage"? Mention that, and you'd think I was waving a red flag at a bull. They steer clear faster than a cat avoiding a bath. The money game, though, that's their jam. They've got a flawless memory when it comes to your bills, but ask 'em about what they've actually done for you, and you'll get more blank looks than a staring contest champion. It's a monthly ritual, a theatrical performance where they conjure fees from thin air, like pulling rabbits from a hat, only less entertaining. Now, let's talk customer service – or as I like to call it, the "Delay and Distract Dance." They've mastered the art of scripted evasion, leaving you wondering if they're reading off a teleprompter or just speaking in some secret code. They've got more stalls than a farmer's market, and believe me, they're not shy about using 'em. To my dear pals at TalkTalk: Save the fake apologies for your grandma's birthday party. I've spent more hours on hold than a teenager spends on TikTok, and sorry, but time isn't a currency you can refund. I've become a master of their repetitive banter, like a jukebox stuck on a broken record, playing hits from yesteryears. Fellow adventurers, lend me your ears! Time's too precious to be squandered on the TalkTalk circus. Their disruptions are like mosquitoes at a picnic – annoying as heck and draining your energy faster than a toddler on a sugar high. So, fork over a few extra bucks and upgrade to a provider that won't treat you like a tech-illiterate grandparent. Trust me, there's a land of better options out there, and you deserve the royal treatment. As I bid adieu to TalkTalk, I look back on the countless calls, the scripted tap dance, and the assumption that customers are as gullible as a dog chasing its own tail. This little exposé barely scratches the surface of my escapades. The iceberg of TalkTalk troubles runs deep, my friends, deeper than a mystery novel plot. And as for that single star? Well, let's just say it's shining brighter than a supernova of disappointment.

Absolutely disgusting the way they treat people, contacted as I had to move house and they did not manage in 3 weeks to activate the internet, several calls but I only got back “we are investigating the problem”, in the end I decided to cancel, after a month (in the meantime found another provider) I reveived a bill from them like nothing happened and I have to pay the monthly bill, called again to remind them the situation and said that my cancellation been rejected?! And I have to contact them back in 3 days and they will cancel it which this makes no sense. Effectively a waste of time and money, no one deserves such mockery. we are people and we work and pay to benefit from some services, not to pay nonsense and make endless calls.

Everything was good until I needed some help. The customer service is awful. I'm really frustrated. The online chat does not help and if you call even for the simplest matter, expect to be on that call at least 30 minutes to get some answers.

Weeeeellllll...>.........I'm almost afraid to write this. Had a problem with my internet connection, I had to call three times, but the lady to whom I eventually spoke, knew her stuff, and sorted things in a quiet professional manner. Breaks my heart to say this cos I generally dislike talktalk, but this time they were brilliant, sorry.

If there was a 0 review then I would love to give Talk Talk without a second thought. We have been experiencing difficult with our phone for the last 2 years. Sometimes we get cross line with Arabic speaking people sometimes with African speaking people. All we were doing was trying to get through to the hospital. Ninety percent of the time the person on the other side cannot hear us and we have to hang up and redial. We have recorded these and have played it to Talk Talk customer service in both South Africa and the Philippines. Its difficult to understand most of their call center personnel. We spent hours on the phone at any given time for them to sort out this problem without success. They dispatch engineers on many instances but they could not find any fault on the line.'The problem is in the home' they said.I changed FOUR phones, without any joy. They always threatened us with a £75.00 charge if they find the fault in the home.Today 27th July 2023 another engineer came and found no fault on the line . I showed them the Four phones I had changed but he said he could not find a fault. I played the recording we had of the Arabic speaking and another with an African speaking person but he could not understand. To be fair he was here to check the line only. I asked him to include the recording and the fact that I changed 4 phones in his report. I requested a copy of his report.I am waiting to see if they charge me the £75.00. If you phone the call center be prepared to spend hours on the line. They are generally polite.

My experience has echoed so many others on here. Left without service for over a month due to countless errors and absolutely zero communication from TalkTalk, or completely erroneous info from them. I have so many chat transcripts indicating contradictory information, promises unkept, and wild inaccuracies. We were told we'd receive compensation for our massive inconvenience and could only address it once we'd finally received our router (3 weeks after we should've had it), and that we'd have to call. We were told on the chat our appt time and after that time came & went w/o a call & having to call TalkTalk, were told it was a completely different day and time. I despise this company, our issues are still unresolved and ongoing even though we finally have service (now our bill is wrong, amazing). Avoid at all costs.

This was the worst experience I have had with any company in my lifetime. (I'm 50). My router hadn't arrived. When I enquired where, the call operators were so rude I told them not to send the router and to cancel the order. Then: Spent over four hours on the phone and website during the 7 calls i made that day. I had the call dropped on 3 calls after staff claiming they don't know what to do. I was lied to by operators saying they couldn't cancel my order please I failed security. I was lied to again when they claimed they couldn't cancel it because I could not provide my talktalk home number even after I told them my package was not allowed a home number. (I know) All I could do was cancel my DD. Guess what? They re-instated it. I had to call the bank and sort that. Then I recieve an email saying my router is on its way...... So... do you still think talktalk is a good idea. Apologies for writing a similar review previously but am writing this one the Trading standards Gov dep. You see an app on my device record all calls automatically and I think they will take a very, very dim very upon Talktalk.co.uk's operative tactics and behaviour.
