“An error on my behalf when booking online the wrong date but it was noticed straight away once payment was made. I called within 5 minutes to give the correct date and then couldn’t do the booking and wouldn’t refund me £42 which is outrageous as no cost had occurred to the company they just took my money and I had to pay another taxi for the A&E trip”

“Scammers! Cancelled the booking on us a few hours before pickup. When I called back the next day to see about my refund they said that I had cancelled the booking and won’t get anything back! Kept calling them and emailing for about a week to no avail. Eventually opened up a dispute with my bank and after telling taxicode this they did send the money back. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!”
“ABSOLUTE SCAM! Booked to pick us up from London and drop back to near Brighton at 2am as we were out for a friends 30th. Had a call to say our booking has been cancelled a few hours before. Spent over an hour trying to sort it out over the phone with them on the night, in which they repeatedly said we have cancelled the booking and that they will not be attending. Asked them to rebook a cab for us, given we have paid around £300 in advance already, which they refused to do. Requested a refund, in which they are now saying we cancelled the booking. Refusing to refund our money! Avoid!!!”
“Booked and paid for a taxi from The 02, it was late so asked them via WhatsApp how long they’d be, he said 15 minutes. After waiting another 15 minutes I said we will get another Cab and I want a refund. He said the driver has left his family to come and get you, normal in my world when you work to leave your family, and told me I wouldn’t get a refund. We went to our hotel in another taxi and the driver kept sending me his location, he got to the O2 an hour late even though I’d told them we were going. Absolute load of scammers, do not use them”

Booked using on a website called compare taxi, realised that the address details were not correct so cancelled the booking. Then booked with another company called Travaroo. When I saw that the payment was made to Taxicode I cancelled the booking immediately as it seemed fraudulent. The fares were £164 and £72. Out of this they have kept a total of £212.40. They keep on going in about there terms and conditions but there is no way these count if your booking is made under 30 days, cancelled on the same day a booking is made and when a driver has not even been allocated! I wish I had seen these reviews before hand.
Have been going back and forth with customer service today as they try to fob me off. Now been past over to a different agent. I have already reported them to Action Fraud and will report the to trading standards if a full refund is not provided as they are not following consumer laws.”
“Do not ever use this company. I had a taxi booked to take us to the airport at 12.30pm but it never showed so I had to make other arrangements at an extra cost to myself. I rang the company to ask where the taxi was & they should said the taxi driver wasn’t doing the job.”
“Do not book. Run as far as you can. They failed to provide us with two cabs - we'd booked a journey for 10 people, and instead they sent 1x 6-seater and did the journey twice over both ways. They've been really difficult to get a refund out of for this failed service, so I'd advise not booking with them and instead shopping around for local taxi providers.
I've personally passed on my story to a consumer affairs journalist alongside links to other complaints and would advise others to do the same - they have a long history of pretty much scamming people and so do seek help if they owe you a refund.”
“This company is better and good if you agree to the terms and conditions like every others companies. Well, I booked the taxi like 1 hour and 30 mins before the pick up time and the driver was waiting for me. Even, though i was late and the driver was also so sweet he really helped my mom because she is too old. I would recommend this copmany. As i have been thier customer for a while.
