“On December 17 I purchased a backpack online that cost me 59€. Before I proceeded with my order though, I checked whether there would be any import duty charges for me as I don't live in the UK. On the website it's clearly mentioned that they take care of that and there are no hidden costs! Yet, when the item reached my country and I went to the post to pick it up I was informed that I had to settle the import duty costs! It was around 24€, not much. But the fact that they claim transparency and finally end up misleading their customers is disappointing and frustrating. And of course their client service is non-existent. Never buying Ted Baker again.”

“Very unreliable customer service. I carried out an online order 23 December. On the 27 I contacted online chat and I asked for the annulment because Friday, I left the city (London) for my permanent address in Greece. The employee told me to wait 24 to 48 hours because is possible to see an process an to receive my order soon. I saw no evolution on the order and after many hours waiting on a call I was able to communicate by phone. The employee asserted me that she canceled my order and that payment is Pending and will be canceled so that I get my money back in 8 days. On the same day I went to a store and I made my purchase. The next they charged me for the online order and I saw the status completed. Since then I can not reach them again, they have turned off the call center and online chat. Very bad experience.”
“Ordered a candle original price £28, it was on sale for £16 plus delivery. When it came it had tester stickers all over it. No way are tester candles £28. Emailed customer services after 5 days no reply. Again at 7 days no reply. Its now 2 months.”
“Dreadful customer service, order on line 4 days before Christmas paid for next day delivery, nothing indicating a cut off delivery date. Email received stating next day deliver, nothing arrived the next day following day I called and was advised I had missed the cut off point. Advises the above, and requested for the item to be cancelled really unhelpful person Chris, said he would call if cannot be cancelled. No call or email received, 3 days later the item arrived and I wasn't home left near the bin got home nothing there, tried calling no answer, appalling customer care!!!!!!”

after a week I got an email saying I got to sign a 'denial of receipt' form so they could hand it to the delivery company. My package wasn't opened or tampered so why would I blame a Hermes driver for missing item. So now I got the option of losing £50 or blaming a delivery driver of stealing!”

The pigment of the dye is changing colour to an almost reddish colour
Spoke to the manager who didn’t seem to care and did not even offer for me to bring them in so they could be sent to the factory to have them checked
Exceptionally bad customer service and will not go back ever again
Amazing how they are prepared to lose a customer who spends hundreds of dollars fo the sake of $69.00

“I wouldn't order from them online again. I ordered two items which were sent and charged separately (which is fine).
I then returned one of the items value of £140, which was refunded.... No problems so far!
I then noticed they processed the payment again and had taken another £140 out of my account, causing me to become overdrawn with my bank.
When I first contacted customer services they couldn't seem to find the mistake but I provided information from my bank sstatement.
The refund after that point was pretty swift which I am really grateful for, and the lady on the phone was helpful and ubt it doesn't change the fact they should not have recharged me without my knowledge or permission.”

I had brought a scarf to wear for my graduation. I am a muslim women, so the scarf will be wrapped around my head. I had mentioned this to the ted baker team that the scarf is not just another accessory that will be tied to a bag or my neck. It will be worn as a headscarf. I had been waiting for my order since July 5. The week beginning 19th July, I had called up customer services explaining my situation, they had promised to investigate and that my scarf will be received before my graduation which was to happen on the 27th. I had called up everyday to chase them and I received an email to say that my order had been cancelled.
I have felt insulted and discriminated by ted baker”
