“When I ordered of silicone gloves and socks set, as I was about to use it, white powder started to stick on my skin on my fingers of both my hands. It smelled weird. I took pictures and is ready to be thrown out. The address says it’s from Norcross, Georgia. I thought they were good people.”
“I purchased from Temu two "pergolas", advertised with canvass and also with the vertical support for those canvasses to become pergolas. But I received only the canvasses. Temu shows an actual pergola photo including vertical supporting structure, but only delivers the canvass. I intended to return the canvasses to them, but the cumbersome and complicated system made me to desist. I feel I have been robbed. Will never buy from Temu again!”
“Don’t trust this platform, they trick you into buying things that are way more expensive then Lazada and you get totally not what expected and not matching description! I got a broken mirror, an item with a missing piece and bad quality(which was quite expensive) and the camera that is Chinese fake! Don’t go there, go to trusted platforms.”
“Why do you offer the penny items? $.01 items you never send them. You require a purchase to get them. You get the items you pay full price for buy never the $.01 items. Why is that? Please explain that”
“constant "security verifications" make the website and program unusable. on the rare occasion when i can actually click on an item, it is, literally, always sold out.
why is there an option to select croatian language when you're browsing from slovenia?! there is no slovenian option when i browse from croatia!”
“I order from Temu all the TIME!! I never get the 1 cent items. I have called and each time I am told I have only reached an 87% goal to get the one cent items. I have been very pleased up until a couple of months ago. I feel like I am being scammed because I spend what they ask to get them and never gat them. Very unhappy!”
“I was on hold with the hotline for three hours till they finally hung up on me. No one helped me. I’ve been messaging with their chat line for two hours and still have not got my issue resolved. I continue to repeat myself. They say they will get back with me shortly. No one ever comes back. Then when I asked what is taking so long, they respond as if I never messaged at all or as if they already helped me. I also returned six pairs of jeans for a refund. This was six months ago. I still have not got the refund. I would not use Temu anymore after this last issue issue I have I will be deleting them.”
“Temu offers for free stuff never arrived, is just an excuse to spend your money, TikTok is a better option cheaper. Fast delivery and no excuses about unavailability, it seems they play with your money for 3 to 4 days before you get a refund.”
“I have ordered so many things from Temu because their prices so cheap but remember that, you get what you paid for. Most things from Temu are bad qualities and some can't use them. Sometimes they don't send me my order and no refund back. Finally I stop buying things from Temu. Beware of scam.”
“I want to warn others about my experience with this company. I placed an order to qualify for a “free item” promotion, only to end up in a confusing, frustrating situation that still hasn’t been resolved.
The checkout process is deliberately misleading. They overwhelm you with huge discounts (90%+), 1-cent deals, and “free” item offers — but you can’t clearly view or review your cart before completing your order. Once you enter your payment information, you’re basically locked in without fully knowing what you’re actually being charged for.
After spending a long time carefully selecting my items, I received two full-priced products — one of which was not what I ordered. The receipt shows the correct item, so the mistake was clearly on their end. Despite that, I’ve now had to contact customer service multiple times, speak with three different reps, and submit photos of the wrong item twice. Each time, they stall or ask for more information, but never actually fix the issue. The shop owner hasn’t responded at all.
I paid for a higher-priced product and received a cheaper substitute, with no resolution in sight.
This entire experience feels like a bait-and-switch — designed to confuse customers and avoid accountability once the sale is made. If a company has to hide the truth to make a sale, that’s a huge red flag.
I’ve saved screenshots of everything and will be reporting this to my credit card company and appropriate consumer protection agencies. Be careful — once they have your payment info, you’re trapped in a mess.”
“I recently received a number of items from Temu for which I was billed. It is much easier to eat the cost than to deal with them. But here is an example of the quality of their products. I ordered a 4TYBE hard drive. When it came it seemed a little light. It worked for only 3 copy paste files. After that it was dead. Out of curiosity I took it apart to see what was inside. I tried to provide a picture. In short, the only meaningful component was a micro SD card glued to a small board. I removed it, stuck it into my PC and it worked fine. The only problem was it is a 78GB drive, not a 4TB. What else will they do?”
“So, I returned an item to Temu and received a $10 credit. I decided to spend that credit, but learned while I could use the credit, I had to buy a minimum of $20 to redeem it. OK, fine. I got an order of about $24 together and paid.
The next day, I received an email from Temu telling me to not forget the items in my cart. Yep, PayPal deducted the money alright. When I complained I was told to cancel the orders. Of the 10 items I bought, three went through - total of about $7. I canceled and got a credit. No option for a refund.
I told them I wanted my $24 refunded NOT credited. I spent about an hour trying to rectify the situation and was stonewalled the entire time. I complained to the attorney general's office. Hopefully, I'll see my money again. NEVER AGAIN, TEMU.”
