Despite this clear evidence, Temu and the seller refused to refund my money. Instead, I only received repetitive template messages from customer service for weeks, always promising updates in "2-3 days" without any real solution.
This is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate attempt to delay and avoid responsibility. I strongly warn other customers: Temu does not respect consumer rights and does not handle refunds fairly.
I will be escalating this case to consumer protection authorities in the EU and Germany (Verbraucherzentrale, ECC-Net).”
“I ordered an office chair from Temu to replace my old one, but unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing. To this day, I have not received the chair, nor even a proper apology from Temu for the lost order.
Instead of a smooth resolution, I am now stuck fighting to get a refund for something I paid for but never received. A company of this size should handle customer issues more responsibly and with transparency. At this point, my confidence in Temu has been completely shaken.”
“I have been ordering from Temu for a while and yes clothes are not sewed well and some as small to size. I learned quick to buy bigger and watch long dresses. But my biggest problem was when I was looking at some patio furniture and had some pop up and you know we all have had those. well while tried to getting them off, I guess I hit it too many times and it ordered the patio furniture by mistake. I made sure because I did not see it ordered so I had to check my card account and there it was. I contacted both my card and Temu ASAP and Temu said they would cancel it. Well long story short it is suppose to be delivered today by FedEx and nobody will do anything. I am waiting here to tell Fed Ex to take it right back to their truck and send it back I did not order it.”

“Temu's devious way of doing business is always the same. They advertise a price and then, after you "submit" your order, the advertised price always increases. On my last and final order I wrote down the price of 7 items that totaled $112.89. After I "submitted" my order the price for these 7 items was now $127.95. I cancelled my order and will never again buy from Temu.”
“Temu is not trustworthy at all. I've never received my free gifts and prices change when you have to pay. Quality of the items is mostly terrible. Then you cannot return them. Horrible experience. Amazon is safer for sure.”

Item arrived broken. I reported it immediately with photos and video. I followed every instruction and returned the item. UPS shows the package in transit and scanned. Support keeps repeating that they will not refund until they inspect it. No timeline. No accountability. No supervisor ownership.
I asked them to process the refund now since the carrier has the package and the item arrived damaged. Their response did not change after multiple chats. I am now out both the product and the money.
This has been a frustrating waste of time for what should be a simple refund. I will file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau and dispute the charge with my card issuer if this is not resolved immediately.
If you are considering ordering here, be aware that returns and refunds may be slow and scripted. Pay with a credit card, keep screenshots, and track your return.

“Do not buy any large items from Temu and as for me I won't be buying anything from them ever again! I purchased an electric scooter for $163.47 . Upon recording the scooter I opened the box to it out to look at it. Noticed it was cheaply made and immediately repacked it With an all its package materials. Never charged the scooter never ride the scooter and I returned it within a 7 day period of receiving. The merchant created a lie stating I returned the scooter with a defective charging cord. Which is outer hard to do on my behalf, it means they sold me a scooter with a defective cord if this is true. Long story short the merch's merchant only granted a partial refund of $82.43 I spent two months trying to appeal this claim to PayPal and Temu. Temu initially without considering the return tuned frame just ruled in favor of the merchant stating I needed to get the remainder of my refund from PayPal. PayPal was like they were paid them in full, Temu I'd responsible for refunding the remainder of your money. When I submitted the claim back to Temu they condoned the merchants fraudulent practices and did not even process my complaint and grievance against the merchant to have them removed as a seller. So basically I paid $163 for a brand new scooter that I returned brand new and I was NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY FULLY but the merchant received the scooter back in the same condition he sold it to me. Long story short save your money and don't purchase anything if value from Temu their customer service is trash and their merchants can be dishonest.”

If they ship at local warehouses than free shipping is not included. come to find out no matter how much you try and get to the required $25 you never get there because items are shipped here and there and the customer has no idea until after they have looked and looked for items and filled their cart and it finally tells you to add more because you can't check out with $25 then $40 etc. I won't be shopping Temu until they go back to what it was a year ago.
