“The Temu App shopping experience is annoying and deceptive. First, there are a lot of POP-UP SPINNING PRIZE WHEELS offering credits which are more like pennie’s. You’ll always win 195 credits, but you need 200 credits to claim your prize. To receive the 5 missing credits you need to purchase more items.
Turns out 200 credits is $2.00. However,
The credits never seem to be available when checking out or they are “expired”.
Also, they offer you $5 CREDIT if your package does not arrive by delivery date.
When you receive a $5 credit, TEMU sends daily texts telling u to claim your credit before it expires. I have tried to claim these elusive $5 CREDITS on the same day that I receive a text, but they are EXPIRE AT CHECK-OUT.
PRODUCTS: I purchased 3 sets of solar lights. one set is very high quality and came in a manufactures box with instructions. The second set was okay, around the same quality u can purchase at a discount store. The third set had two defective lights.”
“My last two orders were delivered beyond the delivery date. The iron ons were creased, crumpled and jammed into a very small delivery bag. That is how they get damaged. I would like to see Temu vet These distributors and manufactures that they’re working with. I don’t think Temu sees what’s going out. I ordered Sheets that are supposed to keep food cold. I’ve never seen anything like these before in my life. Not only did it arrive beyond the delivery date, but there were absolutely no instructions in the bag at all. My neighbor said I can bring them over to her house and together we will try and figure out how to do it. That’s unacceptable though! I’ve ordered previous and items arrived with absolutely no instructions. I know it’s not Temu. It’s the manufacturer, but Temu has a responsibility to us the patron to vet Quality of their merchandise.3 attempts to load pictures to no avail. Will try again.”
“They ALWAYS offer free items with a certain purchase amount. Several times I have ordered over the amount needed but never get my 2-4 free items. I buy from them because they do have lots of good items. But Why do they Lie????? It’s unnecessary!!!!”
“The promotion of receiving free gifts is misleading and dishonest. I followed the instructions to receive six gifts by placing the gifts I wanted in a box labeled “free gifts.” Instead of receiving the gifts, I was charged $110. The instructions on the event page instructed me to order up to $55 in additional items to qualify for the free items. Once I ordered the extra items, I was told I qualified for the six gifts. Once the paid items were ordered, I also ordered the free items, but instead of receiving the items for free, I was charged. When I spoke to customer service, I was told that I had to pay for the items in the boxes labeled “free” before I qualified to receive free items. Those instructions are not in the rules, and I found the boxes labeled “free gifts” misleading.”
“I purchased a pair of floral trousers and the inside seam above the knee on both legs pulled apart as it wasn’t cut and machined properly. They are not allowing enough fabric for the seam to be held together and it frays and pulls apart. AND I only wore them once demonstrating a factory fault.”
“I have been purchasing items from Temu for a while, but I’ve noticed some issues with the discount and free gift offers. Whenever I receive a 90% or 80% discount, the price either stays the same as before or the item disappears. The free gift offers also feel misleading because there’s no option to choose what you actually want. Instead, you’re required to purchase a lot of additional products to qualify. There’s no real option to select specific items, which is disappointing”

“Temu runs games that don’t really allow you to win the free gifts you pick! I needed to add $1 to get my free gifts and the system wouldn’t let me. I called and was told by a Supervisor I would get my free gifts. They were in the way he said! Never got them! Also the free shipping is not on all products they feature.”
“I do not recommend buying through this. It takes them a long time to send the order. When it arrives in the destination country, they send it via an incompetent, very slow package, which has problems with putting it in the box every now and then. They do not put it in, they do not write a reason, at most they just send you a message that they will deliver it another day. I have been waiting for the shipment for more than 4 days, which the package cannot deliver. Most sellers also sell poor quality goods. The agents are also unserious, they do not know, they do not want to answer a simple question, I am writing from the point, about something else.”
“Do not order any soft goods (fabric, yarn, etc.) Everything I ordered I threw in the garbage after numerous attempts to remove the odor. Packaging smelled too and permeated my room. Simply not worth it.”
“Its sharp practice of misleading advertising is utter waste of time and abusive. It lies and entices about free gifts, occupies your time making you have to roll or flip cards etc, gives you highly inconvenient "time limits" to secure a deal, and prices are already marked up enough that the deal is not worth it (prices change from deal to deal), it controls what you can buy from and requires minimum purchases so you end up filling your cart with junk just to get a deal or one item when it would have been far more sensible just to buy the bloody item at full price (whatever that is because you will never know). There are various other bs promotion and deals it distracts you with... saying get 6 free gifts because you are premium customer, but then it requires you to share. You share once, it tells you sorry, that only brought you close, you need to share again. then when you are inches away from securing your 6 free gifts, it says you have to share again and someone has to accept link and downloan and must be a new user. Even if you get that, it only inches you a fraction, asking you to share again. So bloody aggravating. Useless Utter Waste of Time.”
“It takes a long time to recieve the items you order and they get your money right away, they offer free items but not really free, just a way to get you to spend more money I know I've tired and months later still haven't received anything free and weeks later still haven't received the items I've paid for. Just be careful ordering items and be willing to take a lost.”
