I'm very happy with my new Trillium XL, it comes with everything you could need. The only thing I would change is the bag. A bag that's easier to carry would be helpful especially considering the weight of the hammock.

Enjoy hanging in the hammock in our leafy bush backyard. Only problem we found was finding the right trees in the right triangle orientation to get it nice and tight on all sides.

Very excited about my tentsile tent! Getting it set up takes some practice. Take it to a park to practice a couple times. The tent and bag washes dirt off very easily, but I would recommend a footprint underneath the tentsile for setup, and to have shoes/bags underneath the tent when you’re inside. I purchased a pre-used model and was ready for cosmetic wear and tear, but was bummed to find out on first setup that the netting that I see through to the treetops / sky has several snags, lessening the view a little bit. Overall very excited for adventures with my new tent. It’ll help extend my season and open up new places for me to camp with my kayak.

My 7y/o daughter and I love sleeping and hanging out in our flite tensile. I recommend this company to everyone who camps, and the only reason I did 4/5 is due to the tip of the smaller cross pole of the tent often pops out of the plastic end holder. There doesn’t seems to be as much tension on it ever as the longer pole

HI John, Thank you for the support and the review. can you send us some pictures of your set up as it sounds like something is not quite right as the poles should not slip out.

Love my connect tent. I’ve used it multiple camping trips over the last month. It has performed great. Setting up is getting faster, and tear down is so quick and easy. My favorite camping item ever

After reading all the reviews, I had to get one of these tents. I bought a 3 person safari…..I’m a large guy over 6ft and three people like me would be impossible. It’s a great concept and as far as being water proof it is…..Finding the perfect tree distance would prove to be a challenge at provincial parks… You need to find trees closer together than the straps require… Otherwise the straps stretch a lot….. This requires frequent re tightening. The safari is equipped with anti roll straps that adjust to help control centre roll. But tightening these straps it makes the hammock uncomfortable as it create 3 individual sleeping areas that do not accommodate a tall person with wide shoulders. Sleeping by myself I found to be really comfortable. So in conclusion. It’s a great concept for one, or people under 6ft. I wish it came in a larger size or the ability to turn it into a two person for larger people. If you are ordering for delivery to Canada it takes a long time to receive…. Mine took 37 days to arrive…. I understand summers a busy time for ordering. To blame Covid as a reason could have been legit but blaming Brexit as a reason my tent took so long to arrive from China was hilarious.

Everything came as expected, and there's tons of resources for how to set up the tent safely and quickly! I've slept in the tent once, and while it was a little rocky ( there's definitely a learning curve to getting it properly level), I'm excited to five it another go as soon as I can!

I live my tentsile hammock! I have the trillium and it's really easy to setup and take down once you've found that perfect spot to relax. A nice solo hammock by yourself with plenty of space or enough to hang out with friends (see what I did there)

Helpful online assistance and amazing brand initiative. Only downside is discovering the Treetents are manufactured in China.

Love my new 6 person hammock. Took me a while to find the 3 trees in the right angles. Once it was up it was very relaxing to have my family reading and lounging. Very sturdy. Material is a bit abrasive if you move to fast. Would buy it again in a heart beat.

This is an excellent product and the quality received met my expectation (note that I am fussy about quality and detail). What skipped my attention when buying this product is that there is a minimum and maximum distance for the trees to be found. This is mentioned on the website but not easily noticed. This is an important aspect to suspend the tent properly in-between 3 trees and buyers need to keep this in mind.

We bought the Trillium XL. It is absolutely fantastic. Easy to set up, strong, reliable, comfortable and it looks great. I took off one star because a strap got caught in the ratchet and frayed a bit on Day 1 - seems like the ratchet could be engineered to prevent this. Would definitely buy Tentsile again.

A very good tent. It's really special to sleep above the ground. The learning curve is pretry hard. The way to place the tent will impact a lot on your sleep. It sure to me view, the only negative point on the tent is you can't sleep with somebody on your side, it's not that kind of tent ! Super tent ! We're having a lot of fun to use it !

So for the most part, we love our 6-person hammock. It's fairly easy to set up, once you figure out how high to set the straps (for me at 240lbs and my 125lb wife and 120lb daughter we set them at about 8'. We then needed a step-stool to get on) and the hammock would sag down to about 3', even with the ratchet straps as tight as I could get them. Unfortunately, there is no way we could sleep overnight w/o us all ending up bunched up in a pile in the middle...unless I got off. Too much sag. It is fun to hang out on and a few kids might be able to sleep overnight on it but I seriously doubt 3, let alone 6, adults could sleep overnight on it. It just isn't taught enough. ***One word of caution: MAKE SURE THE RATCHET HANDLES ARE FULLY CLOSED AND THE LOCK TABS ARE ENGAGED!!!!! I failed to do this on one ratchet and when I got on with my wife, the strain on the ratchet barrel was able to rotate the barrel, the "not-locked" spring-loaded stop bar tabs were pushed off of the barrel notches and we both came crashing to the ground. Good thing we were over forest duff vs concrete but we both landed on our backs and hit the back of our heads and were damn near knocked out. My fault. Been using ratchet straps my whole life. I knew better but got complacent. #PersonalResponsibility

I have had my Safari Connect set up all summer for the kids staying here to play with. It was easy to set up, and while we may pushing the limit on how much exposure it gets for weeks, it seems to be holding up. I keep it covered with the rain fly until they are ready to get in. I will say that there are debris of tiny insects inside that make it through the mesh - after weeks - and the color on the orange straps is fading, but everything else is great.

I love my Stingray. When I did have an issue with the ratchets, Tentsile was great about getting me replacements. the one problem I have, is support for the product after a new one comes out. I have a stingray 2.0. Shortly after the introduction of the 3.0, its like my tent doesnt exist now. Buying accessories for it, becomes impossible, I wanted to get a hatch cover for it. Nope, the 3.0 doesnt work on the 2.0 and you cant GET one for the 2.0 now. It would be NICE to have legacy parts available. I spent a LOT on this tent, I shouldnt be stuck without the ability to buy replacement or accessory parts for it.

The negatives: - Bigger/bulkier/heavier than true backpacking tents and hammocks - Learning curve setting up the tent. I have used my Flite ~10 nights and have always had to make significant adjustments after the first night but that 2nd night has always been way more comfortable than any traditional hammock tent - Rainfly should be lighter and have bigger surface area to stake it out better (regardless, to the ground or the straps) - The Flite is not a 2 man tent. It’s really meant for one person and a backpack. My son uses his REI hammock The positives: - If car tenting, significantly less and lighter gear. - Once set up, the most comfortable side sleep in camping I’ve had Overall, the price is higher than comparable set ups, it’s bulkier and heavier for backpacking and the setup is still tricky for me after limited use but the comfort once set up well is great, which is the difference in 3 stars vs 4 stars to me
