Absolutely love my tent. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Best camping i have ever done. I find myself wanting to lay in my tent rather than go exploring.

Me and my fiance got the stingray tent double stack as well as a extra trillium!! We love the product and it has checked all of the boxes for what we were looking for when receiving this product. I have been following your company for years dreaming of my very own and when we finally got the piece of land near a lake in NH we just could not help but save up and purchase. With that being said the issues we had with shipping was a little unnerving. I want to point out that you as a company always got back to me when trying to figure out where we were at in the shipping process. The biggest issue was that we were told that the shipment was only going to be pushed back 28 days and we waited almost 2 months. Then in order to get the shipment past customs i had to send Fedex my private personal identification codes in order to get the shipment past customs. None of this would have been frustrating if anyone could have told me that this verification form from Fedex was necessary, i had to go into it blind so that my shipment was not canceled. The product is honestly well worth it, we love it so much and so do are dogs and we cannot wait to use it all the time next summer. Just wanted to write this review so that you can help others that this might happen to. Just be honest if it is going to take a long time because of Covid, totally understandable. We love Tentsile and everything that you guys stand for, and will recommend you to all of our friends and family!! You guys are amazing, just wanted to take the time to help you guys understand some of the hiccups that went on with our shipment so you can better service your next customers.

Thank you for the feedback, Emily. And the photos. We very much appreciate your comments regarding the shipping. We did find COVID very challenging and we are constantly finding ways to improve. Typically our shipping times are 3-5 working days, but currently they are 28 working days. Sorry it was longer for you; there have been a few exceptions to this. Please accept our apologies. Do keep sending in the photos - we do like following new Tentsilers on their journey! Thank you. :)

Thank you, Emily, We very much appreciate you taking the time to give us this feedback and sharing your photos of the Tentsile product in use! It is great to see you guys in the trees with your furry friends! It has been a rollercoaster ride this year, but with many lessons learnt! Many thanks, Tentsile Team

Hi Massimo, Did you not get the pole we sent you? We certainly do understand that you are upset that the poles were not inside the tent, but a new set was sent out as soon as you alerted us to this. Tentsile Team

RE: The Stand Below is correspondence I sent to the Tentsile Support Team in September. I have not heard back from them as to the status of their inquiries into the matter. I remain very disappointed with the damage the product sustained in transport and the apparent intransigence in finding a more swift solution. I feel that Tentsile should stand behind their product and how it arrives right off the bat rather than having the customer wait for the dispute between you and the freight company involved to solve the dispute. I have been waiting to receive the item before responding to you. It came in two packages; the three bases were received last Tuesday (August 25) in a smaller box and the larger box with the various tubes was received today (September 1); a week later, since FedEx would not deliver it to my door. Again, this is a far cry from the delivery date of prior to August 21 that I was originally assured in August 10 (see email below). To add insult to injury, the boxes and their contents showed a shocking degree of damage. It is obvious that no care whatsoever was made to adequately package the box with the bases, since two of these sustained considerable scuff and scratch marks in transit - see pictures attached. These were simply placed in a cardboard box and that is it. The larger package had minimal bubble wrap, but it is clear that this did next to nothing to prevent numerous paint chips to the 6 assembly tubes - see pictures attached. Yes, this is cosmetic, but these look like they have been used and mistreated for years and they frankly look like hell and certainly NOT new! In addition, the two flimsy red bags that contained the racket straps have multiple tears to them. For a company that makes toiletry bags out of excess rugged hammock material, I am surprised that some of that material is not used to make durable and useful bags for these items. The bags provided are next-to-useless. I was excited to order this item, but I am now sorely disappointed that I did not opt for the refund when it was offered to me. The product might be great (I have not bothered to assemble it to see, mind you…), but attention to packaging and shipping is woefully lacking. You ask what can put this right for me, at this point a product return and full refund or significant discount is in order, since the item is badly damaged. For an established company and an item costing over $1100 CAN I expected more, especially when I am very familiar with the brand, as I currently own a Stingray and Vista hammock tent and a fabric Trillium as well as multiple accessories - this I am sure you can verify. I look forward to hearing from you about this matter, Yann Brierley

Thank you for the feedback, Yann. We understand packaging arriving like this is unacceptable and not in line at all with how we consider our products. I have pass this on to our Support Team and asked they look into how we can best rectify this situation. Let's hope we get a good resolution to this. Please stay in touch. Tentsile Team. :)

Hi Yann, Thank you for pointing out the disappointment you felt at the state of the product upon delivery. You will no doubt see and agree that the product was of high quality with a good finish, when shipped. We are also disappointed with the courier's handling of our Tentsile Stand and are looking into how they justify damaging a paid for product in this way during transportation. We can see that there are a lot of scratches to the paintwork that should not be there. If we have missed an email about this case that has been left unanswered, we do apologies. We are a small team and doing the best we can to reply to each and every communication. Many thanks, Tentsile Team

I love Tentsile and Tentsile products. My family are always on the lookout for a good spot to stack setup our tree tent or hammock. I just received some tent walls to give my step son some privacy on his own "floor". Thank you to everyone at Tentsile and Tentsile support for addressing my questions and concerns.

Stingray 3-Person (3.0) is simply fantastic tree tent. I thought it would be more challenging to set it up the first time, but it took less than 10 min with the help of my 3 year old :) After several trips this summer, I can not help but say that all expectations have been met. It's good to be aware that if you are going to take it on a longer trip in tough terrain, I would probably have packed it in another bag and reviewed if you needed for example rain cover and such to save weight. For shorter trips, the bag that comes with it is perfectly fine.

I present to you OCTAVIA, my new tent, my suspended city: you know, maybe I found Italo Calvino's famous invisible city! How beautiful is the forest? If the moon insists, it draws; if the branches dance, silence speaks to us. We can finally return to living in symbiosis with trees, because we really return to recognize them as the pillars of our existence. Life suspended on Octavia is incredible and less uncertain than in other cities because we know the limits and we know that the ropes that support us can not hold up that much. It is the projection into daily life, it is the metaphor of our existence, of our certainties, knowledges, convictions that often appear invulnerable, invincible, except then realizing they are not when everything collapses on us. It is essential to become aware of one's limits and the limits of our life. "This is the essence of the city: a network that serves as a gateway and support. Everything else, instead of being raised above, is hanged below: ropes ladders, hammocks, sack houses, hangers, terraces like boats, skins of water, gas spouts, rotisseries, baskets hanging from strings, hoists, showers , trapezoids and rings for games, cableways, chandeliers, vases with plants with hanging foliage " Here is my new city, welcome to Octavia.

It took a little longer to get my order than I had hoped (spare poles for a Flite and a 2 person hammock) but not a biggy under the circumstances. And it arrived on my birthday which was great timing. The weather was sunny, so my girlfriend and I took to the trees in our local park to test it out. We drank some bubbly while hanging about in the evening sun, chatted to a few people who were interested in my new hammock and had a wonderful evening in the trees.

Thanks for the feedback, Andrew - and the understanding on the shipping. Such a long wait is not typical for us. Love the photo, and hope you enjoyed that bubbly - looks like a wonderful day! Happy birthday. And again, thank you. :)

The delivery of the tent took over two months. During that time Tentsile run a special discount campaign, but they did not want to refund the difference even if I the product had not shipped (60€). When I wanted to cancel the order they had shipped the product, surprise surprise. The tensile refund procedure required the sender to pay all the costs which is quite different that other web shops. I am so disappointed to the company that I have not even opened the package. The product may be good, but the season went past waiting for these guys to deliver. Very disappointed.

Thank you for the feedback, Antii! Very useful for us to know and hear. Yes, during the pandemic there have been some examples where we have fallen short of our own standards - and sorry to hear you were one of them. Due to restrictions on global shipping - especially to Europe - and problems with supply chains, we have been late in delivering to a few customers. I understand the season has now passed, but please accept our apologies and go out and use the Tentsile. Really, I think you will enjoy the experience. And please get in touch with out customer services if you need anything. We're always here to help.:)

Ordered during COVID 19 to give the kids an activity to do at home since regular camp activities were cancelled. Was excited to set up the tree tent and followed the helpful set up videos and in less than 30 minutes we were in our new tent in the trees away from ground critters!!! The kids had friends over and they were all blown away to see a tent in the trees rather than on the ground that they could climb up into and all had a blast! Looking forward to many urban camping experiences with the kids in out tree tent.

Well slap a Kodiak bear and call me Sally… this thing is awesome! We live on the side of a super steep hill, and therefore the majority of our yard is useless for hanging out----BUT now that we have this gigantic hammock, we can hang out with our friends while looking up at the stars and have deep conversations about why its not a good idea to slap bears. A few other reasons this thing is great: We have an Airbnb on our property, and we bought this hammock in order to give our traveling guests a “unique experience”.... This thing is a huge selling point for our guests, and will, therefore, pay for itself in no time. We keep this out in our yard 24/7 and are super confident it is going to pass the test of time (I am a super frugal individual, and would not be willing to invest in something that isnt going to last long term) I also help lead a youth ministry at our church. Every year we go on a camping trip, and students LOVE having this massive hammock to sleep on, and hang out on. This thing builds some amazing community and makes some great memories. Be the hero of your family/friend group/ camping group/ etc and pick one of these up today!!

I got the 3rd gen Una as I wanted to travel alone. Short version: I wanted to make biking holidays in Norway this Summer. We all know what happened, sad as it is. I layed pretty good and it felt very "natural", however I did not get any sleep. This might be because of outside factors (the Autobahn is really loud). Nevertheless the tent itself is as promised. It hangs securely in the air, provided you find three strong trees that arrange nicely. Extended Version: Setup: If the trees are "perfectly" positioned, I am able to bring up the tent in 10 Minutes. If they are not very well aligned, I need anywhere from 10 to 25 Minutes. This might reduce the more I get used to it, but again, not many occasions this year. Sleep: As said in the shorter version, I could not get much sleep. However, the about 1,5 Hours I got were pretty comfy. I would highly recommend a skypad in addition. Without a mat underneath it gets very cold very fast. Packing: Packing the tent needs some thought as it all had to fit into my bar-bag. Quick note: I have a 19 Liter bag where my tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag have to fit in. But this only took me 2 tries and I got everything into the bag. I would say the packing size is pretty small for a tent. (compared to 2 man tents). Only thing I have to say it that the roll-up bag the tent was delivered in does not line up nicely up roll it back up (the straps are two different lengths). The Tent itself: I really like how you can basically have a hammock when you remove the mosquito net. This makes it also very easy to clean as you can just pad against the bottom and all dirt flies out. The storage underneath is also very very useful. This was the ultimate decider for me to buy the tent. There are also two storage-nets inside the tent on either side of the head end and one storage-net that you can hang on two loops. I found this latter one really useless as it hangs completely in the way of my head. It might only be useful if you are not in the tent for storing things. The zippers dont close completely, there is always a little hole of about 6-10mm in size. I found it was getting bigger as I moved more inside the tent, but that was to be expected. I really dont see how this could be done better though. I cannot really find anything special/bad about the flysheet. It does what it promises. I never used the tent in rain, but I would not hesitate, knowing everything is made so good and well thought out. Final thoughts: I like this tent (coming from a german thats a pretty high praise :p). I really hope to be able to use it next year in Norway/Sweden

I bought a new tentsile flite 3.0 and some extras. When I bought this on the website everything was in stock, so 28 days delivery time. But tentsile could not deliver the product in this time and I tried to cancel the order because of this. But they do not accept this. After 27 days they send me a used tent, which was incomplete and has a damage at the mosquito mesh, also different parts of the tent was from the old series. I contact the support directly. They informed me that they will replace the unit when they have it back inthe stock. The tent is in the EU stock since min. two weeks now, but nothing happens. So I wait for the replacement since 1.5 mont, I have nor response on my E-Mail because of the replacement. So tentsile keep the hole money for a damaged and unsed tent. The idea is greate and the cancept works fine. But only one star because of the support and the quality of diferent parts of the product.

Thank you for the feedback, Sven. It is true this Covid year has been difficult for us, with restrictions on shipping volume into Europe and delays with shipping routes and supply chains. We have worked very hard to maintain our high-quality service, yet there have been instances were we struggled. This is not typical of the user experience, and we apologise you had to go through this. We hope to keep your support in the future. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.
