Couldn’t purchase a clearance tent accessory online - wouldn’t take my payment and freight to me - outdated way of doing business especially in a pandemic.

For many years I have been happily shopping at tent world, I think their selection is good and with quality products. They always have stated “large discounts”. However, the Burleigh store has now totally changed my opinion, and made me no longer a customer. I’ve shopped there many times, always paying full price and with below par customer service, (this store at least). Today for the first time ever I asked for a price match and was told by a wonderfully helpful guy that this was fine. However at the registers it became undoable with a whole checklist of excuses all non justified or logical. If you wish to advertise such great specials, then they should be comparable with other companies and not based on a ‘once-was’ price. I will take my business elsewhere.

We bought our Coleman Dark Room 10p tent here last August, it had holes in stitching, attracted mould inside & out, and 3 zips broke off! Not happy! This is barely a year old, and was not cheap. What do you as a company offer me and my family ? I would like a response or email as a paying customer.

The customer service at brendale is disappointing. It always seems like the staff at brendale think the public are a nuisance and I wouldn’t be surprised if they bonded over talking about this. The staff seem to be too busy doing their daily tasks or speaking amongst themselves to make you feel welcome into the store and invite you to purchase or inform you about products. Last time I went to tentworld I felt like the staff member hated their job.

Limited customer service. Very shocked at the comparison to the quality of services as I just went to bcf before going to the tent world.

I brought two swags the stitching that go I brought a camp oven it was cracked I brought a gar gas barbecue they forgot to put the plate bag in I got the new camp oven and the zipper broke on the oven bag I feel I should get a free camp chair or something for all the trouble I've been through with my purchases

I love your store but the girl who served me yesterday had no idea about the product I was buying and kept telling me it would repair canvas but it clearly stated vinyl and then eventually when I read it amd told her she said oh ok would u like a refund

You sold me a Helinox Table One floor stock, giving me a $5 discount. Salesman distinctly said discount was for lack of packaging. Salesman knew leg was damaged as he dismantled it. I found out when I got home and tried to assemble it. Salesman knew because the leg is very hard to insert and detach. Cashier asked for my email saying it was for warranty purposes. Salesman had authority to tell cashier to discount sales price. Tentworld not trustworthy or reliable.

I placed my order on the 13/10/2020, is was directly shipped off. However I am yet to receive it, I have had nothing but issues with TOLL. It is a present, I payed express post to ensure that it was received in time. It was my daughter birthday and she has still not received her present, she is devastated and so upset and I an extremely angry and frustrated. Unfortunately TOLL does not give TentWorld a good reputation and due to issues with TOLL I will not be purchasing in the future.

Do not buy this coleman all night gazebo. We bought and used only once but the ceiling has damaged so went to the shop but they didn’t do anything. This product has poooooooor quality. We spent $229 for only once used ;(

Terrible. Sold me a used item that took them over a week to ship, then made me jump through hoops to return. Had to raise a paypal case. Finally refunded 2 weeks later. STAY AWAY!! Worst customer service i have experienced.

Hi tent word after attempts by your manager in Adelaide to refund my wifes account we have found out from our bank that no refund has been made ?? But you managed to steal another 510 dollars from my wifes credit card so the 1500 odd dollars you were supposed to refund us didn't happen but you took a another 510 so just over 2 grand now taken from my wifes card because of your incompetence all confirmed by our bank ANZ tonight ?? Tent World keep sending me emails to complete a short review. Bricks and mortar store don’t send me askin for a review after I’ve shopped in store. Maybe I will stick with that instead of buying online and getting harassed weeks later.

I purchased a tent for $300, used it once, and it had holes in the base. Tentworld were initially very helpful and lovely and this was exchanged for the same tent, which again I used once a before again it had holes in the base. I reached out to Tentworld for a second time, requesting an exchange or refund, advising that the item is clearly not suitable. And this time I received the most unhelpful, inconsistent, condescending response which didn’t even pretend at being customer service. I was told that typically this is my fault, typically this is west and tear, that I was given benefit of the doubt by the first customer experience from another team member, and offered no solutions other than some tape given to me in approx a months time once it is available (for me to patch up the tent with tape). I am so surprised and disappointed. I am still awaiting a response around my request to speak with management and my request to have this issue presented to OZtrail, the manufacturer of the tent and pending this, will be really vocally sharing this experience and outcome amongst friends and family.
